Real Housewives of Atlanta’sKandi Burruss is hopping mad at co-starPhaedra Parks and did not mince words when she responded via Instagram and Twitter to some incendiary comments made by the attorney against her husband Todd Tucker. The Tuckers, who maintained a close relationship with Phaedra and her now incarcerated husband Apollo Nida have gravitated away from their once tight bond and all over a dispute surrounding the almighty dollar.
Apparently Todd, who is a television production manager, felt he was owed the remaining balance of $8,000 for a pregnancy video he worked on for Phaedra before Apollo’s imprisonment. Todd claims Phaedra never paid him in full and Phaedra insisted that he not only never completed the project but felt she did not owe him any more monies. Well the pair finally got together on last night’s RHOA episode to iron out any misunderstandings. Well after discussing the project and budget, Todd agreed to complete his part and Phaedra agreed, she would in turn, hand over a check to him but implied as an aside, that this will happen whenever she got around to it.
Over at Kandi Koated Kattiness Factory, Shamea Morton arrives with her Firkin tail between her legs after being caught by Don Juan gossiping at the video release party. Don Juan and Carmon stand watch while Shamea tries to explain what happened. Like no one was talking loud enough for so-called ‘bloggers’ to overhear their conversation until Don Juan inserted his extra fried crispy into the mess.
Don Juan cannot accept this. Don Juan has his Diva Cup inserted deep, spouts off about Porsha Williams being so stupid she doesn’t know what gossip is. Oh, I think that may be one of the only things Porsha does know!
About the status of her marriage,Cynthia shares, “One day at a time… we did just celebrate our five-year anniversary. It feels more like 20 years because we got married on the show. I feel like we’re super super married because we were married in real life, we were married on TV, we’re very married.”
The Real Housewives Of Atlanta star is planning to divorce Apollo while he is behind bars serving an 8 year sentence for fraud, even though she still has feelings for him. “I still love my husband, and I’ll always love him,” revealed Phaedra. “He’s the father of my children, and something great came from our union.”
Phaedra vows, “This has not tainted my view on love.”
TMZ is accepting collect calls from Federal Inmate Apollo Nida. Apollo answered questions about the status of his marriage (or rather, his divorce) from Phaedra Parks, staying in touch with his children, and relocating prisons. Apparently the new prison has better “ambiance”. Oh my…
Recently Apollo agreed with his Real Housewives Of Atlanta star wife that prison is no place for The Prince and Mr. President to visit. Now he’s changed his opinion.“For my own mental sanity, I tried to kind of recognize where she [Phaedra] was coming from, but I never agreed on the fact that I did not want to see my children.”
“Peter is very romantic and always goes out of his way to make our special moments together memorable,” gushed Cynthia. “I especially loved our “lunch in the park” date because although it was well thought out, it was really sweet and simple. As a matter of fact (after being married for five years), this was one of my favorite dates. Spending quality time together does not always require all the bells and whistles. Sometimes less is so much more.”
Reality star alum and actress NeNe Leakeswill get to add some fabulosity to this year’s NBC-TV’s annual new year’s eve festivities. The diva will hobnob with the likes of Carson Daly as part of a comedy panel he hosts, “New Year’s Eve With Carson Daly” that will take place at New York City’s famed Times Square according to US Weekly.
NeNe, who after seven seasons, left the reality show that helped put her name up in lights, “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” grew tired of the negativity that seemed to take over the show. While Nene was a ‘housewife’ and thereafter, she has always maintained a pretty hectic career schedule. She had a recurrent role on the defunct sitcom “Glee,” was a series regular on NBC-TV’s “The New Normal,” acted in a couple of Broadway productions, was a contestant on “Dancing With the Stars,” and will even be a judge on the upcoming ABC-TV revival 1950’s game show “To Tell the Truth.” In addition to performing, NeNe also manages to oversee her fashion line, The Nene Leakes Collection for the Home Shopping Network and there is also a jewelry line as well.
Former Real Housewives of Atlanta could-have-been-regular cast memberAmiyah Scott was supposed to be a fixture on the Bravo hit reality show but was reportedly, so put off by the producer’s antics, she called it quits. Despite all of the show’s fanfare and praise for featuring Amiyah, as its first transgender cast member in the franchise, she refused to be the stereotype that the show’s producers wanted her to portray according to TMZ.
Amiyah had actually made the one month of filming mark on RHOA. When the show’s plots smacked of devious underpinnings like producers wanting to sexualize Amiyah and have her act “like a vixen” which was not in her character, her patience grew thin. The news outletthen claims, the actress went on to reveal how producers wanted to make her look like the “bitch of the cast,” when she instead strived to become a transgender role model.
