Luann is still in the honeymoon stage when it comes to this relationship. She’s so happy these days that she didn’t even have it in her heart to shade anyone during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live. I’m sure Andy Cohen was a little disappointed by that.
We open at Sonja’s house, where she’s dyeing her eyebrows and ordering interns to ferry her chocolate. Tinsley pops by to move the hell on in – complete with pillows! Once the “It Girl” girl of NYC, Tinsley fell hard when she splashed across the tabloids in stories revealing ongoing domestic disputes with her boyfriend, one of which resulted in her arrest. Tinsley, now less of an It Girl than a Who? Girl, is trying to rebuild her life. Mission one: find a different sort of guy to date. You know, one who you don’t need to call the police on weekly. Sonja is down for the cause.
On the season premiere, Ramona Singer used her crazy eyes to hypnotize Luann into believing she truly wishes her and Tom all the happiness in the world, and will stop speculating about their relationship. Then Ramona guzzled some Pinot and resumed her Googling.
Sonja wasn’t happy to watch the episode and hear what everyone was saying behind her back. At least she had some cute scenes with Bethenny Frankel. It’s surprising after their Tipsy Girl feud last year, but grudges are short-lived on this show. The best alliances friendships are constantly switching up.
Unlike a lot of reality TV stars who put a lot of effort into being interesting, Dorinda Medley is just naturally entertaining, at least in my opinion. She’s a little rough around the edges and always tells it like it is and I love it. Not only that, but she is a lady who never has any qualms sharing her opinions and I live for it.
We interrupt your regularly scheduled parade of selfies and self-promotion for some Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles baby news.
Josh Altman shared the pic above on Instagram, adding, “The greatest day of my life. April 3rd at 4:55pm Heather and I welcomed our amazing baby girl Alexis Kerry Altman into the world. Weighing 7lbs and 20 inches long, this angel is absolutely perfect. To experience the birth of your child is such a mind blowing event that is greater than anything I can describe. I’m so happy and so proud of my wife for handling this like a champ. Life has definitely changed in an instant, and gazing into my baby girl’s eyes, I can tell you it got much better.”
The RHONY trio also offered a glimpse into what it’s like to brawl in front of the cameras (Sonja confesses she can’t stand reunions – they make her sweaty!) and how their friendships continue to forge ahead, despite the drama. Ramona admits that she’d never want Jill Zarin back on RHONY, despite what she calls Jill’s “desperate” attempt to return. And as an added cherry on top, Ramona and Sonja coughed up some inside info on what went down behind the scenes on Scary Island with Kelly Bensimon back in the day!
There’s an interesting juxtaposition when it comes to Ramona Singer’s candor on Real Housewives of New York. Sometimes she shares every thought that pops into her head and other occasions, she’s tight-lipped. Basically it comes down to this: Ramona has no problem expressing her opinion when it comes to other people’s lives; she doesn’t reveal much when it has to do with her own.
So yes, we saw Ramona coming home from a lunch date during the premiere, but there’s no way she’s going to say much about it other than describing it as a “hot date.” On the other hand, she has so many thoughts on Luann de Lesseps and her engagement to Tom D’Agostino. Not only that, but Ramona called Tom’s ex in California – in the middle of the night – just to get the scoop. Is she stirring the pot or genuinely trying to help Luann? It sure seems like the first one to me.
