Real Housewives of Orange County

It’s fair to say the fans have been fickle with their love for Heather Dubrow over the past few seasons of Real Housewives of Orange County, but my loyalty has never wavered.

Sure, Heather serves as the prim and proper police a lot of the time, but have you seen her friends? They could use a little reminder now and then (I’m looking at you, Tamra Judge!). Plus, her closet is amazing and her husband is one of the nicest and most charming men with whom I’ve ever had the pleasure of speaking, no, I’m never NOT going to bring up this interview as it’s one of my most favorite memories in my time writing for this site. 🙂

Tamra Judge

I am always thrown when Real Housewives cast members bitch about being associated with each other and going to group events. If you don’t want to be a part of the friend group, you don’t have to: just quit the show. That’s why I think it’s so weird that Meghan Edmonds and Shannon Beador do whatever they can to avoid Vicki Gunvalson. And this is obviously why they both avoided the trip that Tamra Judge planned in Glamis.

Vicki is the only original cast member remaining on The Real Housewives of Orange County so it blows my mind that anyone has the gall to try and ostracize her. I’m not even a Vicki Stan – by any means – but come on. Let’s be realistic – there is no Real Housewives of Orange County without Vicki. Resisting that fact of life is not the move to make – cough cough Meghan and Shannon.

Meghan Edmonds

Earlier this week The Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson blasted Meghan King Edmonds for “lacking compassion” since she didn’t rush to Vicki’s side after her rollover accident. Vicki was apparently not telling the entire story and Meghan is firing back in her own blog.

Meghan shares, “I honestly can’t believe how horrific the accident was. The most stunning part to me was the silence afterwards. Silence is never a good sign and it was so hard to watch something like that, especially knowing that my friends were involved.”

Kelly Dodd

Kelly Dodd long ago lost her mind, but on this week’s episode of Real Housewives Of Orange County she also lost her helmet, and nearly her head, in an ATV accident at Glamis Dunes. “It was a weekend I will never forget,” Kelly declares.

The trip began on a bad note with the atrocious RV trek to Glamis. No amount of fancy overcomes motion sickness! “The bus ride to Glamis took FOREVER!!!” bemoans Kelly. “I have a long history of motion sickness. It’s very difficult for me to go on boats, trains, long car rides and winding roads without getting sick.”

Vicki celebrates her birthday

The Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson gets candid about Shannon Beador’s excuse for missing the Glamis trip (and calls BS on it), doesn’t hold back her thoughts on Meghan Edmonds not coming to the hospital and so much more.

Vicki wasn’t totally excited about going to Glamis when Tamra mentioned it and for good reason! “When I heard that Tamra wanted to go to Glamis and asked me to go with the ladies, I was ok with it, but really wasn’t something that was on my bucket list of things to do. I had a few friends that really liked going out there, but I had always heard it was really dangerous which made me a little apprehensive.”

Vicki Gunvalson's boyfriend Steve Lodge

It seems like things are getting pretty serious between Vicki Gunvalson and her newish boyfriend Steve Lodge. We haven’t seen him on the current Real Housewives of Orange County season so far, but he must be very important to Vicki if he’s spending some time with her grand kids.

Vicki posted a bunch of super cute pictures of Steve with her grandsons Troy and Owen chilling on the couch and baking up cookies while their parents were out for a date night.

Real Housewives of Orange County recap

On last night’s Real Housewives of Orange County, some of the women got smashed in Glamis after Tamra Judge took the wheel.

Tamra is trying to organize a trip for Eddie’s birthday, except none of her fancy pants (or wannabe fancy pants) friends are willing to spend three days riding ATVS around sand dunes and living in trailers. How is Shannon Beador going to manage in a place with no crystals embedded in the walls. Or without “hospital-grade air”!?

Aside from the usual drama with the ladies, both Kelly Dodd and Meghan Edmonds have been facing a lot of rumors about their marriages. People have been dragging Jim Edmonds for being absent during Meghan‘s insemination process and seeming disinterested in her pregnancy. Kelly revealed that she and her husband Michael Dodd separated for two years, she filed for divorce, and she dated someone else during their break.

With that said, the fans (and haters) have been pretty relentless on both Kelly and Meghan’s marriages, and now the Real Housewives of Orange County stars are trying to set the record straight.
