Real Housewives of Atlanta

Real Housewives of Atlanta recap

Well, Real Housewives Of Atlanta went low quick. Like lower than the dip in Kenya Moore‘s hellish driveway!

Last night the ladies were throwing out the dirty buttermilk on each other. So, turn your prayer cloth into a strainer and start diluting that crud with holy water before you serve it up with biscuits! (That made no sense, but it sounds Phaedra Parks -ian).

Things begin at Moore Manor where Kenya is hosting a housewarming party. I know, I know… whoever heard of a housewarming party for an unfinished house? But even worse – whoever heard of a housewarming party for the ghosts of one’s past in the form of unwelcome guests. Unless of course you’re related to the Addams’s Family or Ebenezer Scrooge.

Sandra Bernhard and Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore were the guests tonight on Watch What Happens Live. Kenya defends Matt Jordan‘s angry outbursts as simple “immaturity” and also attempts to say one nice thing about Porsha Williams.

Kenya on the baseboard debate. “I have baseboards. I have a modern home. I don’t have trim around the doors, it’s a clean finish.”

On her relationship status with Matt: “We’re working on our relationship. I’ve learned a lot throughout the year about myself and definitely we’re working on it.”  She says he isn’t living at Moore Manor with her.

Porsha Crashes Kenya's Housewarming Party

One might think Kenya Moore is savvy enough to have SECURITY! at her Moore Manor Housewarming party, but considering that she barely has a front door, maybe that’s expecting too much? As a result Porsha Williams scurried herself through the entryway and crashed the party!

On tonight’s episode of Real Housewives Of Atlanta, the public opening of Moore Manor rages on but Kenya is forced to abandon her select THOT-free guests to confront Porsha on her THOT-less arrival. (see what I did there?! HA). Of course, Porsha isn’t the only unwelcome guest…

Kenya Moore throws shade at Sheree Whitfield

Kenya Moore believes Sheree Whitfield is jealous and embarrassed that Moore Manor rose to the occasion first, and that Kenya’s accomplishment is completely self-made.

“I thought Sheree would be happy to see how far I’ve come, but all she was capable of doing was tearing it down,” complains the Real Housewives Of Atlanta star.

Kandi and Todd potty train Ace

There are two plot points that have been heavily discussed on Real Housewives of Atlanta way before they actually came to fruition. One of those is Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker trying to have a baby. In another category completely, there’s the construction of Kenya Moore’s house, which she aptly named Moore Manor. Kandi discussed adjusting to a new baby and shared her impression of Kenya’s crib after she went to the housewarming in this season’s first episode.

Kandi is probably the only housewife who can get away with being nice while actually entertaining the audience. So I can’t help wondering what she thought about Kenya’s housewarming party – in a house that was not finished. Then, as far as the baby goes, I feel like Kandi is always busy with a million things, so I’m curious about how her life has adjusted since the budding entrepreneur Ace Wells Tucker was born.

Cynthia visits a divorce attorney

This season of Real Housewives of Atlanta is going to be a tough one for Cynthia Bailey. We saw Cynthia meeting with a divorce lawyer during the very first episode of the season, and now that it is all filmed, she is going to have to live through this divorce process all over again when the episodes air.

Yes, there has been trouble brewing for a long time with Cynthia and Peter Thomas, but it still is a big difference between having issues in a marriage and going through the steps to make a divorce happen. I can’t help wondering how Cynthia is feeling these days.

Moore Manor Housewarming Party

The ladies on the Real Housewives of Atlanta are the best shade throwers in the whole Real Housewives franchise. I would never want to mess with or compete with any of these ladies, but I absolutely live for it when they feud with each other.

Case in point, Kenya Moore and Sheree Whitfield have been feuding over the construction of their homes for what feels like forever. It seems like a dumb thing to argue about (at least in my opinion), but the tension is far from over for these two even though the season finished filming. Kenya is throwing shade at Sheree about her house and her finances.

Phaedra celebrates almost being divorced

Now that Phaedra Parks is finally divorced from the currently incarcerated Apollo Nida, the fans want to know if she’s dating anyone special. Everyone who watches Real Housewives of Atlanta knows that these two were not exactly in a good place before Apollo went to prison and the fact that he will be locked up for years is definitely going to help matters, so we all saw this one coming. As far as I can tell, Phaedra doesn’t have a boyfriend, but she has revealed what she’s looking for in a new man.

Phaedra has been very adamant about waiting until she’s officially (legally) single before dating again which is admirable. Not only that, but her life is so public since she’s a reality star so I don’t blame her to taking her time before she is ready to bring someone new into the picture. Plus, Phaedra has two young sons who I’m sure play a very important factor in her dating decisions.
