Real Housewives of New York

Ramona Singer confronts Luann

The ladies of Real Housewives Of New York are lucky where psychics are concerned. They generally get the nice sort who pass along good vibes and communications with loving husbands from the beyond. Unlike oh, say, Allison DuBois or that psychic popstar friend of Tamra’s who predicted Brooks was faking cancer! Anyway, last night Carole Radziwill hired a medium, who found her self mediating between Ramona Singer and Dorinda Medley‘s World War John.

“They needed that,” the woman remarked calmly as Ramona and Dorinda held each other and cried after their blow-up. This woman needs to be making more appearances on Bravo.

However, we begin with psycho facialists. Sonja Morgan is getting human skin cells spread on her face, since placenta is too expensive to buy on the black market! Sonja needs to hook Yolanda up with Satoko!

Jules-Wainstein

I was absolutely loving Jules Wainstein during her first few episodes of Real Housewives of New York. She gorgeous, funny, and vulnerable. But then again, no one is perfect, especially on a reality TV show. And we all know that the second a person slips up and says something out of turn, that is something that will definitely end up on the show.

Needless to say, last week’s episode of RHONY was very awkward to watch. When Jules was discussing how rude Carole Radziwill and Bethenny Frankel were in her Hamptons home,  I got vicariously embarrassed for the woman. I adore Jules, but I just knew that she was going to receive a lot of backlash for an offhand comment that she made the second that I heard it. I’m sure you know what I’m referring to and the only good news here is that Jules knows it too. She feels horrible about it and is owning up to her words.

Ramona and Dorinda

Dorinda Medley began this season of The Real Housewives of New York in the hot seat, so she was relieved to be more of a bit part character last week. Calling her RHONY castmates “killer sharks,” Dorinda jokes that “the moment they stop moving, stop preying, stop stinging, they die.” So, who are they zeroed in on now? Newbie Jules Wainstein, of course!

Dorinda is relieved, but wary. “This week, it’s a relief to see there’s been a cosmic shift away from ME. I’m not in the crosshairs, but like I said last week, that means Jules is in the hot seat, and this one has been set to ROAST.” She adds, “So by now, you’ve seen that Jules is on the spit, getting turned very slowly. Sonja [Morgan’s] on the back burner, just at a simmer, with Luann de Lesseps on the counter, getting primped and prepped for her day in the sun. This is one kitchen I’m glad to be out of at this point.”

Say it isn’t so! Is my favorite reality show duo Ramonja coming to an end? As a major fan of Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan‘s friendship, this week’s episode of Real Housewives of New York City was pretty upsetting to me. These two used to be each other’s greatest defenders and favorite party partners. Now Ramona is confronting Sonja about her partying and telling her that she’s not getting invited to events because of her “embarrassing behavior.”

Poor Sonja. Not only did she get served by her (former?) BFF, but she also had to witness this on national television. Sonja is not the kind of person who responds to controversy by getting catty or mean. Instead, it really seems like Sonja is truly heartbroken by Ramona’s actions.

Even when she’s insulting someone, Luann de Lesseps still has some way to make the critique classy. Case in point, Luann had a lot to say after this week’s episode of Real Housewives of New York City, but that’s really nothing new.

So, what was bothering The Countess the most after this week’s RHONY episode? She is really bothered by Ramona Singer‘s behavior….for the billionth time. Lu took to her blog to sound off on Ramona’s selective memory.

Kelly Bensimon return to RHONY

It will always be difficult to top the iconic reality TV moments that we have had the pleasure to watch from Kelly Bensimon‘s three seasons on Real Housewives of New York. Her “I’m up here, you’re down here” statement to Bethenny Frankel with the accompanying hand gestures was reality TV gold. And I will never forget when she started randomly screaming about Al Sharpton and gummy bears during those infamous Scary Island episodes.

Aside from RHONY specifically, it has been hard to find reality TV scenes that top those in the most general sense. So I am always down for Kelly to make a return to RHONY – not that I have any power or influence over the casting process at Bravo. Since I have no way of getting in touch with Kelly Bensimon myself, I am happy that someone else has asked her about making a return to the reality series.

Carole Radziwill blog

I would hate to be on Carole Radziwill‘s bad side. As a writer, she really knows how to deliver the most cutting digs and throw the best shade. And now that she and Bethenny Frankel are at BFF status, she is not just defending herself: she’s also going to bat for her girl Bethenny during this season of Real Housewives of New York City.

Needless to say, Carole was not pleased by the digs that Jules Wainstein took against Bethenny in the the latest episode of RHONY. And she really went off in her latest Bravo blog entry. The woman did not hold back – at all.

This season of Real Housewives of New York City pretty much just started and it’s already chock full of drama. There is so much going on that the drama is overflowing onto the blogs and social media pages. This is the kind of season that I was hoping for! There is really so much tension this season. Just when it seems like two of the ladies have made amends…someone backtracks to beef about the one or two words in the apology that didn’t sit well with her.

It may have seemed like Bethenny Frankel was cool with Luann de Lesseps and Jules Wainstein after the latest episode, but that was until she saw what was said behind her back and during the on-camera interviews. Now, Bethenny is pretty offended and she she sounded off in her blog.
