Meghan King Edmonds took time out of her busy schedule to play model! The new and intrepid Real Housewives Of Orange County star posed for Gastonomique En Vogue Magazine and opened up about what it was like to join the already established cast and how she balances her different roles in life.
Modeling clothing from Sha Ahmad, Meghan practiced her best Blue Steel. The modeling is pretty hilarious, but the clothes are gorgeous.
Now let’s dissect what Meghan has to say!
On being the new girl on RHOC, Meghan admits it was daunting. “When I joined the show I wanted to be included. It was not easy and I struggled to find my voice during the process.” Oh and boy did she ever find her voice – as the advocate of truthiness and justicey! Once Meghan did find her voice the other women “embraced and respected me.” Too bad the same can’t be said for her hubs!
“Most of the women are making on the minor stuff in my opinion, and so yeah, there’s gonna be some questions being asked, but the challenge for me – if you’ve got questions, come to me directly,” said Brooks. “Don’t talk behind my back, don’t assume and try to put the pieces together. There’s only been one time that these ladies have ever asked me about my cancer and my treatment.”
Now that we’re heading into the home stretch of this season’s Real Housewives of Orange County, it’s apparently not all Aries parties and Woo-Hoo-ing for (former?) besties Shannon Beador and Vicki Gunvalson. Though she stayed loyal to Vicki and her many delusions aboutBrooks Ayers despite the ladies’ growing skepticism of Brooks’ cancer status, Shannon revealed her own skepticism this week’s episode. Which has led to a more serious rift in their friendship since then, says Shannon.
Shannon argues that she was “loyal to a T” when it came to defending Vicki all season on RHOC. But she told E! News in an interview this week, “When you’re my friend, you’re my friend for life. It’s just that there were so many different, inconsistent stories.”
Heather took to her blog to explain why she talked to Vicki Gunvalson about the speculation surrounding Brooks‘ cancer, “I felt obligated to pull Vicki aside and discuss my feelings about what was going on with Brooks. There is a lot more to this part of the story and it will come out, so you will have to stay tuned to watch this unfold. What I can say is that I didn’t want to be involved in Brooks’ health issues, real or not. However, it was Brooks himself that pulled me into it! You will have to wait and find out how that happened.”
Back at Shannon’s Aries party, Tamra Judge is spitting mad that Vicki is allowing Brooks to call her a liar and a backstabber. The unladylike doth protests too much!
Tamra believes Vicki is so influenced by Brooks (and his lies) she may be turning into Brooks! Shannon is hard-pressed to believe that the never, ever dim-witted Vicki could be bamboozled by a con man, so possibly, just possibly, she knows Brooks is faking cancer but is going along with it. Even Tamra can’t believe that – or at least that’s what Tamra is telling the cameras because the only time Tamra has Vicki’s back is when she’s stabbing it!
Shannon on the current state of her relationship with Vicki Gunvalson: “We’re not speaking.” Does she think it’ll ever be the same? “No.” She’s still irked that Vicki denies asking for help, but she says she would’ve helped even if Vicki hadn’t.
Gretchen Rossi may not know much, but she certainly knows a thing or two about being judged for the company you keep and the integrity of your significant other! While Vicki Gunvalson and her now-ex-boyfriend Brooks Ayers are being judged and questioned constantly, Gretchen has certainly walked a mile in Vicki’s Manolos and is imparting some advice.
It is pretty uncanny that Gretchen and Vicki’s lives have some eerily similar parallels. The boyfriend nobody likes (or trusts), the significant other with cancer, the constantly having to defend your love and your relationship to people who barely know you…
