Are any of y’all watching Livin’ Lozada? I have to admit, I’m intrigued, but not intrigued enough to commit to programming my DVR. I got my fill of Evelyn Lozada on Basketball Wives, and while I wish her well, I just can’t swap the image of her charging barefoot across a table at the Kentucky Derby with her reveling in the calmer side of family life. Not saying she didn’t make a total and genuine transition, but fool me twice, shame on me!
Those of you who are tuning in are aware that Evelyn recently suffered a miscarriage, the aftermath of which was featured on her new OWN reality show. My heart goes out to her for her loss, as well as being open enough to share it with her fans. Hopefully her experience will help others facing the same tragedy.
Admit it. You knew she couldn’t stay away from the cameras for very long! Evelyn Lozada is back on the small screen, starring in a new series premiering July 11 on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN. Et tu, Oprah? Livin’ Lozada is being touted as a docu-series, which is basically the term all the cool networks are using these days when trying to promote yet another reality show that most certainly will not be wrought with baseless drama and fake story lines or senseless violence involving throwing bottles at co-stars’ heads and literally scaling dining tables in a single leap to attack a former friend. Who wants to watch that? No, seriously…who does? Bueller?
The controversial former Basketball Wives star is no stranger to the limelight even though her spin-off with ex-husband Chad Ochocinco Johnson didn’t last as long as their short marriage due to his domestic abuse. The new show promises a softer side of Evelyn. It will follow her relationship with her fiance, majillionaire Dodgers baseball star Carl Crawford while she juggles being a business woman and mother to twenty-two year old daughter Shaniece and one year old son Carl Leo…who is the most precious child ever, by the way!

Holly Robinson Peete, of old school 21 Jump Street fame (yeah!) and husband & former quarterback Rodney Peete are getting their own docuseries (aka reality show) on OWN. The working titled production, For Peete’s Sake, will “follow the lives of husband and wife duo Holly Robinson Peete and Rodney Peete as they juggle their careers with their family life,” according to blackcelebkids.com.
Why is OWN taking an interest in the Peete family, which includes the couples’ four children – twins RJ and Ryan Elizabeth (17), middle son Robinson (13), and the youngest, Roman (10) – and Holly’s widowed mother, Dolores? Well, according to OWN president Sheri Salata, “As longtime members of ‘The Oprah Show’ family, we’ve watched Holly and Rodney navigate successful careers in show business, a devoted marriage and a growing, love-filled family.” Salata adds, “This new series gives an entertaining and honest look at a modern family that just happens to live in the celebrity spotlight.” Salata also tweeted yesterday, “Team Peete is ready to roll!” after Holly had posted a photo on her Twitter account of her hubby and her hanging with the Lady Who Rules Us All, Oprah Winfrey.
Our favorite reality TV stars cannot get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to social media to share even more of their daily lives with us. And we love them for it! Here’s a roundup of some of our favorite photos from this week. Enjoy!

We've seen it time and time again. A child star grows up in the spotlight, has fame hungry parents, no one ever tells them no, they party, their squeaky clean image starts to get tarnished, the pressure mounts, drugs happen, lesbian relationships ensue, parents of tweens who love them are outraged, tabloid stories become far more prevalent than movie roles, rehab happens, then a comeback, then rehab again, Lather, rinse, repeat.
Sound familiar? No, I'm not predicting Miley Cyrus' future (although I could be), but I'm referring to everyone's favorite train wreck–Lindsay Lohan. Girlfriend has had a quite a time, hasn't she? What's next for her? Well, thanks to Oprah Winfrey's OWN network, she's getting her own reality show. That should be helpful in her "recovery."
In today's shocking news, former spouses Jon and Kate Gosselin still aren't getting along. The one time laid back member of the Jon & Kate Plus 8 duo is decidedly more low key these days. Thankfully, Jon is no longer dating nannies, abusing Ed Hardy (that we know of), or hanging with Michael Lohan. As for Kate, she's basically the same, but tanner with a much more expensive lifestyle and sense of entitlement. It's a wonder these two didn't work…
While Jon and Kate struggle to get along, their eight children are the ones who suffer. Jon is quick to mention this to Oprah Winfrey. See how casually I mentioned that? Yes, Jon is going to be interviewed by the Big O for her series Where Are They Now?
We all know that things haven't exactly been peachy keen for Lamar Odom. Once seemingly happily married to Khloe Kardashian, the NBA player is in a major downward spiral due to alleged substance abuse and infidelity.
While theKeeping up with the Kardashian's star has remained out of the spotlight, Lamar remains in the tabloids thanks to DUIs and faux Twitter rants expressing his gratitude towards Kris Jenner (we all knew that had to fake, right?). Is there anyone who could possibly draw him out of his cave to tell his version of the events?
