Bravo is busy rolling out a ton of new shows and heavily promoting some old favorites. They've recently had some trouble in the Real Housewives of Atlanta spinoff department though!
Kim Zolciak and Kandi Burruss are arguing off-screen over legal issues, and they are also fighting it out to save their spinoffs from being canned next season. Bravo, who apparently loves them some Kandi (probably because she is on the hugely successful RHOA), moved The Kandi Factory to Sunday nights in an effort to boost viewership.
Last week the move worked and TKF received a bump in ratings. There was also a fist fight… Unfortunately it's only temporary! Bravo Ratings says that this week's showing didn't even rank in cable's Top 100 shows. Even worse, this Sunday's episode garnered only 596,000 viewers, down 32% from last week and "rated lower than three of the four occasions it aired on Tuesdays." Ouch. I think we can expect that one won't be renewed! This weekend is the season finale.
Tamra Barney accused Vicki 'Work Work Work' Gunvalson of not doing her *gasp* job when it came to their joint venture Wines by Wives. In the episode Tamra presented the portrait of a hardworking and devoted employee while Vicki pretty much ignored her responsibilities to focus on her solo projects.
Vicki is so not taking this laying down. Only one person walks all over Vicki – and is names rhymes with Crooks Scares! Vicki is speaking out in her Bravo blog about their disastrous "work" trip to Malibu and defending herself. And it comes as no surprise that she is putting Tamra on blast!
Last night on Real Housewives of Orange County, Bravo was serving up some therapeutic realness with a side of binge drinking. They always say alcohol is a truth serum!
Tamra Barney and Vicki Gunvalson had further issues in their friendship and Tamra threw yet another tantrum in public. Before we get to all that, let's shine a spotlight on the Dubrow marital problems.
Here's what you need to know: Heather Dubrow does not feel "supported" by Terry. And Terry is more interested in clipping his toenails than listening to Heather rant in front of her arsenal of Chanel make-up before stomping into her massive closet and slamming the door.
Tamra admits her recent gym "opening" which was featured on the show "didn't go as planned," but of course that's not her fault! "I had an unexpected guest and I wasn't speaking to her at the time. And she's threatening me and I thought it was very odd that she wanted to come to my party."
In light of a certain argument with a certain blonde who is often accused of being fake (ahem… Alexis Bellino!), Tamra says:"Being signed up for a reality show, there's the word 'real' in there."
Gretchen Rossi is apparently tired of being told she sucks. Well … stop sucking?
After complaining that Alexis Bellino has no right to be annoyed that people tell her what's wrong with her and instructing her to leave Real Housewives of Orange County if she doesn't like it, Gretchen is devoting a Bravo blog to lamenting that people aren't nice. Um… no – I did not make this up. But I did cackle with glee!
"I would like everyone that has had a negative thing to say on social media sites about this scene withSlade [Smiley]on I on the couch to listen up here. First of all let's be clear about something, Slade and I had been seriously discussing babies before Grayson's surgery and we had taken the first few steps to make that a reality for us," Gretchen says.
So apparently I wasn't the only one watching Bravo's newest reality show Newlyweds: The First Year. I had 999,999 of my closest friends watching with me…give or take a few!
The series, which follows four couples through their first year of marriage, premiered on Monday night with three of the four pairs saying their "I dos" in lavish ceremonies. The show promises to document the ups and downs of family, finances, sex, and the major adjustment that is the first year of marriage.
