Wanna know what Real Housewives of Atlanta would be like if it were for-real scripted television? You may be able to find out soon!
Phaedra Parks' life may be getting made into a musical movie. A screenplay was submitted to the U.S. Patent Office which denotes a "screenplay/script" for a "Dramatic Work and Music; Cinematography". The U.S. Copyright office commented that "Deposit contains text of treatment/outline only”.
Hopefully it hasn't been written by Phaedra's biggest fan Angela Stanton! The author of the treatment is not Phaedra and may be an "unauthorized screenplay" according to LA LATE. Phaedra is currently suing Angela for defamation over the book Lies Of A Real Housewife in which Angela accuses Phaedra (without any proof) of being a criminal mastermind behind an autotheft ring.
Sweetie never appeared on Don't Be Tardy because Kim fired her, then rehired her, and then Sweetie quit to go back to school. Well apparently Kim and Sweetie are up to their old hijinks because they are mysteriously filming something together!
You know, of all of the reality stars in all of the franchises in the far-reaching corners of Bravo Land, the one I'd be the most frightened to feud with is Real Housewives of Atlanta'sNeNe Leakes. Not only does she have a sharp tongue, she's a legit heavy hitter after making the jump from Bravolebrity to bona fide television actress. Sure, The New Normal has been canceled, but, you know what, so was a gem known as Malibu Country.
That said, Wendy Williams apparently didn't get the memo–and she's supposedly friends (albeit maybe former) with the Neenster! After whisperings of discord between the ladies, Wendy is trying to set the record straight, saying that rumors of tension between the two are totally exaggerated.
I don't know about you, but I have a very special place in my heart for the ladies of Real Housewives of Atlanta. I feel like we've seen them change the most, and while they are every bit as dramatic as their Bravo counterparts (sometimes more), the don't seem as one dimensional as some of the other franchise's housewives.
While we wait for their return, the least I can do is makes sure you get the women in small doses. Recently, Kandi Burruss posted a vlog interview on her website where she talks about cast shake-ups and marriage break-ups. In true Kandi fashion, she makes sure that she maintains a very neutral stance on NeNe Leake's comments on the reunion about wanting out with old and in with the new as far as the ladies are concerned. She also stays very measured when asked about Porsha and Kordell Stewart's divorce.
The ladies are currently in the middle of filming their sixth season and a Reality Tea reader spotted Mynique cruising around Savannah, GA with NeNe Leakes and other cast mates!
Mynique is happily married to former Atlanta Falcons player Chuck Smith and allegedly replaces Kim Zolciak in the baller's wife role. Mynique apparently came to the attention of the producers through Ms. Leakes, who also reportedly introduced them to Phaedra Parks and Kenya Moore!
Mynique's husband told Access Atlanta he has know NeNe for "24 years growing up in Athens" and that NeNe and Mynique, a mother of three, have been friends for 12 years. She also knows She By SheBroke from her hubby's football days. Chuck was quick to point out that Mynique isn't confirmed as a castmember just yet and hasn't "officially" joined the show.
The RHOA ladies have been Tweeting and Instagramming new pics this week that show off their new reality star BFF. Mynique is the wife of former Atlanta Falcon player Chuck Smith.
A Reality Tea reader spotted NeNe Leakes, Kenya Moore, Porsha Stewart and company this afternoon on a tour bus (photo below) and gave us the scoop on today's filming. "I'm in Savannah and spotted the housewives filming. There was an altercation between a large group of the women and Phaedra. Mynique and Kenya were part of the pack. Attached is a picture I took afterwards of them on a City Tour Bus."
Phaedra says the name isn't official yet because they are waiting on the naming ceremony – coming soon (and no doubt filmed for RHOA cameras). "We’re waiting to have a traditional African naming ceremony,” she explained.
Otherwise, things are going well for the family who is adjusting nicely to the new baby. So, when are we going to see photos of this cutie?
