There seems to be no end to the Kelly Dodd-initiated drama on Real Housewives of Orange County. This also appears to be true in real life even though filming for the season has wrapped. One person who’s been in the thick of it with Kelly is Shannon Beador. And they are arguing about more than just the antics that went down in the latest episode with Kelly and Tamra Judge’s massive fight in Ireland. Shannon is calling out Kelly for fat shaming.
Kelly went on a pub crawl that almost ended in a brawl because she says that Tamra hit her (hard) in the department store. “I was shocked, disappointed and concerned about Tamra’s aggressiveness to say the least.”
“When I signed up to be a Housewife, I knew that my life, my personality, my family, my marriage would be on public display. My life has been an open book through my friendships and social media long before I joined the Housewives,” says Kelly. “Obviously, the scale of exposure is completely different now. I am okay with that because I am who I am, an open, honest person.”
This Ireland trip is making some great TV on Real Housewives of Orange County thanks to Kelly Dodd and her antics. This season would be boring without her – at least in my opinion. Although I don’t know what the cast members think about her constant outbursts, but as a viewer, I’m seriously living for it. I’m also curious about how Meghan Edmonds feels since Kelly was brought on the show as HER friend. And now she’s going off on everyone and becoming best friends with Vicki Gunvalson, who Meghan can’t stand.
Then there’s this Ireland trip. ProductionMeghan planned this trip with her husband Jim Edmonds after tracing back their baby’s genealogy to Ireland. So I find it weird that the two of them didn’t go and that Meghan (obviously) had to sit out on a lot of the antics since she can’t party while she’s pregnant. Meghan is on the sidelines of “her” own trip thanks to Kelly taking on the staring role – as per usual. So how does Meghan feel about Kelly saying offensive things to and about Tamra Judge and Heather Dubrow during their vacation?
Love her or hate her, you have to admit that this Real Housewives of Orange County season would be extremely boring if you took Kelly Dodd out of the mix. I can safely say that as a viewer, but I’m sure that he women who are actually cast members on the show could do without her dramatics. One of those ladies is Shannon Beador who hasn’t gotten along with Kelly right from the very beginning.
After Kelly’s outbursts in Ireland, Shannon is taking her to task, defending Tamra Judge, and taking (another) opportunity to throw Vicki Gunvalson under the bus. Shannon has never been the type to hold back in the past and she definitely has no issue going in on Kelly now.
Interestingly, Kelly revealed that she’s currently at a detox center and has stopped drinking. Well, that’s a positive! Also, Heather Dubrow assured that she does not need us to have a fundraiser so she can buy another champagne doorbell.
Kelly and Tamra’s issues centered around drinking problems, Kelly’s bad jokes, what’s in Heather’s bank account, Tamra’s custody issues, and who lies. Also Tamra may have hit Kelly inside a luxury Irish department store. Fun times!
I honestly don’t know where to begin with last night’s trip to Ireland, except that I’m incredibly disappointed that there were no cameras rolling to see Heather Dubrow get kicked out of a bathroom, Kim Richards-style, in a high-class department store, then escorted out the door for being one of those raucous Americans. You just know that was the very most earth-shatteringly distressing moment of Heather’s life.
Andy dug up an Instagram pic from last year of Vicki out with Luann de Lesseps and the infamous Rey. “Luann and I got in a fight that because she thought that I wanted him! I’m like ‘I don’t want him, he’s yours!’ and she got mad at me! I don’t know who he is, but she was like ‘keep your hands off of him.’ He was all over me and she was like ‘we’re going right now’!” Vicki asks Andy again who this guy is and Andy says it’s way too long of a story.
