I hate to admit this, but Dorit Kemsley is carrying this season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hillson her back. If Dorit wasn’t around, we would be subjected to a show about glam squads, home renovations, and endless self-promotion. As irritating as Dorit can be, especially when she’s coming for my beloved Camille Grammer, she is the only one bringing the drama.
Obviously Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave is not a fan of Dorit’s and I don’t blame her, but hopefully on some level she is grateful for Dorit giving her a story line and an opportunity to get the viewers on her side.
Even though Dorit called Camille a “c**t” for no reason, told Camille that she would give her a strap-on, and gave Erika Girardipanties as a gag gift last season, Dorit did not find it at all funny when Camille gave her a ball gag during the last episode. Apparently those who dish it out, cannot take it.
Maybe time does heal all wounds. She even made her way to the clubhouse for an episode of Watch What Happens Live. They did not actually discuss the possibility of bringing Brandi back as a Real Housewife, I’m still hoping for it since she makes a point to be up to date on all of the latest drama in Beverly Hills.
On last night’s episode of Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills people were celebrating all sorts of things and this required lingerie shopping, candles that looked like cupcakes, and wearing giant garbage bags to take naps in. The biggest news, however, was that based upon the strength of her perfect gift-giving, Lisa Vanderpump chose a new court favorite. Teddi Bear Mellencamp Arroyave – you have arrived! Elevated to the premiere spot as Lisa’s mean girl in waiting. Meanwhile it was off with Dorit Kemsley‘s head! Or at least one of her ridiculous hairstyles.
Somehow I think Teddi will learn from Kyle Richards and Dorit, and won’t make the mistake of double-crossing Lisa… Doing all she can to stay in good graces. After all, Teddi is all about accountability and we finally got a glimpse of what that entails. Essentially Teddi is a diet and exercise baby-sitter. Rich people will buy anything!
Aside from getting dragged into arguments about glassware and hotel stays, the viewers really haven’t had the chance to “get to know” Teddi Mellencamp Arroyaveon Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this year. There have been the gratuitous interrogations about what it was like for her to grow up as John Mellencamp’s daughter, but she hasn’t had a lot of spotlight on her own personal life.
That might not have anything to do with the story lines or editing. Even Teddi herself admits that she just wasn’t herself while she was filming this season.
We don’t get to see too much of Kyle Richards’family life on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but her youngest daughter Portia Umansky has given Milania Giudice a run for her money as the scene-stealer of the west coast. Get ready to feel old: Portia just turned TEN.
Kyle, her husband Mauricio Umansky, their daughter Sophia, and some friends all got together to celebrate Portia’s tenth birthday at Disneyland in California.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills viewers are very familiar with Brandi Glanville’s high profile divorce and co-parenting struggles. I’m going to spare you all and not rehash the details for the 9747474th time.
That’s why it really wasn’t shocking when she was the only on on the celebrity edition of Big Brother who did not get a video message from a family member. However, it was kind of surprising, yet very sweet when the king of Bravo himself Andy Cohencame through with a message of encouragement for Brandi. Maybe this is means that she is one step closer to her Housewives comeback?
It was pretty unexpected for Lisa Vanderpumpto fall out with Dorit Kemsley. Sure Dorit told everyone in the cast that LVP was insecure because her mother didn’t say “I love you,” but Lisa still wanted to jump in a cab with her after Kyle Richards stood up to Dorit on her behalf. It seemed like Dorit could do no wrong in Lisa’s eyes. It felt like Dorit had something on Lisa or that Lisa just didn’t want to lose a loyal soldier who’s more than willing to stir the pot for the sake of the show.
When Lisa told Dorit, she loves her “mainly on the strength of loving [her] husband,” it was pretty shocking because who loves PK Kemsleythat much? What is Lisa going to miss out on in life if there’s a strain in her relationship with PK? It’s not like she couldn’t buy tickets to a Boy George concert on her own. Does she really want to spend the rest of her life waiting for Dorit to show up for drinks?
