A new winner was crowned last night on the finale of CBS’ Big Brother13. Following a season filled with many twists and turns, the final two came down to a newbie vs. a veteran.
In the end returning veteran Rachel Reilly, a 27-year-old waitress, emerged the winner, leaving the game with both her man and $500,000! Rachel, who won the final HOH thus deciding whom she wanted to go up against, beat runner up Porsche Briggs, 23, in a very close vote.
Rachel ultimately won by a vote of 4 – 3. Shelly Moore ended up being the deciding vote as both Porsche’s and Rachel’s alliances remained loyal to them until the end. But don’t feel too badly for Porsche as she also left the game $50,o00 richer.
The final HOH is not only guaranteed a spot in the final two, but they also get the privilege of choosing whom they want to go up against.
The final HOH will be decided in three competitions. The winners of the first two comps will battle it out in a final contest.
On Thursday’s show, the first part of the HOH competition was one of endurance. Check below to see who won, and keep checking back to see the updated results of the remaining comps!
According to our BB poll from Thursday, majority of you, over 50%, are actually rooting for Rachel to win it all! Not that surprising as Rachel is arguably the best player left in the game thus the most deserving.

In a new interview with Digital Spy, the 30-year-old swimming coach talks about his fiance Rachel Reilly…of course, he also touches on his alliances in the game, what he would have done differently, and his unfinished business in the Big Brother house. Excerpts from Brendon’s interview below –
Had you been the one to stay over Jordan, would you really have tried to mend your relationship with Daniele and possibly work with her again or was that suggestion just for show? “No, I would have sent Daniele home 100 percent. I would never have trusted her in the game. Especially with the opportunity she was presented in not having to do anything while our alliance fought to stay in the game.”
The veterans really seemed to take control of the house in the first few weeks before it all crumbled. Where do you think the veteran alliance went wrong? “The veteran alliance went wrong with Daniele. She is so burdened by living in the shadow of Evel Dick that she couldn’t be satisfied with just playing with other people. She had to make her mark by being the manipulator and having the game center around her.”
What would you have done differently, if anything, if you had to play again? “I would consider not having told Jeff and Jordan about the plan Daniele was hatching and kind of let it ride out because it more than likely would have gotten Rachel and I to the jury house.”
Besides Rachel, who did you really see yourself going to the end with? Would you have continued to honor your alliance with Jeff and Jordan? “Besides Rachel, there was no one person that I really trusted 100 percent in the game. Even with Jeff and Jordan, I knew that Jeff really wanted to make it to the end and that he would turn his back on us in the end if he needed to.”
Do you feel as though you’re done with the show now, or do you still have some unfinished business? “I am not done with it at this point because Rachel is still in the game. But after this season, I am looking forward to putting Big Brother behind us and continuing on with our lives.”
Meanwhile, a live eviction episode of Big Brother airs tonight on CBS at 9/8c. Tonight’s episode will be different as one of the evicted HGs will return to the game!
On the block for eviction are Rachel and Lawon (who volunteered to go up on the block and even asked to be voted out!). Lawon definitely put himself in the running for the dumbest choice made by a Big Brother HG ever. Lawon apparently believes if he is evicted and gets to return to the game, he will receive some special BB powers. Wowzers!
Rachel or Lawon will go head to head tonight with one of the previously eliminated HGs (Keith, Cassie, Dominic, or Brendon). As we reported last week, polls showed Cassie was garnering most of the fan votes, with Dominic coming in a close second. Our poll is below so let us know who you would like to see return to the Big Brother house!
TELL US – THOUGHTS ON BRENDON’S INTERVIEW? WAS LAWON’S CHOICE STUPID OR VERY STUPID? WHO DO YOU WANT TO SEE RETURN TO THE GAME?
We’re only two weeks into the current season of Big Brother 13 and already, it has become a lackluster season.
Similar to the big failure of the “Saboteur” twist last season during which the Saboteur was the first Houseguest evicted, the twist this season of the returning “dynamic duos” is turning out to be one big ball of fail.
As I’ve stated on numerous occasions, Big Brother might just be my favorite reality show of all time, yes, I like it even more than the Housewives, okay maybe just slightly more. The show is simply genius and manages to captivate fans year after year with crazy twists and even crazier characters. So when it was revealed this season that some of the popular past HGs would be returning, I and others were filled with glee! However the show premiered and just two weeks in, it’s become predictable, lackluster and I find myself wishing the returning HGs had never returned. My reasons are below –
The Dick Factor – While I’m no fan of Evel Dick, he was arguably the most entertaining, combative, and explosive player on the cast this season. Matter of fact in the history of Big Brother. His return was met with cheers from both fans and non-fans of his. Love him or hate him, you knew he was going to make this season one to watch. However, Evel Dick’s run in the BB13 house was short lived. As in he had already left the house by the time the show premiered on Thursday, July 7. Even worse, ED was not replaced and instead his daughter, the slightly annoying Danielle, was given a golden key guaranteeing her safety for 4 weeks. Even much worse, no explanation was given for Dick’s departure. Seriously, the viewers deserved an explanation. It’s the least Big Brother could do after his abrupt exit.
The Returning HGs – Once again, this twist sounded great in theory but my feelings started to change once the returning HGs (Jeff and Jordan, Brendon and Rachel, Evel Dick and Danielle) actually re-entered the house. Something about the return just felt a bit like deja vu, sort of like a been there done that feeling probably because they had been there and done that. As expected, Jeff and Jordan were still as adorable as ever while Brendon and Rachel were still as annoying as ever. Evel Dick and Danielle were no longer on speaking terms which was not surprising and felt very 2007. With the returning HGs, we are missing out on the magic that came out of their first appearances. Seeing Jeff and Jordan connecting on the show, possibly falling in love was a one time deal as well as seeing Brenchel connecting on the most ridiculous things. Plus having to see Evel Dick and Danielle try to mend their relationship… again with ED carrying Dani all the way to the end… again would have been pretty boring and uneventful. And isn’t it interesting that even in ED’s absence, he’s still carrying Danielle further in the game?
The New Houseguests – This brings me to the new HGs who I now find myself rooting for at all costs. Why? Well because they are now the underdogs in the game. In addition to the fact that it’s really unfair to pit the newbies against some of the best players to play the game. After all, Jordan and ED are past winners while the other returning HGs made it pretty far in their respective seasons. While the poor newbies pretended to be excited upon hearing Julie Chen’s announcement of the twist, you could clearly see in their eyes that they were none too pleased to be sharing their season and chances at half a million dollars with others who already had their chance. And just as expected, the returning HGs banded together to form a tight alliance and have been mercilessly kicking the butts of the newbies. Let’s face it, did they ever really stand a chance? And despite the newbies being stupid, not being able to stick together, and being amateurs at the game (well this is their first time playing), it’s gotten to the point where I find myself hopelessly rooting for them, and hoping they pick off the returning HGs, even Jeff and Jordan – both of whom I happen to love, one by one.
The All Star Season? – With the return of the 6 HGs this season, what does this mean for a future BB all star season? The first and last all star season was season 7 which would lead any rational fan to believe season 14 (next year) would make the second all star season. By bringing back the HGs this year, does this mean they won’t appear on next year’s all star? Better yet, what does this twist mean for next year’s all star? Is that even in the works? As a devoted BB fan, I can only hope! As the first all star season was one of the best BB seasons yet. Can you imagine an all star season with Jeff, Jordan, Brendon, Rachel, Evel Dick, Danielle, and other great players? Now that would have been something to watch! But by bringing these players back this year, Big Brother might have inadvertently ruined what could have been a phenomenal all star season 14.
And judging from the feedback of Big Brother fans online, it seems majority of them feel the same way I do. Following Jordan’s win for HOH last Thursday, many fans started to complain about the predictability of this season.
The Reality Blurred blog summed it up best – “Dominic seems like he has some game in him, so I was disappointed when he lost HOH and Jordan won. Her win makes me significantly less interested in the next week of competition because the returnees remain in control. The show and game work best when power flips, but this win plus this season’s structure means there’s little chance of that.”
Some of the comments from BB fans on twitter are below –
“[The newbies] are more like superfans than players,” tweeted TammyRene_.
“The show is predictable b/c we’ve seen the vets play before, we knw all their moves..so it’s like wtf step ur game up newbies,” tweeted IamJerves.
“Gonna be a boring week!!! I cannot take any more of Bookie,” tweeted auroralmama.
“The veterans seem so bored and not very appreciative that they are there.” tweeted RHO_TWEETS.
I couldn’t agree more. Big Brother had better hope the newbies start winning some competitions if they plan on keeping me interested this season. Because quite frankly, a Big Brother 13 season in which the alums pick off the newbies one by one and end up making it to the final 5 will be awful to watch. They had their chances. The newbies deserve a fair chance as well.

While CBS officially revealed the 8 new houseguests entering the Big Brother 13 house this season, they kept the identities of the returning all star “dynamic duos” a secret.
Well it is a secret no more as a Big Brother insider has revealed the six returning all stars. The good news? Natalie and Jessie will not be returning.
The better news? Jeff and Jordan will be returning according to twitter user Crystal Eisermann. Joining Jeff & Jordan will be Brendon and Rachel, and also father/daughter duo Dani and Evil Dick. “Since it has leaked, I guess I can confirm that Jeff and Jordan, Dick and Dani and Brenchel are the Duos!” was the tweet made by Crystal on Monday.
Crystal, who has interviewed a number of the BB houseguests in the past, is rumored to work for Real Player which offers the live feeds of the show. Hours after revealing the HGs, Crystal tweeted, “To everyone asking how I know who the duo’s are, let’s just say I have friends in high places?!? And yes I’m sure.”
Of course CBS will not confirm this leak so we will have to wait until Thursday to see the returning duos. While the live feeds won’t begin airing until Thursday night, all of the houseguests have entered the Big Brother house since late last week.
As for the updates on the returning HGs, Jeff and Jordan are STILL dating, going on almost 2 years now. Below is a recent photo of them from May. And as you know, Brendon and Rachel are still together and are now engaged. There are also reports that Dani and Dick are not on speaking terms so it will be interesting to see how it all plays out if they are indeed houseguests this season. While Evil Dick seems to be a fan favorite, I’m personally not excited about his return as I did not like the way he treated the women from his season. Perhaps he has now turned a new leaf.
TELL US – THOUGHTS ON THE REPORTED RETURNING HOUSEGUESTS? ARE YOU EXCITED ABOUT THEM?
“I’m engaged 2 my best friend!!!!!!!!!” tweeted Rachel, who then proceeded to tweet a photo of the engagement ring below.
In fact, the two are now entered in to win a Crate & Barrel Ultimate Wedding contest. Below is their “love story” posted on their entry page –
“Ours is a modern fairytale, having met on a TVshow & being locked away with each other. It was a fate fostered by TV & our love for science. We fought together against all odds, my knight saved me, &we continued our new public image, through trials we triumphed. We began on the set of a famous reality show but continue in the intimacy of our own home! Our proposal was one for the books, hot air balloon ride, and a proposal on the beach under the star he bought for me,his little star.”
Allrighty. A photo of Rachel’s engagement ring is below.
TELL US – DO YOU THINK THESE TWO CRAZY KIDS STAND A CHANCE?
An update for the one to two Big Brother Brendon and Rachel fans out there. Apparently the two are still together, or were still together until this some drama broke out a few days ago.
A self proclaimed model named Molly M. Shephard posted photos of Brendon Villegas on Twitter Friday alleging he had been unfaithful to Rachel. The photos included webcam images of Brendon’s face and penis.
It all started when Rachel Reilly posted the following message on her twitter page Friday, “Laying in bed with my future husband!!! Life its goooood :)” The Molly chick then tweeted to Rachel – “@RachelEReilly then why’s your future boyfriend sending me naked pictures?” Rachel didn’t believe Molly as she replied back – “@mollymshephard future husband sister… And id treasure these “pics” cause its the closest you’ll ever get to MY MAN!!! In Your dreams!”
Molly’s tweets were then followed by two webcam photos of Brendon. One of his face and one of his penis. It seems Rachel must have recognized “her man’s” penis as she changed her tune. Rachel tweeted, “@mollymshephard look I don’t need u to be mean to me…. Just call me and tell me what happend dm ill give u my number ur mad but I’m the one that’s [getting] played like a fool.”
Brendon, 30, who has since deleted his twitter page, then issued a public apology to his lady Rachel. “I disgraced rachel and I am sorry to all. I had a skype relationship w/ another. I have never slept w/ anyone else no matter what Crazy says.” He later added,“I’m stupid, I’m an idiot, but I’m human. And humans mess up… I publicly embarrassed her and she is an amazing girl. I messed up big time.”
Molly, a 23-year-old model from California has since given an interview to TabloidProdigy.com during which she claims she had been seeing Brendon for two months and that the two had a sexual relationship. Molly added that she is also a victim because Brendon told her he was no longer with Rachel.
A photo of Molly is below as well as a screenshot of her DM messages with Rachel –

UPDATE: A youtube video of Brendon apologizing is below.
Rachel Reilly, a 26 year-old chemistry graduate student/VIP cocktail waitress from Las Vegas, NV, found herself the latest houseguest to be eliminated from Big Brother 12.
Rachel, the winner of two HOH competitions was ultimately sent home for being both a threat and an annoying HG. Rachel was a target from the start due to her quick developing showmance with Brendon, and success at competitions. In a new interview with PEOPLE, she discusses being eliminated, her future with ‘her man’ Brendon, and what she thinks of the other players.
Excerpts from Rachel’s interview below (Note: this interview was done before Rachel’s return to the house) –
Brendon went on the offensive to keep you in the house. He threw away his chances at half a million dollars for you. If your feelings for him were so strong, why didn’t you try to stop him, or at least make the same offer to him? I did try to stop him. I did make him the same offer. He and I discussed which one of us we wanted to keep in the game when we knew that one of us was going home. It was a mutual decision. He told me he wanted to do it and NOT to stop him.
You were such a strong player, and Brendon couldn’t seem to pull his weight. Do you think Brendon let you down when it mattered the most? He didn’t let me down, but I wish he would have won.
With each eviction, your outgoing message was: “Ain’t nobody getting between me and my man!” Do you think the showmance blinded you to a point? Why do you think that people were trying to break you up rather than playing the game?
I don’t think they were trying to break us up. I think they were trying to break up our strong alliance because we were both strong players. I still don’t want anyone getting between me and my man!
You said that you are Vegas, but Brendon was going to give up a chance at half a million for you. Would you have given up Vegas for Brendon? It would be really hard to move to L.A., but it would also be really hard to not be with Brendon. Mostly, it would be hard to leave Vegas, but I think I could do it.
How strong is the bond that you and Brendon have? He said that you could be the mother of his children, do you agree? We have a very strong bond. I think that we have a very good future ahead of us. Keep your eyes out.
What was your biggest mistake? How did it affect your game? Knowing what you know now, would you have not gotten involved in a showmance that alienated the rest of the house?
I think that I should have kept Kristen and Hayden. Kristen would have eventually turned on me, but I think that it would have bought me a few more weeks in the house. No — I trusted Brendon more than I trusted the rest of the houseguests. He would have always been loyal to me when the rest of the houseguests were only out for themselves.
You said that you thought everyone could be “playing harder”, who is playing the strongest game so far, and why? Matt and I were playing the strongest games. We were the only ones that were not scared to win and to play. We weren’t scared to make decisions.
Tonight’s episode of Big Brother should be epic as Matt will likely be using his Diamond power of veto to get himself off the block. Since he won’t be putting up any of his Brigade members, it’s likely Kathy or Britney will be his replacement nominee.
TELL US – WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON RACHEL’S INTERVIEW? WHO SHOULD MATT PUT UP TONIGHT? WHAT WERE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE REGAN/RACHEL SHOWDOWN?
