“I think it was a great move on NeNe’s part to get everyone at the table to lay a foundation for a more peaceful existence. There was a lot of emotion and even more history sitting at that table, and it’s going to take a lot of work on everyone’s part to get along,” Phaedra says.
“Whenever there are conflicts like this, I think it is important for each person to recognize what the others are and are not capable of,” Phaedra continues. “If you understand a person’s limitations, and adjust your expectations accordingly, there is a much greater chance of success.”
The polls are closed and the votes are tallied in our First Annual Reality Tea Readers’ Choice Awards! Stay tuned today as we unveil the winners for each of the categories you voted in over the past two weeks. Some of the results might really surprise you!
NeNe won the award with just under 30% of the votes! One of the most popular write-in votes was for former RHOA star Kim Zolciak. Other notable write-ins: Phaedra’s kids, Miss Sharon, and Miss Lawrence.

Kenya chooses to not use Porsha’s name in her blog this week, referring to her as NeNe’s new BFF instead. “Although NeNe has barely spoken to me this season, I wasn’t surprised to learn that she invited her new BFF to drinks. I also wasn’t shocked to see that despite it all, she still refuses to apologize for her violent actions. This is after NeNe, Phaedra, and Andy (to name a few) have all suggested she do so.”
Oh Real Housewives Of Atlanta – for all their ‘hate is real’ when it comes right down to it these ladies know how to have a good time! And laughter is the best medicine, as they say.
NeNe Leakes put on her lace football jersey and strategized about how she could re-unifiy this group, so she invited Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Williams for drinks to help them make amends. But the Hail Mary pass came when she sneak-invited Kenya Moore by telling Cynthia to “bring her girl.”
NeNe didn’t tell Porsha until she was seated at the bar, drink in hand, expecting a good old-fashioned keke about how NeNe should stop wearing denim short-shorts and Cynthia should watch those RHOA flashback scenes with woe because her fashions have gone as downhill as her finances!
Reality TV is usually known for its TERRIBLE fashions, but once in a while a gal (or guy) gets it right. Rarely, but hey – it happens. Lord knows this list was a struggle, I had to really search and search – wrack my memory, so to speak – to find the good looks.
However, after careful consideration, lots of overlooking, and focusing on the positives here’s my pick for best dressed reality TV stars of 2014. Many people are on this list because of progress made – even if it’s merely outfit to outfit progress, but remember we’re thinking positively. <side eye>
Mama Drama: “It saddens me to see Kandi still going through such heartache with her mother, and blended and extended family,” said Kenya. “This should be the happiest time of her life, but it has been overshadowed by the constant infighting. I hope for peace for Kandi and that she can focus on extending her family with a new little one soon. She deserves it.” Kandi’s problem is Kandi.
Despite evidence to the contrary, NeNe Leakes is human y’all and sometimes she makes mistakes – like that WIG she was wearing on this week’s episode of Real Housewives Of Atlanta. Of course because NeNe Leakes is also NeNe Leakes, she claims fabulosity comes at a price and sometimes the truly creative designers among us take a risk which explains her lifelong episode of being foliculely challenged!
NeNe admits that WIG didn’t work, but says she is just soooooo busy being soooooo fabulous and soooooo successful and sooooo ‘nother level she did not have time to obsess over her hair. A very rich bitch pays her best accessories – the gays – to be in charge of her appearance, cause a rich bitch has little mini gays she carries around in her Firkin. BTW: does this mean we can now call NeNe “WIG”? I digress.
“As a designer, you take risks that sometimes don’t work! I think we all can agree the bob wig I wore in my interview didn’t work,” NeNe states. “I could give you this whole spill about what actually happened that day, but I’d rather not!”
