After Real Housewives of Atlanta'sNeNe Leakes stint in the hospital due to a blood clot in her lungs, the reality star has been honing in on healthcare. And who better to hone with (on television, no less) than Dr. Oz? Newbie housewife Mynique Smith instagrammed the above picture of with the caption "Ur girl @NeneLeakes did a great job on Dr. Oz today @GregLeakes #health #educated."
Of course, if NeNe's making the talk show rounds, one of her RHOA co-stars has to work to keep up with the the Joneses Mrs. Leakes by scoring her own televised sit down. Gone with the wind fabulously cray-cray Kenya Moore dished on her friendship (or lack thereof) with the Neenster to Wendy Williams. So Mynique is kissing Neen's booty while Kenya is trashing it…this isn't going to end well…but it's going to be fun to watch!
On this week's episode of Real Housewives of AtlantaCynthia gave us a glimpse into some of the extreme trust issues their relationship has and with everything from family being against the marriage to serious money woes, it's no surprise the couple almost didn't last!
Cynthia admits that living with fibroids, which she had removed this season, were so intense it almost destroyed her relationship and that if she hadn't had surgery Peter would have been out the door. Apparently "In sickness and in health" is like a vanity vow or something…
It seems the powers that be at Bravo aren't too happy with Porsha Stewart!
Sources say this will likely be her last season on Real Housewives of Atlanta. Porsha will definitely finish out this season (which was still filming a couple months ago) and appear on the reunion, but she's "on the bubble" where next season is concerned.
"Producers haven't decided whether they want to keep her or give her the ax," TMZ reports. They are waiting until after the reunion to make their decision.
It's been a year of ups and downs for Real Housewives of Atlanta'sNeNe Leakes. She remarried husband Gregg and seems happier than ever, but she was also recently hospitalized for blood clots in her lungs.
It's hard to imagine the Neenster serious about much. After all, she's famous for her "bloop" and her "Close your legs to married men…WIG!" (That one gets me every time.) Of course, if there was ever something to be famous for, a great tagline is definitely up there in reality stardom!
Instead, the Neenster comes up with a hilarious new nickname for Phaedra Parks. No, it's not the Head Doctor…that's so last week! This week, NeNe has dubbed Phaedra the "mortician of manners" after showing up three hours late to leave for the girls' trip to Savannah. I think I would have left her donkey booty.
We had Krazy Kenya Moore and more crazy Mama Joyce and we had busloads of drama. I'm glad I was sitting down, sipping on some chilled wine because otherwise I would have needed my own dose of psych meds!
Let's rip this mess apart.
So NeNe Leakes is in her store-sized closet (she oughtta start letting 'bout to be broke Porsha Stewart shop in there. More on her later) packing for Savannah. She's excited to be planning a girls' bonding trip and Gregg is excited to be fitting into NeNe's shoes. They wear the same size. They should dress up as each other for Halloween.
On the other side of town Kandi Burruss pays a visit to Cynthia Bailey to bond over mamas who hate their man and wanting to cancel their weddings. Was that an episode of Jenny Jones ten years ago? Anyway, Kandi breaks down sobbing as she recounts for Cynthia the incidents at the bridal boutique the week before. Cynthia is shocked that Mama Joyce and the Aunts went all OLG: Old Lady Gang and got crunk amid some big ol' white ball gowns. Say Yes To SECURRRTY!
For onceKenya Moore is sounding more sane than crazy. Fluke or… fluke? Reacting to last week's episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta where Mama Joyce Said Yes To The Cray-Cray (Say Yes To The Psych Ward?), Kenya offers some advice and some commentary.
"I recently served as maid of honor for one of my best friends. I consider myself as her family. When Mama Joyce told Carmon it was a family affair, I was offended for her. I have been in the company of Mama Joyce many times and she is a sweet, caring, warm person. Having said that, even when emotions are running high, it is never a reason to be taken out of character," Kenya writes in her Bravo blog. Quite agree!
"I was disappointed to see her take off her shoes as if to prepare for battle or throw them at Kandi [Burruss]’s BFF from childhood, whom she considers a daughter herself," Kenya continues. "Mama Joyce must contain her inner angst and allow Kandi to live her life, trust that Kandi will protect herself, and understand that she instilled the values in Kandi that have made her the sharp, successful business woman she is today."
