Renee Graziano

In today’s extremely shocking Mob Wives news, the NY Post is reporting that Renee Graziano’s ex-husband Hector “Junior” Pagan has been wearing a wire for the FBI for the past year.

Even more shocking, Junior, who reportedly flipped for the FBI and became their informant last summer, has now helped put Renee’s father — Bonanno crime family capo Anthony Graziano — back in jail. Anthony, 71, was just recently released from prison after finishing up a long sentence.

The drama began last week after Junior and his former father-in-law were arrested on Staten Island during filming for season 2 of the VH1 show. But late last week, Renee and the other cast members discovered Junior’s secret after a report in the online mob newsletter ganglandnews.com revealed Junior had been secretly taping conversations with Renee’s dad Anthony for the FBI.

Renee’s sister and show creator Jennifer Graziano opened up about the shocking ordeal to the NY Post. “The first inclination is always to say, ‘Shut it down,’ ” a shaken up Jennifer told The Post of the show. “It is a reality show, and I knew this was going to be personal to me going into this,” she said. “But I didn’t know this was going to happen.”

Reports state that Junior, who was facing a long prison term for armed robbery, agreed to wear a wire and record conversations with his ex-father-in-law. Those recordings reportedly caught Renee’s dad Anthony instructing Junior to collect a $150,000 loan shark debt from an unidentified man.

Junior, who has a 17-year-old son with Renee, was reportedly set to have a bigger role on the VH1 show this season. In fact, the NY Post reveals that on the first episode of season 2, set to debut Jan. 1, Junior can be seen pacing outside a federal courthouse in Brooklyn, telling Renee over the phone that he had been offered a deal by prosecutors on an earlier arrest.

Renee’s sister Jennifer, however, makes it clear the show must go on as they have only filmed seven out of the 12 episodes scheduled for season 2.“We’re making a reality show, and this is the reality of what’s going on,” said Jennifer.

As for how Renee is taking the news, Jennifer states: “Renee is an open book and lets people into her life because she wants people to understand what she’s going through.” Renee has also been quoting bible verses on her Twitter page as she tweeted over the weekend, “Evn whn I hve troubles all around me U, GOD will keep me alive! Whn my enemies r angry U, GOD will reach dwn n sve me w ur pwer. Psalm 138:7.”

When it comes to her father, Jennifer says, “He spoke to my mother and he just said he wished he could have had Thanksgiving with his family. He’s [locked up] and he’s going to deal with it.”

Pretty shocking news indeed. Oddly enough, Renee and her cast members have always made such a big deal about their dislike for “rats.” In fact, Renee did not want to rekindle a friendship with costar Karen Gravano last season due to the fact that her father Sammy “The Bull” Gravano also became an informant for the FBI.

So will Renee, who has admittedly had a hard time letting go of her ex, continue to stand by him? There have been reports that the two had in fact reconciled and were dating again. We will have to wait and see on the upcoming season. But safe to say season 2 will be GOOOD.

TELL US – THOUGHTS ON THIS NEWS? ARE YOU SHOCKED THAT JUNIOR BECAME A FBI INFORMANT? DO YOU THINK RENEE WILL CONTINUE TO STAND BY HIM?

Mob Wives is baaaack! Vh1 just released the poster and teaser clip for Season 2 and all I can say is YES! Oh sweet glorious television Gods — Thank you! I love these bleepin ladies!

As we recently reported all four of the ladies are returning and the drama will be as crazy as ever! Especially with the introduction of a new mafia princess!

In the off season the hell raisers in heels of Staten Island have been busy, busy little bees. Renee Graziano has been getting nipped, tucked and toxed. Oh and her father Anthony Graziano has been sent back to prison on extortion charges as reported by the Staten Island Live News.

She’s also rekindled things with Junior (aka Hector Pagan Jr), recently arraigned on allegations that he and a crew robbed a card game run by the Bonanno crime family. A photo of Renee and Junior leaving a Federal Courthouse in Brooklyn is below.

Carla Facciolo is back together with her estranged husband Joseph Ferragamo and has called off the divorce. Hopefully he’ll remain out of prison and they can stay happily married.

Karen Gravano is still hard at work on her book which according to the M.O.B. Wives blog is titled MobDaughter and is slated to be released in February 2012 — right in the middle of Season 2! A photo of Karen attending a publishing meeting for the book is below, a mock-up of the book cover is behind her in the pic!

As for ol’ Drita “Brass Knuckles” D’avanzo she’s been spotted hanging out with Jersey Shore‘s infamous Snooki! Oh lawd, the thought of their antics is causing me heart palpitations! Drita recently posted some pictures of the two of them on her Facebook page. A photo of Snookers and Drita is below. Right after these were taken the two did tequila shots until punching random people in the head seemed like a good idea, then got leopard print tattoos, flashed some people, bought a fur and danced on a bar. Ok, I made that part up, but I imagine that’s what happened.

The most exciting news for the new season of Mob Wives is the introduction of a NEW WIFE! Yes, Karen is the odd girl out no more as her ‘cousin’ is joining the cast in an effort to make Renee’s overly Restylane’d head explode!

According to the NY Post, Ramona Rizzo (pictured below) has been added to the cast! Ramona is a divorced mother of four currently living in New Jersey, but was raised in Staten Island along side Renee and Karen.“Karen and Ramona grew up together, did their first Communion together and slept over each other’s houses,” Jennifer Graziano — Renee’s sister and the creator and producer of the show – reveals. “They’re really close and call each other ‘cousins.’ ”

“They’re probably tighter than real blood cousins, but they’re not related, ” she adds.

Ramona has quite the organized crime legacy! Her grandfather was Benjamin “Lefty Guns” Ruggiero, a member of the Bonnano crime family who was a subject of the movie “Donnie Brasco” and played by Al Pacino!

Ironically Ramona’s legendary grandfather was also somewhat of a traitor who “unwittingly” played a role in the downfall of the mob when he brought undercover FBI agent Joe Pistone (Johnny Depp‘s character in the movie) into the crime family. Ramona’s grandfather died of cancer in prison in 1994 and was never punished by the mob for his accidental nark.

Ramona has been Tweeting up a storm since the news leaked that she was participating in the show and even tweeted a photo of her and bestie Karen! A photo of the pseudo cousins is below!

Is anyone else a tad bit frightened about the drama shizzstorm we’re in for this season? Watch out Real Housewives of New Jersey, the real gangsters of reality TV are claiming their turf!

Mob Wives season 2 will premiere Jan. 1 (8/7c) on Vh1. Are you ready to stab somebody with a stiletto?! See the teaser below!

Mob Wives VH1
Ready or not, the Mob Wives are gearing up for a sophomore season following the success of their first!

The VH1 network recently announced that the second season of the hit show will return to airwaves on January 1, 2012. Returning are all of the four original cast members – Drita D’avanzo, Renee Graziano, Karen Gravano and Carla Facciolo.

The press release promises the second season of Mob Wives will pick up where the first left off – with each cast member dealing with major personal life issues.

“The rift between Karen and Drita is far from over – will they ever be able to ‘bury the hatchet’? Renee goes under the knife for major plastic surgery that may have some unexpected consequences, while also contemplating her future with her ex-husband Junior. Drita is considering her options when it comes to leaving her husband Lee – while Carla’s relationship with her estranged husband Joe may take an unexpected twist. And, of course, everyone wants to know what’s in Karen’s soon-to-be-released book – the one she moved back to New York to write!”

Even better, the network also announced that a new spin-off Mob Wives: Chicago will debut in the Spring 2012! Yes Mob Wives: Chicago will introduce a new cast of women suffering the stronzi and agita of their Mafiosi connections.

“Our viewers connected so strongly with our New York cast that we were skeptical about trying to repeat that success, said Jeff Olde, Executive Vice President, Original Programming & Production. “But once we met these ladies from Chicagoland heard their truly unbelievable stories, we knew that viewers would become just as captivated as we did. These women’s life experiences may be far different from our own, but their current struggles to stand on their own two feet are relatable to everyone.”

So there you have it folks! Mob Wives season 2 will return Jan. 1 at 8/7c while the new Chicago spinoff will debut in Spring of 2012!

TELL US – LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEW SEASON OF MOB WIVES? THOUGHTS ON THE CHICAGO SPIN-OFF?

Holy &%#@*! I feel like they’ve been on hiatus for an extreme amount of time, but it is finally time for the ladies of Mob Wives to reconvene for the first season’s reunion special. And holy host! Unless she was tag-teaming with Maury Povich on Jerry Springer’s set, I can’t imagine a better host for this reunion than Wendy Williams. This is going to be AH-MAZE-ING!

First off, we get to see fabulous highlights from the first season with Drita D’avanzo, Renee Graziano, Karen Gravano, and Wendy Williams, and it’s as if I just died a Mob Wives death and the best parts of my life are flashing before my eyes.

Wendy Williams, or W Squared, begins by discussing the public perception of the show. Drita can’t believe that people are upset over her representation of Staten Island. As far as she’s concerned, it wasn’t a representation of Staten Island as it was just a representation of her personal life, so what is the big deal? I can see her point. I mean, if New Jersey were judged on the representations of the cast of Jersey Shore or RHWNJ, the Garden State would be royally screwed…oh wait. :) W2 reminds the ladies that Mob Princess Victoria Gotti has bad-mouthed the show, calling it scripted, and that clearly strikes a nerve with Renee, but she doesn’t elaborate.

Mob Wives Cast - Karen Gravano, Drita D’avanzo, Renee Graziano, and Carla Facciolo

Season One of Vh1’s Mob Wives might be over but the drama sure isn’t! In a post-season, pre-reunion interview for Complex the cast of Mob Wives give their opinions of all the fights, drama, and friendship destruction and reveal what’s next for the ladies.

As for how the cast reacted to having cameras follow their every move, resident badgirl, Drita D’avanzo describes it as “stressful”, describing herself as a private person who kept her identity as the wife of a gangster secret for years: “I worked in [Saks Fifth Avenue] for seven years and no one ever knew anything about me. They probably, honestly, would be shocked. I mean, seven years in the same place, 55 hours a week with 55 women, and you never tell anyone that your husband was in jail or that you’re a single mom—they’re gonna be shocked. I never used profanity!”

Renee Graziano, on the other hand, called the experience “therapeutic,” proclaiming: “I got to learn a lot about myself.” As for how the editing process portrayed her, surprisingly Renee is ok with it: “At first, I was a little uptight because people weren’t seeing the side of me… I’m very funny. I’m very, very loving. I came off extremely hard and, I think, cold. But as the show has unraveled, you get to see who I really am and I love it.”

Karen Gravano gives the status of her book Shadow of the Bull, which we can expect to find in clearance racks bookstores this fall! Karen explains she is meeting with her ghost writer and using the book to establish her own identity outside of being Sammy The Bull’s daughter: “Not by any means am I saying that I don’t love my father, but you want to have your own identity, you don’t always want to be your mother’s child or your father’s child.”

As you could expect, she and Drita are still not speaking following their explosive season-ending blow-up, but Drita admits she is sorry for the way things escalated: “Physical violence isn’t going to solve anything, and I think it’ll make it worse, so I’m mad at myself that I allowed that. That’s me, that’s my temper, but I want to change that about me and I’m not happy it happened. Karen and I don’t really talk right now,” but Drita is still friends with Renee and Carla Facciolo, of course.

The ladies also divulge they were picked up for a Season Two and will begin filming very soon. As for what to expect, according to Carla even the cast doesn’t know: “You know what, I don’t even know what to expect yet, but I am excited about it. It’s weird because when we ended off, that [fight] happened with Drita and Karen, and I just want everything to try and like get back to normal in Season Two so everybody can just hang out and be happy again and be friends and have a good time!” Well, don’t hope for that too much or you definitely won’t be doing a Season Three!

Drita has some news though for Season Two – something major is on the horizon: “For me, you can expect a huge life change, an event. It’s going to be shocking, probably.” All my bets are on D-I-V-O-R-C-E based on some interesting posts via her Facebook page. If you recall, Drita discovered on the finale episode that her husband Lee D’avanzo had cheated on her.

Drita posted the following on July 2, “I just wrote Lee a letter~ sayn now your ho can send packages and visit you…hope she can keep her legs closed while your away too. Good Luck Asshole.” And on June 29, she hinted about a possible break up. “I think breakups ae like a broken mirror. You’ll probably hurt yourself more by trying to put it back together. Get a new mirror!” Season 2 should be interesting!

And speaking of Drita, she will doing something new for reality stars – hawking her own product: “I have a cosmetics line coming out. I’ve always been in the field of make-up [and] I’ve modeled, so all these things now I can do.”

The Mob Wives Reunion will air July 10th on Vh1 at 8pm.

So will watch Season Two of Mob Wives? Do you think Drita will divorce Lee while he’s in prison?

It’s the bleeping finale of Mob Wives, and I know you’re all just as excited as I am! Carla is worried about what will happen now that Joe is out of prison, and Renee revels in her new-found Junior-free freedom. But who cares about that? Drita and Karen Throw. It. Down. in a scene that makes Tamra Barney throwing her sis and desist letter in Jeana Keogh’s face look like two pals hugging after a picnic with unicorns and kittens. It’s fabulous.

Karen Gravano calls her ex-boyfriend and baby daddy Dave to talk about her recent time in Staten Island. He tells her not to get caught up in the drama and to keep doing what she’s doing in regard to her book because, you know, “haters gonna hate.” Is Dave an alias for The Situation? Because he sounds a lot like Mike Sorrentino. Karen expresses regret that her daughter is still in Arizona and asks Dave if he’d ever consider coming back to New York. The pair seems to be positively working on their relationship.

Renee Graziano heads to her therapist, and she seems genuinely happy that Junior is out of her house and out of her life. Her therapist looks a tad skeptical…can you blame her? Therapy has taught Renee how to manage her temper and pick her battles. She feels very “centered.” Perhaps she should pass her therapist’s contact information on to Drita.

After a very successful first season, the finale of Mob Wives airs tonight on VH1.

One word to describe it? Explosive! On the finale episode, we will finally get to witness the widely reported fight between former friends Drita D’avanzo and Karen Gravano. The tension between the two ladies stems from Drita both dating and marrying Lee, whom Karen dated for 7 years and lived with. Drita is also upset with Karen for including her past with Lee in the book she’s writing.

Drita and Karen have spent the entire season trying to resolve their issues but things come to ahead tonight when Drita also accuses Karen of sleeping with her ex-boyfriend… while she was still dating him! Wowzers. In the preview below, Karen steps up during the argument which leads Drita to attack her.

Fast forward to today and it appears things are still very bad between the ladies. In a recent interview they both slammed each other with Karen calling Drita a “ho” and Drita calling Karen “two-faced.”

However it appears Drita is now willing to mend things. During the cast’s season finale party last night in Manhattan, Drita told Silive that she is not happy about her fight with Karen. “I’m not happy the way the show ended,” said Drita, “but I have no animosity. I hope we can move forward.”

Meanwhile, VH1 announced last month that the Mob Wives will return for a second season! Also, the reunion show was filmed this Thursday and will air July 10th.

The finale airs 8/7c on VH1. A preview clip is below -

TELL US – THOUGHTS ON THE PREVIEW & FINALE?

As we wait with bated breath for this Sunday’s explosive season finale of Mob Wives, Karen Gravano and Drita D’avanzo continue their brawl in the media.

As you recall, on this past episode, Karen is writing a tell-all book and Drita is concerned that she plans to tell a lot about Drita’s jailed husband Lee D’avanzo. In an effort to placate Drita’s worries, Karen gave her the first chapter of her book. Instead of reading it, Drita revived their past feud.

In a recent interview, Drita explains, “When she handed me the chapter, at first I was like that’s good because I was glad that she accomplished something. [However] I really wish she wouldn’t be sharing with me because I don’t really trust her. I didn’t know if she was giving it to me like, ‘Here read it b*tch.’ She’s been so ballsy and two-faced that I don’t know.”

Karen however states she had good intentions in giving Drita the chapter, “My intent to give her that chapter was extending the olive branch because I wanted her to feel comfortable.” Of course, instead of ending it there, Karen feels the need to elaborate. “I felt like Drita and I put the past behind us. We’re not war over Lee. We are in a war over Drita being a fake a*s b*tch. I told her how I felt as a friend, I want move past it. What Drita really is upset about is that she has to admit she’s a ho and she doesn’t want to admit that. Drita doesn’t want to admit what she did so she keeps trying to make excuses about me being here.”

Oh but there’s more. Karen continues, “She has one thing that her and her husband are petrified that I’m going to say. They’re automatically getting defensive. They’re real paranoid about what I’m going to say because maybe her husband has secrets that he’s trying to hide — and it isn’t criminal secrets because I don’t put people’s criminal secrets out there.”

Drita agrees that she believed the woman had worked to put the past behind them, so she was astonished to hear some of the things Karen said about her on the show, things which I will not repeat here, because it’s just a lot of bleeping bleeps. “I’m so disappointed that she went this far, this route — disappointed that she approached the whole situation in this way. She came in on a mission to have a fight with me and with plans to embarrass me and my family. Just abuse me, this is what her goal was. To me it didn’t seem like she gave two sh*ts if we were friends or not because she made that clear,” said Drita.

Needing the last word, Karen brings out the big guns…literally. “Drita says she wants to go to war with me? I’ve got soldiers and cannons and they’re pointing right at you. I don’t know what you’re going to do because I won’t lose this battle. [And] I have a way bigger story than she could ever have.” And there you have it folks.

In other, less bleeping heated, Mob Wives news, Renee Graziano has found someone new after politely kicking her husband Junior Pagan to the curb. She reveals to HollywoodLife, “I was very disappointed and disgusted that once again I allowed someone to walk in and take what didn’t belong to them, which is my heart.”

Moving on with a new life includes moving on with a new man. “I’ve gone on a date — I actually went out with him Friday night. It went smoothly. He’s amazing.” According to Renee, he’s a successful business man and former professional athlete. In fact, even her ex Junior approves. “He met Junior and I the same day 17 years ago and then Junior and I left each other 12 years ago. I’ve always liked him and he’d never go out with me because of Junior and finally Junior spoke to him last week and said it’s fine with him if him and I went out together. We are friends, it’s nothing more than that just now. [But] it feels nice.”

And how does Renee’s son AJ feel about his mom getting back into the dating game? He says, “I was proud of her. I was happy that she finally moved on. She’s growing up.”
