It felt so random and honestly contrived when Kim Zolciak and Kenya Moore started throwing shade and screaming at each other during Sheree Whitfield’s housewarming party last season on Real Housewives of Atlanta. I had no idea they knew each other, let alone had beef. They were only on one season of RHOAtogether and they barely interacted.
Kim didn’t even finish out the whole season. She stormed out from a group lunch and off of the show. Nevertheless, they are pushing this feud for a story line and no one can get over the moment in the Season 10 trailer where Kenya tells Kim, “Worry about pimping your daughter out, bitch!” Damn.
Lawrence Washington aka “Miss Lawrence” made men’s heels fashionable on The Real Housewives of Atlanta as hair stylist to Sheree Whitfield, and shade-thrower to many. But his talents don’t end there. Some may recall Lawrence’s incredible pipes – a singing voice that got him noticed by friend and music producer, Kandi Burruss. Though Lawrence didn’t ultimately sign with Kandi’s production company, he did go on to parlay his powerful voice (and acting chops) into a role on Fox’s series, Star, as recurring character “Miss Bruce.”
This doesn’t mean he severed connections with the women of RHOA though. When Miss Lawrence stopped by the Jenny McCarthy Show on SiriusXM, he had plenty to say about the series that got him noticed, and the women who continue to do battle on it. Specifically, Lawrence tells Jenny why he didn’t sign with Kandi, how he thinks Kenya Moore’s marriage is legit, and why he feels like the women of RHOA have culturally appropriated the terms “shade” and “read” from the LGBTQ community.
Andy plays a clip for Kim that shows Queen Latifah saying she thinks Kim restrained herself on Real Housewives of Atlanta. So Andy asks “Were you restraining yourself?” Kim says “I think, first of all, there’s a difference of ‘what are we talking about?’ and a lot of times the stuff Dana and I..when you’re making a TV show and talking about that and your careers and everything, it’s kind of different than somebody ripping you apart over a he said/she said. You’re trying to be real. It’s like mmm whatever.”
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss had a lot to smile about this weekend! The reality star, singer, restaurant owner, and songwriter (among the many other hats she wears) was photographed at Revel in Atlanta, where she was showing off her newest achievement: being chosen as the ESSENCE magazine cover feature for October!
Is it November 5 yet? It’s going to be tough holding out that long for the Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 10 premiere episode, but it looks like it’s going to be worth the wait. The trailer was just released and I am just shook. OG cast members NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak are back in the mix and they are not playing around.
Even though Jennifer Lawrence is an Academy Award winning actress, she is a Bravo viewer just like the rest of us. Well, she’s just like the rest of us if we all had Andy Cohen’s phone number saved in our contacts.
Not only does Jennifer watch all the same Bravo shows as the rest of us, but she actually gets the opportunity to share her feedback with Andy about Real Housewives. Does she actually have a say in what goes down in the franchise? Andy and NeNe Leakes open up about JLaw’s Housewives fandom.
After pulling the most horrible move in Real Housewives history, it is pretty much a given that the franchise is done with Phaedra Parks. Right? She started rumors that Kandi Burruss wanted to drug and rape Porsha Williams and let the gossip build for months. There’s no way she could be back on Real Housewives of Atlanta after doing that. Right?
There have been rumors that Phaedra was asked to film an “apology” scene with her former bestie Porsha. Obviously, Kandi never wants to see or speak to Phaedra again, but it would be pretty crazy if Porsha wants to. After all, Phaedra set her up to go after Kandi for months. Is Phaedra going to appear on the next season?
