Real Housewives of New York

Real Housewives of New York Recap: War And P.O.S.

All of the cast members are bringing their A game on the current season of Real Housewives of New York– something the Beverly Hills Housewives should take note of. Nevertheless, the true MVP is Luann de Lesseps.

The former countess is the gift that keeps on giving. She has blessed us with so much: a quickie marriage and divorce, culturally insensitive hairstyles, three songs on iTunes (and a Pandora station), her Christmas Eve arrest, a rehab stint, and so much more. On top of that, she has her ups and downs with the rest of the cast. She truly is an all star in this franchise.

Dorinda Medley Doesn’t Regret Causing Drama Between Sonja Morgan & Tinsley Mortimer

We’re only 3 episodes into this season of Real Housewives Of New York and already poor Sonja Morgan has found herself the bullseye in the center of a target. No one seems to be more pissed at the former Lady Morgan than Dorinda Medley though!

Dorinda has been playing executioner from the front and sniper from the side by stirring up drama between Sonja, Carole Radziwill and Tinsely Mortimer!

In her Bravo blog Dorinda defends her outburst at Luann de Lesseps‘ brunch because, “it is absolutely ridiculous that Sonja can’t seem to get the difference between divorce and death, but quite frankly, at this point, I just don’t care.”

Luann de Lesseps Thinks Ramona Singer Should Have Defended Sonja Morgan During Argument With Dorinda Medley

Just like the last season of Real Housewives of New York, this one started out with a Dorinda Medley vs. Sonja Morgan feud. As per usual, pretty much everyone is taking sides, and doing so has lead to several side feuds. Yes, the main problem is between Sonja and Dorinda, but Sonja also took issue with Ramona Singer for not having her back. As a result, Sonja’s girl Luann de Lesseps is also disappointed in Ramona.

Wow. So much feuding resulted from one brunch- and the whole cast wasn’t even present for that initial confrontation.

Kyle Richards

Unfortunately, there really isn’t much to discuss when it comes to Season 8 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. We are all just waiting for the reunion to wrap up and hoping that some casting changes are made for Season 9.

One person who doesn’t mind the lack of drama this season is OG cast member Kyle Richards. It’s understandable that she would want a less stressful filming experience, but is it worth it when the viewers are very vocal about their lack of interest in this show? Just scroll through Twitter on Tuesday nights and you’ll see the word “boring” multiple times in response to every episode this season.

Reality Star Sightings:

In our newest reality star photo roundup we have a whole lot of Housewives! Erika Jayne and her dancers performed at a party in Palm Springs while her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star Kyle Richards and husband Mauricio hung out at Playboy Presents: No Tie Party at The Living Room in Washington, DC.

The Real Housewives of New York ladies were busy, too. Bethenny Frankel attended the DoSomething.org gala in NYC, while Luann de Lesseps attended the 2018 Tribeca Studios and MCM Sneak Preview Of Women’s Hip Hop At Public Hotel.

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey attended the “Come Together” White House Correspondents’ Dinner Pre-Party at The British Embassy in Washington, DC, along with Karen and Ray Huger from Real Housewives of Potomac.

Over in Santa Monica, Lisa Vanderpump attended “Wait Wait… Don’t Kill Me-2” at The Broad Stage alongside Lily Tomlin.

We also have a slew of other reality star sightings in the gallery, including Yolanda Hadid, Eileen Davidson and more!

Carole Radziwill Slams Sonja Morgan For Comparing Divorce To The Death Of Dorinda Medley’s Husband; Says There Were “Infidelities On Both Sides” In Sonja’s Marriage

As a widow herself, it makes perfect sense that Carole Radziwill would side with Dorinda Medley in her feud against Sonja Morgan. Sonja told Dorinda that her divorce was equivalent to Dorinda’s husband dying, so of course Carole would be on Dorinda’s side.

Yes, those are both major losses, but Sonja hating on Dorinda for keeping her late husband’s memory alive is not warranted. Not only that, but Sonja talking about her divorce just happened yesterday when it was actually finalized in 2006 is getting old.

James Kennedy

Say what you want about James Kennedy, but no one can deny that he always brings the entertainment on Vanderpump Rules. The self-proclaimed “White Kanye West” is constantly defending himself from cheating accusations, blessing the fandom with original music, or saying something hilarious.

James opened up about which Real Housewives cast members he would collaborate with and his thoughts on all of the major story lines this season on Vanderpump Rules.

Kelly Bensimon Blames Scary Island On Cast Jealousy Over Bethenny Frankel’s Spin-Off Show

The Scary Island drama between Kelly Bensimon and Bethenny Frankel during Season 3 of Real Housewives of New York is nothing short of iconic.

The longtime fans of the show will never forget Bethenny yelling “go to sleep” and Kelly ranting about jelly beans, Al Sharpton, her “friend” Gwyneth (as in Paltrow), and her insistence that Bethenny wasn’t a “real chef.” That cast trip truly went off the rails and it will hold a place in the hearts of the dedicated viewers forever and ever.
