Real Housewives Of Atlanta‘s “Chocolate Tales” have taken on Willy Wonkian-proportions. Apparently no one fact checked their golden ticket to drama before dipping a toe into the chocolate river. Are Housewives required the same due-diligence as researchers when regarding inner-personal matters of distorted rumors? Can one rely on Apollo for any sort of “evidence” – particularly in regards to “texes.” Never fear - Dr. NeNe Leakes has the cure!
According to Cynthia, she simply brought up the affair situation because they were having a group “conversation” and she wanted to know if it was true. If Phaedra is involved with Prince Chocolatier from the ChocAfrica, she should have just admitted it! Cause they would all be so accepting and supportive, uh-huh.
Our favorite reality TV stars cannot get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to social media to share even more of their lives with us. And we would not have it any other way. Here’s a roundup of some of our favorite snapshots and selfies from this week. Enjoy.
Above: Don’t Be Tardy star Kim Zolciak shared, “You guys finally talked me into trying a waist trainer! I can’t believe how tiny it makes my waist. I’m obsessed with @nowaistclique waist trainer. It doesn’t show through clothes!”
Speaking to E! News about season two, Jackie shared, “If you’ve seen season one my friend, I certainly have not changed anything. I always keep it real, I’m always very straightforward. I could probably swear a little less. It sounds much nicer in another language, like I usually swear in, but when you swear in English it sounds a bit more, uh, bloody awful.”
So Phaedra Parks is a bit less, um, genteel this season, wouldn’t you say? Don’t get me wrong, she’s still wants to seem like a refined Southern Belle, but her words are more Mad Dog 20/20 even if her voice is as smooth as a mint julep. Come to think of it, most Southern ladies (myself included) can be that way, so maybe she’s right on point!
I do know, however, that the Real Housewives of Atlanta star’s next career path should be that of a tree farmer. Phaedra is all about the shade this season! Granted she’s been through a lot with the Apollo drama, but I think she may just be coming a bit more out of her shell! Ooh how she came at Kenya Moore on this week’s episode, and Krayonce wasn’t even wielding a bullhorn!
I will be the first to admit it – I never tire of the delusional ego of NeNe Leakes. I’m not sure why, but she amuses me to no end with her holier than thou attitude and ability to throw stones while living in a glass! Reflecting on this week’s episode of Real Housewives Of Atlanta, NeNe calls out Cynthia Bailey on the obvious and calls out other people -ahem, ahem Kenya Moore – on the hypocrite act!
Without naming too many names, NeNe alludes to the misdeeds of others. “It always amazes me how these ladies like to point fingers. It’s always somebody else’s fault rather than admitting, ‘Yeah I was wrong,’ or, ‘Maybe I shouldn’t have said that at that time,’ or, ‘Maybe I wasn’t there for her because I had my own problems going on,'” lectures NeNe, the Godmother of Housewives everywhere. “It’s always easy to point the finger at your girl NeNe and hope that no one will see their true colors!”
The Shahs of Sunset cast members are making the press rounds this week. Reza Farahan stopped by The Commission Show on PNC Radio to dish on the new season and more. He slams NeNe Leakes and throws shade at Andy Cohen “since he’s not my boss anymore.”
On landing the show and using the platform for good. They want to know if he holds back certain things or if the show is the “real him”. “I didn’t think anything of it, I didn’t know if it would go anywhere or not.” He says that even if he would only have the platform for two minutes, he wanted to address homophobia in the Middle Eastern culture because he had friends that committed suicide when he was growing up. “I thought if I could impact someone’s life, that would be great.”
Kandi Burruss hasn’t had too many issues with her co-stars yet this season. Most of her drama seems to be focused on husband Todd and her mother, Mama Joyce. That said, Kandi took a little heat from Porsha Williamsduring this week’s episode because she didn’t chase after Phaedra Parks fast enough when she ran out of the group dinner. Kandi addresses that and more in this week’s blog.
Kandi shares that she’s keep a wary eye on NeNe Leakes and her suddenly attentive behavior toward Phaedra. “Of course I’m skeptical. NeNe has been nice these last few months, but that does not make me forget the years of drama and insults that have come from her in the past. Yes, I get that people change, but it’s OK for me to proceed with caution as I would’ve thought Phaedra would. Well, hopefully things will continue to be great with them and NeNe can continue to be Phaedra’s rock.”
Last night on Real Housewives Of Atlanta some ladies got served retribution and others got served a taste of their own medicine – and some ladies need to take a seat at the kiddie table because they cannot play with the big girls.
Phaedra has several burly bodyguards to keep her safe in a fortress of delusion, just in case “gone asunder” means lurking in the bushes, holding a drill in a menacing way. (Apollo is scary and we did see proof of holes in the wall. Yikes!) Good thing Phaedra has her preacher arrive with a vial of holy water to exorcise this home of its demons.
