The backstory in case you are new to the reality world. Porsha and Kenya have have never been friends. In fact, in the two seasons that they have shared the screen, I have hardly even seen them act friendly.
Everything came to a head at the reunion, with Kenya Moore egging Porsha on, until Porsha snapped and took down Kenya while cameras were still rolling.
This summer Porsha will serve as the Dish Nation's summer guest host to offer "her distinct perspective on breaking celebrity news, and of course, comment on the latest gossip surrounding her fellow TV housewives," says the press release.
Here's hoping Andy Cohen has some very deep pockets, because the Real Housewives of Atlanta are hoping to milk their huge popularity for all it's worth! After an explosive reunion, there has been much speculation as to whether Queen B (as in "bloop!") NeNe Leakes will grace the network with her presence. Rumors have also been swirling as to the fates of Porsha Williams and Kenya Moore after their crazy brawl.
After the scandalous videos emerged in the media, Miss Lawrence(known for being both Kenya Moore's BFF and a RHOA institution) called Porsha "ratchet and tacky" on the Russ Parr Morning Show. “Those are her beliefs granted, she is entitled to her beliefs. But if you want to hold true to your beliefs, don’t come over to the LGBT community or gay girls and want us to help you with your hair or want to use your gay slang or want to carry us like your purse. You stay over there and you stick to your beliefs," Lawrence continued.
Now it's Porsha's turn to share her side of the story. Also sitting down with the Russ Parr Morning Show, Porsha insists that sermon was taken out of context and Lawrence is the ratchet one!
"She has a problem with where the whole show is going. Last season was really dark," Porsha reported. "She said she feels like it's changed." Porsha also emphasized that if NeNe left the show it would be a mutual parting and that Bravo has no intention of firing one of their biggest stars.
Now that Real Housewives of Atlanta has finished for the season, it's time to start speculating on who will come back, who'll get the boot, and who may get the dreaded demotion to friend status. I'll give it to Bravo, the network has worked it out so that we are never without housewives drama…even if a given season isn't filming!
Rumors have been rampant for a while that Porsha Williams was fired. First gossip claimed that she got axed for being too boring, but she proved that notion wrong when she went hair pulling crazy on co-star Kenya Moore at the RHOA reunion. Of course, following that debacle, stories flooded that Internet saying that Porsha was let go for her violent outburst.
Kenya Moore sat down with Andy to share her thoughts and feelings on the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion fight withPorsha Stewart, her issues with NeNe Leakes, her attempts to get pregnant and more. It was a little shocking to see that Kenya decided to play this interview completely mellow and level and not her usual high strung, over the top theatrical self.
Andy starts the chat by saying he feels like the viewers have taken Porsha's side in the brawl incident. Kenya replied, "I don't know if it's surprising as it is sad. I don't think that when you take someone's side of who has attacked someone and for someone to say 'she made me do it' or 'she deserved that', I think it's a sad commentary for people who would take her side in that."
Does Kenya think she was being a bully? "I think by definition a bully is someone who torments a weaker person. I think that term is not appropriate here."
Andy shared that the props are at the root of the allegation that she provoked Porsha. "I don't think the props had anything to do with being provocative at all. I think that there was a plan in place prior to the reunion to come and attack me."
