It’s so odd watching these episodes with Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, and the rest of the cast questioning whether or not Luann and Tom will actually get married because they were filmed months ago and we all know that they did make it down the aisle. So it feels kind of pointless and I’m just hoping that this season doesn’t turn into a Season 8 Part 2. I really don’t want it to be all about Tom. That is really so last year. I feel like a brat phrasing it that way, but it’s true. In the mean time, Luann gave us some more Tom talk.
Pointing out the obvious, Kelly scoffed that Real Housewives Of New York is “not the New York Times” and has no business getting involved politics.
“I don’t know Carole at all,” Kelly added, “but I just think slamming anyone for their political views is tacky.” Instead Kelly suggested that Carole use this as a learning opportunity – not a judging one!
We have a few blasts from the past in today’s reality star sightings photo roundup! First up, we have former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville out for a NYLON magazine party with her longtime boyfriend, DJ Friese. Crazy in love looks good on her. Other former RHOBH stars Adrienne Maloof and Camille Grammer were also out and about.
The Real Housewives Of New York star has been plagued by financial issues and accused of living in the past, but Sonja is adamant about hanging on to her last remaining remnant of the Mrs. Morgan socialite lifestyle.
Alex McCord is a name I haven’t heard in forever, but she made a random return to Watch What Happens Live and America. Not only that, but Ramona Singer was in the club house as well. It was a combination I never expected to see, but I was here for it.
I’m not really sure why Alex did this appearance since it’s clear that she wants nothing to do with the reality TV life, but the dynamic between her and Ramona was pretty interesting to watch.
Raise your hand if you are still reeling from Dorinda Medley’sversion of Festivus last week? (I’m raising both, as if arrested. For indecent TV watching while under the influence of Diet Coke.) Well, apparently we can forget all of that! For we’re poised to move on as fast these women do when air-kissing after slut-shaming, because it’s the moment we’ve all lived through already been waiting for: Carole Radziwill’s election party!
Get ready to take five cleansing breaths, friends, because this week The Real Housewives Of New York takes us through the moments leading up to election day right through its aftermath: otherwise known as Ramona Singer’s surprise 60th birthday party. Which she nearly screws up by double booking another date during said party. (And who – by the way – shows up at her party later, only to be summarily shunned!) With all of the drama surrounding these two heady events, Sonja Morgan’s love life nearly gets lost in the shuffle. <single tear> She’s created a love triangle of sorts because she is the eternal ‘it girl,’ dontchaknow? THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE! #TinsleyGoals
The Real Housewives of New York is off to an explosive start this season, with Dorinda Medley airing her grievances at Sonja Morganlast week. Dorinda explains in her blog this week that she just couldn’t hold her tongue for another minute. Also, get a glimpse of what to expect on tonight’s episode.
Dorinda says she really, really tried to wait til after desert, but she couldn’t do it. “As I said previously, I spent the whole summer and part of the fall listening to Sonja badmouth me, my family, my boyfriend and her disgust with me setting Lu up with Tom. It came to a head when the night before Ramona’s dinner, Sonja gave YET ANOTHER INTERVIEW to a large group of women, and yes, it was quoted, carrying on her slandering ways and trying to draw much-needed attention to herself. She even admits in the show she was badmouthing me, and it was sort of a revenge for not inviting her to the one night in the Berkshires almost a year ago. So if she is going to continue to act childish and defamatory, then I am going have to amend Michelle Obamas’ statement “You go low I go high” and add a much needed Dorindism: “You go low, I go lower.””
I’m just gonna admit it – some small part of me ADORES Jillusional. She brings the crazy, the denial, the cluelessness, and she is not afraid to throw it all out there. Jill did a live show with Heather McDonald for her Juicy Scoop Podcast where she blew the lid off her issues with Ramona and also suggested that Bethenny Frankel lied about last season’s revelation that Tom D’Agostino cheated on Luann de Lesseps.
