While some reality TV stars make a huge production out of going to church on Easter <cough-Kris-cough-Kardashian-cough> for the paparazzi, others enjoy quiet, quality time with family. Of course, they ARE still reality stars, so they post pictures. Here is a roundup of our favorite pictures from the holiday weekend.
After nearly a decade off the air, The Osbournes is coming back to TV. The wildly popular and Emmy award winning reality TV series originally aired March 2002 through March 2005 on MTV.
Sharon Osbourne announced the news on The Talk. “It’s not as much coming back as a proper series [but] as an update,” she said. “At most there’ll be only six to eight episodes. It’s a catch up on our lives and where we are now.”
I think we can pretty much credit MTV with the birth of reality television thanks to the explosion of The Real World, but it didn't stop there. Think about all of the families we watch on a weekly basis, from the Robertsons to the Kardashians to everyone in between. Where did the madness begin? Some may say with a ride on the crazy train courtesy of The Osbournes. Don't act like you didn't watch!
We saw Jack and Kelly Osbourne grow up on camera (although eldest daughter Amy didn't participate) with the always hilarious chirping busybody of a "mum" Sharon and bumbling, mumbling former death metal star Ozzy. And, of course, don't forget their tiny pooches! Now Kelly is a fashion consultant for E! and Jack is family man–how precious is his wife? (pictured with him and his parents above)–currently competing on Dancing with the Stars…but do they ever think about going back to the days of reality television's first family?
Our favorite reality TV stars can't get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to Twitter to share even more of their daily lives with us. And we love them for it! Here's a roundup of some of our favorite pictures from the Twitterverse this week! Enjoy!
There is some full blown drama with America’s Got Talent. Long time judge Sharon Osbourne has quit, accusing NBC of discriminating against her son Jack Osbourne in light of his recent Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis.
According to Sharon, Jack was in negotiations with NBC to star alongside Nick Lachey and Dean Cain (now that would be quite a trio!) in a military-inspired reality show called Stars Earn Stripes. However, after Jack found he had MS, the network basically handed him his walking papers. If that is the case, shame on you, NBC! Of course, the show’s producer David Hurwitz claims that a deal with Jack was never finalized.
