Ok – so this morning I made a trip down to Anderson Live where I was the guest live-blogger of the day. Which is awesome. Kellie Pickler, who is cute as a button and sweet as tea, was the co-host with Anderson. She could not be more adorable, more gracious, or more kind to the fans.
Kellie spent every break walking around the audience engaging with people, talking about life, and just being awesome. I snagged a super secret photo of her being sweet and that is below. Shhh…don't tell Anderson's producers. #instagram
Also, Kellie is itty-bitty in real-life and she proudly displayed her newly shaved head, which looks fantastic (and she does have a perfectly round head). She seems 100% genuine and down-to-earth. Unlike some of Anderson's reality star guests who I'll get to in a minute.
So, now for the news you've all been waiting for: Teresa Giudice! As you know she was the other guest. And since Real Housewives of New Jersey has dominated my life for what has now been the last six months I was super SUPER excited to meet the lady, the myth, the legend in the flesh.
Can I just say, I'm watching Anderson Live, and that interview certainly didn't go as Teresa Giudice planned. If looks could kill, Kellie Pickler would be performing CPR on poor Anderson Cooper right now. Wow. It's not Teresa's morning, and unfortunately for her, I have some more bad press for her, courtesy of sister-in-law Melissa Gorga. These women of Real Housewives of New Jersey love to give an interview, don't they? I really can't believe they don't get along seeing as how much they have in common.
In light of stripper-gate, Melissa is making sure we remember just how mean Teresa is (we get it, we get it!). This time around she's talking about the "roughing up" that happened at poor G-to-the-IA Giudice's birthday party. I mean, these poor, poor kids. Shame on these ladies!
As you all know last week Reality Tea writer Mary was given the awesome opportunity to live-tweet on Anderson Live. Well we must have done something right because Reality Tea has been asked back for tomorrow's show!
Mary is representing Reality Tea as "Anderson Live's Blogger of the Day". And that's not all – on tomorrow's episode one of the guests will be none other than Real Housewives of New Jersey's most notorious: Teresa Giudice! Ooohhh… we're all excited like!
So that means OUR Mary gets to see The Tre in the flesh! With all the pressure to look jersified enough for the Jersey Queen (sorry Snooki!) Miss Mary needs your help picking her shoes. She won't be wearing a bedazzled Flash Dance throwback dress, but she will be rocking some serious footwear. So take the poll below to help Mary decide!
Our favorite reality TV stars can’t get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to Twitter to give us an hourly play-by-play of their lives. And we love them for it! Here’s a roundup of some of our favorite photos from the Twitterverse this week! Enjoy!
Teresa Giudice shared the photo above with the caption "#ilovefabellini"!
Real Housewives of New Jersey has been like the black plague this season. It's been all dark, dreary, and depressing. And just when things were starting to get semi-good between some of the castmates the annual Posche Fashion Show – the epi-center of all things drama on RHONJ – showed up and all went to hell in a handbasket!
Well, apparently the fourth season will be the last for the PFS (what will Kim D do with her life now?) as Bravo is not filming it for the fifth season! Despite the fact that the show will happen on October 2nd at THE BROWNSTONE of all places, Bravo cameras will be absent according to NorthJersey.com because they have no idea what ladies will even be returning for season five!
EEERRRK! Hit the brakes! Didn't MelissaGorga just complain about Teresa Giudice continuing her friendship with Kim D after she caused all that drama in her life? But Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita get a pass? Well, I guess family is family and co-stars you aren't really friends with but pretend to like for the sake of a storyline on your reality show are another thing. BTW, Jacqueline wore a top from Posche in her People cover. I can't keep up with these ever-changing pseudo-friendships!
Were you left sitting at home, drying your tears because Jacqueline Laurita'sSparkling Event for Austim Speaks was all sold out? Don't fret, as we have all the behind-the-scenes scoop for you!!
Tom Murro of Fox Morning Extra dished the deets with us on the event, which drew in support from Jacqueline'sRHONJ co-stars Caroline Manzo and her crew (the hubby and all three kids), especially since the event was held at the Brownstone. According to Tom, there was "no sign of Teresa, the Gorgas or Wakiles." Adding that "Caroline was sweet".
Jacqs gave a speech to the crowd and admitted that she was nervous about it. Tom shared, "Jax admitted she was quite nervous, more specifically- ''scared shit'' about giving a speech in front of the crowd, she said it's very different from being in front of camera, but she pulled it off, speaking about her son and all children with Autism. Her speech kicked ass, was from the heart, and brought tears to many guests eyes."
Well, well… what have we here. Is it Melissa Gorga appearing on the cover of a tabloid, which she undoubtedly got paid to be on, bashing co-star Teresa Giudice? I mean no big right – except for the fact that we just spent an ENTIRE season of Real Housewives of New Jersey discussing how Teresa was a terrible person for doing just that!
Oh my how the tables have turned. Spin, spin, spin Melissa – gotta get that story out. Now, I fully (and I mean FULLY) expect Teresa to be next with some bigger badder media (Extra?, 20/20? People? OPRAH?) hopping out there to do the same, but I just find it very ironic after all Melissa's lambasting about how Teresa was using her friends and families to make money and get attention. Hypocrite or is Teresa just getting what she deserves?
Me thinks Melissa's real annoyance with tabloid-gate was that no one wanted to put her pretty face on the cover of a magazine. Well, except for that free New Jersey weekly. Lady Gorga, anyone? Anyway, now here she is! She's got a story and now she's got a cover. So let's see what Lady Gorga has to say, shall we.

Oh Lord. I am terrified to write this blog post because I know how things go when one speaks of Teresa Giudice from Real Housewives of New Jersey. Here's my disclaimer: I think Teresa is a whole lot smarter than she lets on, and I think she has the ability to be extremely manipulative when it works for her. But guess what? I think the same thing about Melissa Gorga as well! In fact, all of these women seem hell bent in taking down one another in the press.
Here's the thing, Teresa can't have the keen business sense she possesses and be as ditzy as she appears. She knows fully what her fan base expects her personality to be…but it is the same with each of the ladies. Carolina Manzo is the Mama Bear, and Jacqueline Laurita is the airhead. This isn't their first rodeo! I actually find myself feeling sorry for Teresa. Her marriage seems to be in shambles, and her husband is grossly disrespectful. It's not fun to watch, it's pathetic. Of course, Teresa's fatal flaw is that she never can (and probably never will) actually admit when she is in the wrong. Oh, she'll flippantly say it in the tabloids or in her blog, but it is always followed by a qualification of how things aren't really her fault. Though she claims otherwise, Tre has perfected the art of playing the victim…and people buy it hook, line, and sinker.
That said, do I think Teresa set up Melissa with stripper-gate? No! Teresa says there is no way she could pull off that stunt given that she's a horrible actress. False. She is a wonderful actress, but I have watched enough Bravo to know that it has its own agenda and story line. The network is the ultimate puppet master, and we all know Kim D. would do anything to be one of those puppets. So, let's recap before we get into the meat of this post: I think Teresa is capable of masterminding stripper-gate, but I honestly think she has some sense (twisted as it may be) of family loyalty. Paired with Melissa's obvious desire to replace Teresa in popularity with the viewers, it makes for a perfect storm of drama. So, while Teresa has clean hands in this situation, it doesn't mean she isn't culpable for other things, like selling stories to the tabloids or pretending to think digging at Caroline's kids in her cookbook was an innocent joke.
