The latest episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta brought us some awkward sex talks and a slightly uncomfortable scene involving the always classy Phaedra and some pickles.

With the said, let’s get right to the recap! The episode begins with Kim Zolciak being yet again late to another event. This event in particular is Kandi’s web talk show titled Kandi Coated Nights! Following yet another scene with Kim berating her assistant Sweetie, she finally finds her way to Kandi’s studio, and the topic of conversation is Cheating! Something Kim knows an awful lot about despite trying to pretend her relationship with the still married Big Poppa has no cheating element to it.

“I only know what Papa tells me,” is Kim’s argument. Perhaps Kim should invest some time in using the google search engine as a quick search on Big Poppa will clearly let her know he is still married and living with his wife and kids.

Preview The Real Housewives of Atlanta Episode 5!

An all new episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta tonight titled ‘Hot Mama’s Day.’

On the 5th episode this season, Kim is a guest on Kandi’s web chat show during which she discusses cheating; NeNe makes a plastic surgery revelation to Cynthia; Sheree has a good time on a date while Phaedra decides to do a pregnant photo shoot. And the ladies decide to celebrate Mother’s Day with a meal, dishing on sex and NeNe’s marital dramas.

Also, a special episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen is slated to air tonight. The guests will include Patti Labelle and Kandi Burruss.

In other Atlanta news, Phaedra Parks did a new interview with Zap2It during which she discussed joining the show and once again defended her decision to marry her husband Apollo Nida. Excerpts below -

Phaedra On Joining The Show – “At the time, I really didn’t know, because it wasn’t always well-spoken of in Atlanta to be very honest with you,” said Phaedra. “I’ve done reality TV a few times, so I’m pretty familiar with it. At the end of the day I understand that what makes for good TV are sensational events and drama and cattiness and some of this other foolishness sometimes. And that’s just part of the madness of TV, and particularly reality TV.”

On Her Husband Apollo - “At the end of the day, you have to realize I married him,” Phaedra said. “He doesn’t have to sleep with anyone except for me. No one has to be bothered with him except for me. So, why is it anyone else’s concern?”

It’s a wedding! It’s a circus! Oh, it’s just the ridonkulous “Southern Baby Shower” of Phaedra Parks on the Real Housewives of Atlanta episode 4.

The episode starts out with Nene Leakes paying a visit to her plastic surgeon with her BFF Diana, whom we’ve never seen on the show before. Nene is determined to get her happy back, and what better way to do that than with new boobs, a new nose and a new stomach. Oddly enough, Nene doesn’t discuss a nose job with the Surgeon though she does hint to the doctor that she might decide to do something else on the day of the surgery.

Preview The Real Housewives of Atlanta Episode 4! Moves To Sunday Nights!

An all new episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta coming tonight!

On the 4th episode this season, titled ‘Petty Boughetto,’ Cynthia and her boyfriend Peter join Phaedra and Dwight for a day at the Steeple Chase, but before they can even arrive, Cynthia and Peter are put on the spot on the future of their relationship.

And it is a true down south, ladies-who-lunch celebration when the day of Phaedra’s baby shower finally arrives! But when some of the other ‘wives continue to chatter about Phaedra’s less-than-perfect father-to-be, will it spoil the special day? Also, former housewife Lisa Wu Hartwell makes a special appearance at Phaedra’s baby shower.

We will also get to see Nene Leakes as she undergoes her nose job. The new episode airs tonight at 9/8c on Bravo.

In other Atlanta news, Bravo announced today that starting November 7, the Real Housewives of Atlanta will move to Sunday nights at 10/9c. Watch What Happens Live will also be making the move to Sunday. No reason was given for the change in schedule.

Preview The Real Housewives of Atlanta! Plus Nene Furious With Gregg?

An all new episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta coming our way at 9/8c tonight on Bravo.

On the third episode of the season, titled ‘White Hot,’ Kim receives the opportunity of a lifetime when she is invited to perform at one of the biggest gay circuit parties – the White Party. But only having “Tardy for the Party” under her repertoire, is Kim ready for her first concert appearance?

Meanwhile NeNe continues to struggle with her son Brice’s brush with the law, and new housewife Phaedra continues to defend her husband Apollo and his shady, criminal past amidst rumors around town. But when it seems that Phaedra and Apollo don’t exactly see eye to eye when it comes to parenting, how will this affect their relationship? Find out tonight!

In other Atlanta news, RadarOnline is reporting that Nene Leakes’ marriage to hubby Gregg Leakes continues to be strained. The latest is that Nene is very furious at Gregg all over the money he reportedly borrowed from Dwight Eubanks.

Despite Gregg’s denials on the show that he only borrowed $500 from Dwight, a source tells Radar that Gregg did indeed borrow $10,000. “Gregg lied to NeNe because he did get a $10,000 loan from Dwight and now she is really pi**ed at him.”

The source adds, “Money is a sensitive issue between them and NeNe cannot believe that Gregg would lie to her. She feels it has put her in an awkward position with Dwight because they are really good friends who confide in one another both on and off camera.”

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Episode 2 Recap: Emotions

Following a dramatic premiere episode, we are now onto week 2 of the Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Episode 2 starts out with Kim Zolciak and her assistant Sweetie going for a beer run or walk or something. One hit wonder Pop star Kimmy feels she needs to look great, you know, considering she is a big pop star and all now. The two end their run by re-hydrating with a beer.

We see a very pregnant Phaedra at her workplace. The attorney is meeting up with a non-celebrity client of hers who was arrested for marijuana possession, and no, it is not Nene’s son Bryson, just in case you were wondering. “Unfortunately, 1 in 3 black men will be indicted for a felony and do some prison time. Instead of us punishing people who have obviously served their time, we really need to embrace them so that they don’t have to go back into crime,” states Phaedra, who is obviously doing her part by marrying an ex-con shortly after his release.

Preview The Real Housewives of Atlanta Episode 2!

Following the drama filled premiere episode last week, the Real Housewives of Atlanta return tonight with episode 2.

On tonight’s episode, titled ‘Model Behavior,’ the other housewives discover that Phaedra‘s husband Apollo served over 5 years in prison. They quickly began to speculate and wonder how a lawyer ended up with an ex-con.

On Nene’s home front, things get even rockier as her son Bryson asks to come back following one of his arrests for drug possession. Meanwhile, following her fight with Dwight, Nene runs into him at a public event and attempts to talk to him using a much calmer approach. Will Dwight give Nene the time of the day? Will they be able to resolve their issues? Find out tonight at 9/8c on Bravo.

Also on tonight’s episode, the other new housewife, Cynthia Bailey, will make her debut. In an interview with the HollywoodLife, Cynthia sings the praises of Nene Leakes but questions Kim Zolciak’s authenticity.

“I didn’t see it coming because she is so bigger than life, but NeNe was the most real person on the show,” she says. “I felt like she was consistent and proved herself to be a friend.” And when it comes to Kim bisexuality, Cynthia has some doubts. “She puts it out there and then doesn’t want to talk about it,” she says. “I will say for the most part I think Kim will do whatever she needs to do to stay relevant.”

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Episode 1 Recap!

So typically, the plan is to wait a few weeks into a Housewives season before doing weekly recaps, but within 10 minutes of watching the Real Housewives of Atlanta season 3 premiere last night, I knew a recap was coming today.

The season premiere definitely did not disappoint. It brought the drama as well as some highlarious great one-liners. “I’ve been chasing dick since I came out of the womb” anyone? Priceless.

My only pet peeve with the Atlanta ladies is that last night’s episode just seemed o what’s that word I’m looking for — phony! From watching the show, it is rather obvious that the ladies are very aware of the cameras and are definitely playing things up while getting into their characters. Example – Sheree’s comment about winning an Oscar one day. It just seemed like she was playing into the whole narcissism aspect of her character. I wasn’t buying it nor do I believe she really feels that way, nor do I think she has a new found passion for acting. I believe the ladies are turning things up a notch this season as not to get the Lisa Wu Hartwell treatment.
