When asked about Kenya‘s disgustingly hot Moore Hair Care launch party, Porsha says, “I thought it was a set up. By the time she got there I looked like a mop. I was about to melt.”
A caller wants to know where Porsha and Kenya stand today. “We’re actually okay,” says Porsha. “We’re okay. We kind of speak to each other. Not so many digs – still a little shade every now and then just to keep up honest, but she is okay. I wish her well.” I hope her snarky comments at Kenya’s launch party isn’t her idea of “not so many” digs.
Two days after the season premiere of Real Housewives Of Atlanta -when Kandi and Todd announced that a motorcycle and a four-wheeler owned by Apollo were in their garage while Apollo serves his 8-year prison sentence – the feds are seeking a surrender lien on said property. Oops.
I’ve never been shy about the fact that I like whatKenya Moore brings to the Real Housewives of Atlanta. That said, just because I find her special brand of crazy entertaining, doesn’t mean I agree with everything she does and says. Kenya took to her blog to break down this week’s episode, and to be honest, I think she totally missed the mark on two of the three storylines she touched on.
Despite the fact delusion that Kenya and Kim Fields have so much in common and, you know, Hollywood has been so good to both of them, they didn’t exactly hit it off.
“I have worked with Kim in the past, when I was a guest star on the ’90s sitcom Living Single and later on Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns,” shared Kenya. “We joked about how shady she was to me back then during our meeting. I was a bit taken aback at the side eyes and shade she threw my way. As far as now, she was very reserved and subdued, a far cry from the fun and feisty character she played in the ’90s.”
“I love Broadway,” gushed NeNe. “This time last year, I was on Cinderella, and now I’m on Chicago as Mama Morton. I have two songs. I’m doing a solo and a duet, so I am trying to stay well. I love Broadway. The schedule is tough – it’s a very tough schedule – but I love it.”
NeNe went on to say that Broadway wanted more NeNe than NeNe was willing to give them. Because, you know, it wouldn’t be fair to deprive everyone else who wants a piece of NeNe for more than four weeks at a time. “Originally they wanted me to do it until January,” she claimed. “I couldn’t do it. When you do Broadway, you really can’t do anything else. You have to clean your schedule, and the moment that you clean your schedule, that is when everybody calls.”
In case you hadn’t noticed Porsha Williams was like really, really, really, REALLY excited about her relationship with NFL player Duke Williams. They’ve broken up since Porsha threw him a Baby-Man-Child Sip & See/Goodbye Party on Real Housewives Of Atlanta, but Porsha is still disappointed that her business partners, family and so-called friends weren’t more supportive of her showing her crazy and desperate with a 24-year-old fling.
Porsha was genuinely “surprised” by how judgmental her Naked business team was towards her love life. “I feel like when I’m in a relationship, I’m at my best,” she insists.” I mean, like so what if a girl wants to get DUKE 4 EVA tattooed on her booty after 2 minutes in the sack?! It’s like, love.
Kenya acknowledged that Kim threw her “a lot of shady looks” when she asked her to help direct Life Twirls On. “I wasn’t expecting that,” she admitted. “In the coming weeks, you’ll see if it’s a good fit or not.”
It’s hardly a mystery, as Kenya‘s opinion of Kim turned sour, “You know, some people are made for reality TV and some people aren’t. I mean, you have to be kind of interesting, right? I don’t [find her interesting].” OUCH!!
NeNe Leakes is gearing up to start her second Broadway turn next week in “Chicago,” playing Matron “Mama” Morton. Since she’s in NYC, rehearsing for her new gig, she stopped by The View this morning to dish on everything from marriage to Gregg, starring on Broadway and being grateful for The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
The ladies bring up the fact that NeNeremarriedGregg and she says that love is definitely better the second time around. She says she loves having a husband, “I love companionship, love being married.” When Joy asks why they split to begin with, NeNe evades answering with specifics and just says she “had to teach him lesson – never to cross me.”
