After minimizing her “BFF” status with Kenya Moore in front of boomerang bestie Nene Leakes, Cynthia Bailey is doing a bit of backtracking. Since Kenya apologized to Cynthia in Jamaica, Cynthia has officially returned to gushing about The Twirl That Does Not Come Unless It Is Called For! Indeed, Cynthia shared in her blog that Kenya’s friendship “means the world” to her.
But it wasn’t all insincere apologies and BFF reunions for the Real Housewives of Atlanta this week, for there was gossip to be spread about newbie Kim Fields‘ poor, unsuspecting husband! Cynthia comments on the situation: “When Sheree [Whitfield] brought up the Chris rumors to Kim, I was glad I had no part in the earlier conversations regarding his sexuality. My husband has consistently been a hot topic amongst some of the ladies in the group, and regardless of whether or not a rumor has any validity, once it is out there it never really goes away.”
About not claiming Kenya as her best friend, Cynthia maintains, “I don’t really feel like I was backing away. The bestie word came up – and we’re not best friends, we’re not BFFs, we’re not besties, we’re not any of those things. We’re really really good friends – very close. I love Kenya. We have never referred to each other as best friends.”
Kenya Moore wants us to take another look at the tapes. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star is shocked that viewers think she started the gay rumor talk about Kim Fields’ husband Chris. She sets the record straight and also says that Peter Thomas could learn a thing or two from Matt Jordan.
Kenya started her Bravo blog by clearing up who it was that started this discussion about Kim’s husband, “I find it crazy that some viewers believe I started the discussion about Kim’s husband. WRONG. It was Phaedra. Phaedra stated he “was zesty” and “had a fire in his pants.'”
The wannabe Real Housewives Of Atlanta star is accused of attacking a man named Brandon Link during a business meeting!!!! #Professional Did Peter owe Brandon money? Rhetorical question! Police have issued a criminal summons for Peter, in order to interview him and get his side of the story about the alleged altercation.
The alleged assault involved Brandon Link, who claims he and Peter had been discussing a business proposal that involved his wanting to rent out space at the bar. Apparently, the negotiations between the men went totally left and Link accused Peter of becoming irate and yelling, “You think I give a f**k about your money?” Suddenly, Link alleges that Peter’s anger turned into violence and he was flung across the room like a rag doll.
Well it’s bottle popping time! The Real Housewives of Atlanta’sCynthia Baileyand the show’s alum, NeNe Leakes have mended their broken friendship and are now in a better place, or so it seems. On Sunday night’s RHOA episode, the show’s former “IT” diva, NeNe, appeared on Cynthia’s doorstep in her usual grand fashion and overdone from head-to-toe.
When Ms. Leakes, along with her shiny long blond tresses, skin-fitting designer duds and husband Greg Leakes in tow, rang Cynthia and Peter Thomas’s doorbell, she then greeted them boisterously. During NeNe’s catty commentary for the segment, she proclaims with a beaming oversized toothy grin, “Yes bitches, I am back!” She then gives RHOA co-star Kandi Burrussa dig, then announces to all of her haters, “Pick your faces up off the floor, she’s back,” followed by a quick fingersnap.
Cynthia Bailey’s marriage to Peter Thomas has largely become her main storyline on this season’s Real Housewives of Atlanta. Will they last? Will they fall apart? Will Peter refrain from getting involved in womens’ business long enough to pretend to be a recommitted husband? Despite the real issues at stake (so Cynthia claims), the drama surrounding the couple’s relationship sometimes come off as manufactured at best, and boring at worst.
