As irritating as Dorit Kemsley has been this season on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she is the driving force behind almost every interesting story line. I have no idea why she would try so hard to stir the pot since it really isn’t a good look for her, but apparently she doesn’t even care. Ultimately, I bet that none of the other cast members are too bothered by it since anyone she offends always ends up on the “right” side of history and curries favor with the viewers.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
Alright so this is a cold day in hell because last night’s Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills had me feeling sorry for Kyle Richards. I was also Lisa Rinna bellowing across a bar “What happened?!” cause seriously I’d like to know how we got to the hot mess express and threw Kyle under?! Also, I am warning you: I have nothing nice to say about Dorit Kemsley.
The ladies are in NYC for Fashion Week and because Dorit has achieved the meteoric accomplishment of landing the cover of a magazine no one would’ve heard about were it not for Lisa Vanderpump previously landing a cover there. If you recall when LVP had her Bella Magazine party it ignited apology-gate with Eileen Davidson, and after Kyle and Dorit’s disastrous issues last night, it appears to me that Bella Magazine is bad luck for Real Housewives. It is better to be cover-less than covered in bad friendships!
These days, Kyle Richards is the major reality TV star in her family, but long before her debut on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle’s niece Paris Hilton was the queen of reality TV. Kyle used to name drop her famous nieces Paris and Nicky Hilton during her early seasons, but now she is a major name herself as one of the most likable Housewives.
Kyle took her daughters Sophia and Alexia Umansky to New York City to celebrate Paris Hilton’s birthday and I wish the family bonding was filmed for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, or better yet, a separate reality show that I’ve been dreaming with a focus on Kyle and her famous family. Yes, I know that Kyle already has a scripted show in the works that is “loosely based” on her childhood, but a reality show with her sisters Kathy Hilton, Kim Richards, and all their children is a show that I would love to watch. Unfortunately, no one is picking up what I’m laying down, but the famous family did document some fun times together this past week for Paris’ birthday.
Thanks to Valentine’s Day, there were a lot of reality TV stars posting on social media this week. From the couples photos, to the proud single ladies, to the mother/daughter valentines, there were a lot of sweet photos to choose from for this week’s edition of Instagram Roundup.
As a faithful viewer of both Vanderpump Rules and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, I just cannot decide how I feel about Lisa Vanderpump. Watching Vanderpump Rules, I want to start bartending so Lisa can adopt me and take me under her wing with a restaurant named in my honor. When Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is on the next night, I’m scared of falling victim to secondhand manipulation while I sit on my couch at home. It is essentially a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde situation.
To add to my confusion, the woman who stormed out of a lunch because she felt ignored while Dorit Kemsley comforted Kyle Richards while she was crying is the same person who is an avid philanthropist and LGBT advocate. It’s just so tough to reconcile my thoughts when it comes to Lisa Vanderpump, yet I will never turn away from any of her shows and I have seen every single episode. Multiple times.
During the last episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Dorit Kemsley broke the news to Erika Girardi that the rest of the cast started talk shit about her as soon as she left Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave’s beach house. In all honesty, the shit talking isn’t news, but Erika was not going to stand for it.
The women took issue with Erika after she picked a room to sleep in at the beach house, but didn’t end up staying over. It was Erika’s time of the month and she wanted to deal with that privately. When she returned in the morning, the women accused Erika of having this all planned out and Kyle Richards referred to her behavior as “weird” multiple times.
The Camille Grammer that we “met” during Season 1 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is back on our television screens. Well, at least the aspects that made for amazing TV. She’s left the negative attributes in the past. This time around, Camille is on the right side of history (i.e. putting Dorit Kemsley in check) and it is everything.
Camille is back on her game and new cast member Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave is adjusting to the Housewife life. They both joined Andy Cohen in the clubhouse to discuss all of the latest Beverly Hills drama during their joint appearance on Watch What Happens Live.
Erika Jayne‘s odd actions at Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave‘s weekend beach getaway has left everyone scratching their heads. Teddi tries to explain a little of what we didn’t see on last night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Teddi attempts to shed light on Erika leaving the house and heading off to a hotel and shares her REAL issue, “the beach house and the mysterious disappearance of Erika Jayne. It was weird; I stand by that. I completely empathize with Erika as I’m sure women everywhere watching do; I can see why she’d prefer to not stay up until 2AM getting tipsy and humping my picnic table.” But Teddi then shares what we DIDN’T see on the show. “What we later discovered that night— and what you didn’t see—was that her assistant had already driven to Dana Point separately and got a hotel room for her. Again, I didn’t have a problem with her leaving to stay in a hotel—I offered that option when I invited everyone. The issue is why spend the day pretending you’re going to stay over, but as soon as the camera crew leaves you have your assistant come pick you up?”
