We all know that Luann de Lesseps has drunken escapades, an arrest, and a rehab stint coming up on Real Housewives of New York this season. With that said, it would make sense for her to hold back on the judgmental comments about the rest of the cast members before her own drama airs.
No one loves sharing photos as much as a proud mom. That’s why it’s not at all surprising that most of your favorite reality TV stars shared photos from Mother’s Day. Some of them are moms and others just spent time with their own mothers. Did you even celebrate Mother’s Day if you didn’t post about it on Instagram? Apparently not.
It is so tough to follow the changing dynamics on reality TV shows. Cast members go from best friends to enemies in the matter of an episode. Not only that, but these shows are usually filmed months before the episodes actually air. Thankfully we have social media to help keep us up to date on who is getting along these days.
That last episode of Real Housewives of New York was just awkward to watch. It was clear that Dorinda Medleyhad a genuine interest in Bethenny Frankel’sdisaster relief work. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t a good look when she drank to the point of slurring at dinner with Bethenny’s team. She was the only cast member that Bethenny included and the trip wasn’t off to a great start.
During other scenes in the episode, post-divorce Luann de Lessepscontinued to move forward from her short-lived marriage with Tom D’Agostino. This show has been “about Tom” for years, so it might have been a relief for the spotlight to be on Dorinda during the episode.
She tried to ask questions about the work at dinner with Bethenny’s team, but the editing team had to put subtitles over the jumbled, drunken words. That had to be so awkward for Bethenny to live and for both of them to watch. On top of that, Bethenny called Dorinda a “drunk” which is a big deal in general, let alone on a very popular reality TV show.
Andy Cohen even showed an “In Memoriam” segment for their friendship during last night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live. After Andy played that clip, he told Ramona, “You got very emotional watching that.” Ramona confessed, “I could cry almost because I was so close to Sonja and I don’t know if it will happen again or not.” So sad.
The three Real Housewives of New York duos (because who knows if “couple” is actually the applicable word in every instance) went to Dubai with some friends. They all visited Ladies of Londonstar Caroline Stanbury.
There’s messy, then there’s Sonja Morgan’s townhouse messy. There’s also Luann de Lesseps’ quickie-marriage-and-divorce messy. And even worse, there’s Dorinda Medley after 3 hundred and four martinis messy. As luck would have it, this week on The Real Housewives Of New York, we get to visit all three crumbling kingdoms in one 53-minute episode! And it’s pretty much as cuckoo as one would expect. But here’s the clincher: We come full circle to a tender moment at the end, which peels back another layer of this group’s continually evolving dynamic.
Tinsley Mortimer is back from being stalked/surprised by Scott whisking her off to Chicago, so she wants to spill all of the giddy details to Carole Radziwill over breakfast. Carole isn’t in a good place with Adam, though. He’s apparently met someone else – someone who will actually admit dating him? Because Carole sure as hell wasn’t up for that sh*t. But she’s not up for him dating anyone else either. Essentially, Carole claims Adam didn’t want to break up, so she just accidentally “slipped back into a relationship” with him. But now? It’s OVAH! So it sounds like there will be no more slipping back into anything, anywhere, anytime from now on.
