Peta and Maks headed to New Jersey for the weekend and celebrated their upcoming arrival with family and friends in Brooklyn at the McCarren Hotel. Among the guests: Amber Rose, who is dating Dancing with the Stars pro Val Chmerkovskiy.
Their baby boy is due any day now!
Check out the photos below. They shared some of the photos on instagram and there’s a gallery from the event down at the bottom, too.
Even though Maksim Chmerkovskiy has taken breaks from Dancing With the Stars before, it’s hard to imagine the show without him on a permanent basis, but apparently Maks is so done with the show. Who knows if this is true forever, but he does seem pretty serious this time.
And you know what? It makes sense. He is engaged to Peta Murgatroyd and they are expecting their first child together soon, so it is perfectly valid and actually refreshing that he would want to focus on his family life even though he has a red hot career on such a popular reality TV show.
Cute dogs, cute couple, and colorful autumn leaves..what’s not to love about this picture?! I don’t get the chance to say that too often while compiling this Twitter and Instagram pictures post every week, but credit where credit is due: Million Dollar Listing New York star Fredrik Eklund does social media right. Fredrik shared the pic above of himself and Derek, adding, “I love this little family.” #AllTheFeels
Happy Tuesday. Only three and half more days til the weekend. In the meantime, let’s see what our reality stars are up to this week. Above, Lisa Rinna attended a special “Watch What Happens-Live on Stage” afterparty at Revolver Video Bar.
Maksim revealed to Us Weekly about why he decided to return to DWTS after sitting out two seasons. “I was on tour with my brother Val this summer. I finished, dillydallied for a while, and I was like, “I want to move a little! So, short of taking f–king salsa lessons, I might as well go do Dancing With the Stars!” My tenure on DWTS was constantly tumultuous. There was always negativity. But this tour was a very cathartic experience. It focused on life through dance, how we got here. Things that bothered me before no longer did.”
