Oh lawd. Sexting co-stars is the last thing Apollo Nida is worried about this week! The Real Housewives of Atlanta star was reportedly charged with bank fraud and identity theft and has surrendered to the U.S. Marshals.
According to Sandra Rose, "Nida appeared in front of US District Judge Brill yesterday and he was granted a pretrial bond. This is significant because he is currently on state parole in Georgia, and due to the seriousness of his crime the charges usually trigger a state parole violation unless he is cooperating with the government. "
The story is developing and the court documents site is down, naturally. So, we'll keep you posted as anything new pops up.
Mary suspected something was shady about Apollo's secret little backpack…. Kenya Moore just popped a batch of Jiffy Pop and is refreshing the internet every three seconds as we speak.
Before we head off to bed for a few hours, we found a few other snippets online, but haven't had time to really look into it more. And will hold off until we get a chance to see the court documents (hopefully tomorrow).
First the Real Housewives of Atlanta star wrote, co-directed, and produced a play (possibly heading to broadway soon!) called A Mother's Love about dealing with mamas who do not support their daughter's choices and now Kandi wrote a new song called "Let Them Love".
Kandi's song is now available on iTunes and it's really good!
In other Kandi business, interestingly she shares a stylist with former friend, whom she is now suing, Kim Zolciak! Kandi has recently been posting photos of Shun Melson (who also regularly appears on Don't Be Tardy) styling her for various events – including a recent appearance on Bethenny and for promoting her new song. Hmmm… Hmmmmm… what do we make of this?
On Sunday,Real Housewives of Atlanta logged 3.695 million viewers. That's down from last week's 4.187 million but enough to make RHOA the top cable telecast (ratings wise) of the night. Not at the top? Keeping Up with the Kardashians! Season nine premiered to 2.569 million on Sunday and 2.142 on Monday. Ouch! Sister Wives saw a significant drop (2.0 to 1.44) this week.
On Tuesday, Teen Mom 2 returned for its fifth season, to the dismay of many Reality Tea readers. However the show garnered 2.756 million viewers and was the top cable telecast (ratings wise) of the night. Also, Dance Moms was watched by 2.010 million, and Shahs of Sunset saw its second lowest number of the season with 1.054 million.
Although married only three-years, the couple's sex life is lacking because of Cynthia's stress and health issues so Peter wants to have a secret mancave across town while Cynthia works to pay his bankrupt bills and poor business schemes. Sounds like a marriage worth saving!
Well things are getting even rockier for the couple! At a Golden Globes party at 1Oak Peter was spotted twerking with a young hottie who certainly wasn't his wife! Or Kenya Moore.
All jokes about Casa de Eviction aside, Porsha Stewart literally cannot (or will not) pay her bills!
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, who rented a massive 8000 square foot house this season, owned a condo before she married Kordell. That condo was reportedly foreclosed on for non-payment but Porsha still did not settle outstanding homeowner's debts and is now in legal hot water!
TMZ saysPorsha fell majorly behind on her homeowner's dues to the tune of $17,959 and the homeowner's association has filed legal documents seeking their money.
Kenya Moore and her massive cleavage twirled on over to Arsenio Hall's couch tonight to chat about the scandals so far this season – everything from textgate to babies and even stupid women.
Arsenio gave Kenya a chance to explain her side of the texting scandal with Apollo Nida. She shared that Apollo had no chance with her because she has no interest in any part of a married man. But Kenya made it clear that this particular married man may feel differently about cheating. "We all know his reputation around Atlanta – he likes his extra-curricular activities.."
She shared how things really went down, "After we didn't work together, because they didn't want to pay me, me and his wife (Phaedra Parks) fell out. Months later he sent me a text and it was a friendly text, but he initiated that text, I want to be perfectly clear. However, when I responded, even though it was chaste, that opened the door for all the other B.S. that they're now spreading about me. Saying I met him in L.A. That never happened. I've never seen him outside of the Real Housewives of Atlanta taping. Ever. So that's a complete lie."
This week Kenya is calling out NeNe Leakes for her nosy ways and insinuates that she's a liar. Krayonce also goes in on Cynthia Bailey for not sticking up for her with Natalie, espeially after proving she's a loyal friend.
She kicks it off nice and then goes straight for the cray. "Happy anniversary Cynthia and Peter! Peter always manages to make grand sweeping romantic gestures that any woman can appreciate. I found it odd that Cynthia manages to find random chicks and call them her friends. I found Natalie to have an agenda when she was speaking so negatively about Todd. I’ve worked with Christopher Williams, (Natalie’s common law husband) on a play called “Gossip, Lies, and Secrets” years ago. There was more drama behind the scenes than on the stage. During that time, he told many of the cast that he was not married but they consider themselves “common law” married. Meaning…they lived off and on as husband and wife but never walked down an aisle nor had any legal ceremony."
