In her blog this week, Kristen Taekman throws a bit of shade at Sonja Morgan before respectfully tipping her hat (or her statement necklace) at Sonja’s long-time-coming fashion show. The Real Housewives of New Yorkmodel dishes on why Sonja’s handling of her model casting was extremely inappropriate, how proud she is of ‘Pop of Color’ launching, and how the housewives were ultimately “all blown away” at Sonja’s successful fashion show.
As for Sonja’smodel casting, to which Bethenny Frankel and Heather Thomson were summoned, Kristen remarks, “I really do not understand why whenever someone is invited to anything with Sonja, they have no idea what they are in for. I would have to agree with Bethenny that a model casting was a waste of her time. Heather was a perfect fit for that since she does model castings all the time. But I must say, how on earth can you do a model casting without seeing the clothing? Hmmmm. Maybe I’m missing something.”
Carole Radziwill is back in the USA after nearly being arrested by TSA for smuggling undeclared Clarins hand cream through security. The urn “which looked like a bomb” (from the Hindenburg era) bearing her late husband’s ashes – oh that was fine, thanks to Dorinda Medley‘s giant fur coat which happily ensconced the precious cargo. Things you learn from Housewives: always pack giant fur coats when attempting to smuggle goods through TSA.
Heather Thomson, ever the supportive friend to all, is happy to hear that not only was Carole’s trip a success in finding closure, but that Anthony’s return has finally completed the design scheme in Carole’s remodeled apartment. Hi honey, I’m home!
Our favorite reality TV stars cannot get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to social media to share even more of their lives with us. And we would not have it any other way. Here’s a roundup of some of our favorite snapshots and selfies from this week. Enjoy.
Starting with the scenes of Carole Radziwill retrieving her late husband Anthony’surn, Kristen confesses she was emotional. She shares, “I was crying while watching this. She is not a hugger and very rarely cries. I was happy that she was able to have this time to feel these emotions. Sometimes I think that letting it all out is the best way to move on from grief and pain. Dorinda [Medley] was the perfect partner to share all of this with.”
Reality stars were out and about again this week, attending events and running errands from coast to coast. Above: Former Real Housewives of Miami star Joanna Krupapromotes the adoption of dogs for Polish TV station TVN.
Ramona Singer and Andy Cohen were spotted in NYC leaving the studio after Tuesday night’s episode of WWHL. In another part of NY, Kristen and Josh Taekman attended the All Star Code’s second annual summer benefit in East Hampton. The event raised more than $600,000 for the tech education non-profit.
Kris Jenner, her boyfriend Corey Gamble, and her family went to the Pantages theater together, along with the newly single Kourtney Kardashian. The also-single Scott Disick was in Vegas to make an appearance in Vegas.

Beginning with kind words for the ladies in London, Bethenny reflects, “It was a bittersweet journey for Carole and Dorinda in London. I’m glad they were able to get through it together and be stronger because of it.” But, “While the ladies were away, the crazies certainly did play. I laugh out loud watching Ramona and Sonja recap the trip. Ramona is attempting to convince Sonja that she wasn’t kissing anyone and Sonja is saying “I see,” aka bullsh–. Ramona hides onto a bullsh– lie until it is on its last legs dying and begging for mercy.”
Last night on Real Housewives Of New York tears were cried, laughs were laughed, and friendships formed in the most unlikely of circumstances. It was nice.
Carole Radziwill and Dorinda Medley have arrived in London and their hotel rooms are enormous. Also, Dorinda has suddenly become “Doris,” but pleasantly she’s swapped aggressive martini-fueled meltdowns for good-natured girl talk and tea.
Carole visits the church temporarily holding Anthony’s ashes. It’s been 15-years since Carole has seen the urn bearing her late husband’s remains and she’s understandably anxious. The church: small, quaint and modern, is quite different from the place where Anthony was originally interned. Carole shares that her late husband was the ultimate practical joker and the traveling urn with Carole receiving the email that it was moved would have made him laugh. That’s a poignant and fun touch.
Tonight’s Watch What Happens Live guests were Ramona Singer and actor Michael Rapaport, who happens to be a true blue Housewives SUPER fan.
Andy gives Michael thirty seconds to ask anything he wants. He asks Andy which Househusband would he like to sleep with (or run laps with, as Michael calls it), he answers with Apollo Nida without missing a beat. On what reunion confrontation he worried about the most, he says Teresa Giudice and Danielle Staub at the season 2 Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion.
