While most of us have been stuck inside thanks to Winter weather, the Real Housewives have ditched that cold and snowy life to relax (and probably turn up) on vacation in some warmer climates. Luckily for them, some of the Real Housewives have escaped the drama-filled cast trips.
Unfortunately for me (as a super fan), the ladies are all taking individual trips. The queen of the vacation turn up Vicki Gunvalson has been partying it up in Puerto Vallarta with her boo Steve Lodge. Ramona Singer is enjoying herself in South Beach, which made me flash back to Ramona bragging, “I go to Miami like I brush my teeth. Miami is not really a special place.” And then there is my favorite self-proclaimed jet setter, Sonja Morgan, who is sharing pictures and videos of her trip to St. Maarten.
Ramona Singer is a lot of things but lazy, she ain’t! A real hustler by nature, always in search of the next BEST thing, the Real Housewives of New York City’sfrenzied co-star has pretty much always been a hard worker. Over the years she has launched a fashion and skincare line, created a jewelry line for the HSN and let’s not forget, her eponymous Pinot Grigio. Yep, Ramona is certainly a Jill-of-all-trades, so why not saunter into the hair biz? (It’s like a Real Housewives rite of passage!) Ramona is now selling real human hair extensions.
Ramona reportedly inked a deal with Lux Beauty Club’s co-founder Victoria Flores for a line of hair extensions that she will be promoting (and why not?) on her famed reality show. An insider who spoke to Page Six revealed, “She’s 100 percent involved. It’s real human hair extensions and she’s all about it.” Ramona is said to be excited about her new venture and very much wants her co-stars to sample the silky goods.
Luann de Lesseps, her royal Real Housewives of New York Citycast member, has got a boyfriend and he appears to be googly-eyed over her. Luann’s latest and quite possibly, greatest conquest, Tom D’Agostino Jr. spoke to People magazine about how nuts he is about his lady love. The couple, who began dating around September of last year, definitely only seem to have eyes for each other and reportedly, he might remain on this ride until the wheels fall off!
Tom tells People, “LuAnn is the new love of my life. She is a beautiful person who is elegant, classy and filled with energy like I am. We have a lot in common.” Tom, who just happens to be a millionaire and president and CEO of Smart Source, a corporate print industry company, is also rumored to be an heir to the long-established East coast supermarket chain, D’Agostino. The businessman is also seemingly much in demand with global obligations that have raked up frequent flyer miles. Tom tells the celeb magazine, how he loves the fact that even though Luann has also spanned the globe, she can shed those cosmopolitan aires and get “down home.”
Real Housewives of New York City’s Sonja Morgan is certainly juggling quite a few hats these days. The entrepreneurial diva is reportedly, now scouting New York City Upper East Side locations (of course) in hopes of finding a perfect locale for a restaurant she’d like to name Tipsy according to the New York Daily News.
Ahhh…but wait, Sonja has an ulterior motive for wanting to join the ranks of restaurateurs in the Big Apple…a reality show! An insider who spoke to the Daily News revealed, Sonja has aspirations of becoming another Lisa Vanderpump, the grand dame of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reality show fame. Lisa, who owns restaurants, also managed to snag a successful spin-off show, Vanderpump Rules, based on the shenanigans at one of her West Hollywood posh eateries, SUR. The insider states, Sonja is not wasting a precious minute to get her wheels in motion to pitch her reality show idea and has gone as far as, “hiring a producer and filmmaker to try to make a show based on it.”
Love is in the air big time for Real Housewives of New YorkCity’s,Luann de Lesseps. Reportedly, the Countess is all googly-eyed over boyfriend Thomas D’Agostino Jr. and it is rumored, he just might ‘put a ring on it’ and just in time for the show’s upcoming season.
Luann and Thomas were casual around September but then things really got percolating. Thomas had also reportedly dated RHONY’s resident kook, Ramona Singer for a hot minute but the pair went their separate ways and there doesn’t seem to be any hard feelings. Meanwhile, just who is this Thomas with the oh-so-familiar last name? Well, he is a millionaire and the CEO of Smart Source, LLC, a sourcing company with category expertise in buying, managing and distributing print and promotional materials. Thomas’ last name is also a well known one particularly on the east coast, according to the scuttlebutt, he has been linked to the famed and long-standing supermarket chain, D’Agostino.
This season’s Real Housewives of New York is all about fixing. Heather Thomson is trying to fix Bethenny Frankel. while Bethenny (and everyone else) is trying to fix Sonja Morgan. A handful of the ladies are trying to fix Ramona Singer up with a new man (God bless him, poor soul). And Kristen Taekman is praying to keep a fixed Bravo paycheck for another season. Sonja, for her part, is just trying keep her house standing up and her bathing suit parts glued together while she reaches for another drink to dull the pain of her many, many delusions of grandeur.
In her blog, Bethenny revisits the first installment of the ladies trip to Turks and Caicos, just the beginning of the wild ride to come, she says. But first, Bethenny revisits her confrontation with Kristen at Luann de Lesseps’ fashion soiree. “Let me back up and clean up the Kristen mess. I said it best at Luann’s party: I may have an opinion on the choices that someone makes in business, but that doesn’t mean that I’m going to walk up and get in someone’s face about it.”
Aviva Drescher has always just laughed off her father, George Teichner’s shocking behavior. This is the man, who has groped most of the Real Housewives of New York’s members, been shown the door at a party by Ramona Singer and “poked” Sonja Morgan.
But still Aviva remained unfazed, she even through him an engagement party at the Museum of Sex when the 76-year-old became engaged to 25-year-old Dana Lavette Cody. But did Aviva finally throw in the towel and choose to skip out on her father’s recent nuptials?
Aviva took to her blog this week to confess that she's mortified by George's actions (and his words) with her co-stars, but says it's a parent's job to embarrass their kids. But I'm pretty sure parents aren't supposed to be handsy and downright crude to their kids' friends, right?
