I guess the friendship contract I assumed had been voided long ago is still in place after all! Perhaps the former and current Real Housewives of Atlanta stars have even added a truce addendum! Cynthia Bailey, who drafted the infamous document to solidify her bond with NeNe Leakes, has found her voice over the past two seasons, and when NeNe left the show, there was no love lost between the one-time besties. However, it seems that hell is starting to freeze over–is that a pig I see flying??–because the two ladies have been spotted together…and they are smiling (and blonde)!
NeNe shared the above-posted picture to her Instagram with the caption, “Super sexy in the big city @cynthiabailey10 #byebrazil #workinprogress.” NeNe has been in New York due to her Broadway stint in Chicago, and Cynthia isn’t the only one of the Neenster’s RHOA cast mates who wish her well. NeNe retweeted former Atlanta housewife Sheree Whitfield (who has already made waves this season), responding “Thank u boo!” to Sheree’s comment: “Proud of you @NeNeLeakes You are gonna kill it! #neneinchicago”
Our favorite reality TV stars cannot get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to social media to share even more of their lives with us. And we would not have it any other way. Here’s a roundup of some of our favorite snapshots from Thanksgiving. Enjoy.
The night before her return to the big stage, NeNe shared on Instagram, “The spotlight will be on me TOMORROW nite as I take this stage! You know life has a way of knocking you down but God believed in me when so many didn’t! No matter what you have been thru your dreams can come true! This is my second time on BROADWAY! #gettingbacktome #chicago #neneismamamorton”
NeNe will play Mama in Chicago through December 20, 2015. She previously said her services were requested through January, but she said no, “I couldn’t do it. When you do Broadway, you really cannot do anything else. You have to clean your schedule, and the moment that you clean your schedule, that is when everybody calls.” Check out pics of NeNe‘s first night in Chicago below.
The cameras caught our favorite reality stars out and about on both coasts this week/weekend. Ramona Singer, Sheila Rosenblum, and Dorinda Medley attended the Sheila Rosenblum Resident Magazine Cover Party at Soho Contemporary Art Gallery. Earlier in the week, Sonja Morgan celebrated her 25A Magazine cover at Beautique in NYC.

“I love Broadway,” gushed NeNe. “This time last year, I was on Cinderella, and now I’m on Chicago as Mama Morton. I have two songs. I’m doing a solo and a duet, so I am trying to stay well. I love Broadway. The schedule is tough – it’s a very tough schedule – but I love it.”
NeNe went on to say that Broadway wanted more NeNe than NeNe was willing to give them. Because, you know, it wouldn’t be fair to deprive everyone else who wants a piece of NeNe for more than four weeks at a time. “Originally they wanted me to do it until January,” she claimed. “I couldn’t do it. When you do Broadway, you really can’t do anything else. You have to clean your schedule, and the moment that you clean your schedule, that is when everybody calls.”
Kenya acknowledged that Kim threw her “a lot of shady looks” when she asked her to help direct Life Twirls On. “I wasn’t expecting that,” she admitted. “In the coming weeks, you’ll see if it’s a good fit or not.”
It’s hardly a mystery, as Kenya‘s opinion of Kim turned sour, “You know, some people are made for reality TV and some people aren’t. I mean, you have to be kind of interesting, right? I don’t [find her interesting].” OUCH!!
NeNe Leakes is gearing up to start her second Broadway turn next week in “Chicago,” playing Matron “Mama” Morton. Since she’s in NYC, rehearsing for her new gig, she stopped by The View this morning to dish on everything from marriage to Gregg, starring on Broadway and being grateful for The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
The ladies bring up the fact that NeNeremarriedGregg and she says that love is definitely better the second time around. She says she loves having a husband, “I love companionship, love being married.” When Joy asks why they split to begin with, NeNe evades answering with specifics and just says she “had to teach him lesson – never to cross me.”
