Brandi is looking forward to her new venture and the chance to say whatever she wants (no bleeped cursing!) and is excited because a few of her celebrity friends who refused to be filmed for RHOBH have agreed to be guests on the podcast. She shared in a press release “It’s great being the one who gets to ask the questions. We’re making the show entertaining, informative, fun and as spontaneous as possible, so you never know what someone is going to say next.”
PodcastOne CEO Norm Pattiz has faith in Brandi and feels she was born for this, sharing “Brandi is a natural, in every sense of the word. No thought goes unspoken and what you hear is who she is. She was born for this medium. We’re glad to have her at PodcastOne.”
You know who needs to stop talking for a little bit? Wendy Williams, In fact, I feel kind of badly talking about her and giving her more attention, but her latest shenanigans need to be addressed. Domestic violence knows no boundaries, be it social, economic, or age, and we're all often guilty of blaming the victim…or doubting their recollection of events. I'm not saying that every woman who has claimed to be abused actually was, but on the flip side, do I want to be the one who makes that call? No. If someone's life is so sad that they feel the need to make false accusations, they don't need my judgment.
That said, just because someone is a person we like to snark on or seems generally horrible to be around, doesn't mean that they deserve to have someone put their hands on them. We all love to hate the often violent Evelyn Lozada, but her attitude doesn't warrant her ex-husband's behavior towards her any more than we excuse her behavior towards past co-stars. Sorry, that was a lot to get off my chest, but with the recent news of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Camille Grammer suffering abuse at the hand of her boyfriend Dimitri Charalambopoulos, Wendy Williams has felt the need to put in her two cents…and to her, Camille's story sounds "sketchy." Geez.
Camille is working with the police and successfully obtained a restraining order. Upon hearing the news Camille's former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star, Taylor, is of course commenting. Happily, Taylor who is now in a much happier relationship has nothing but positive and supportive remarks.
"I am shocked and saddened by reports that Camille was in an abusive relationship," Taylor told E! News. "It takes a tremendous amount of courage to take a stand and report abuse." Taylor has previously given reality TV credit for saving her life from more detrimental abuse and giving her the strength to leave her marriage.
The incident occurred when another woman started texting Dimitri at 1:30 AM. The woman then called him and began screaming on the phone. The phone call led to an argument between Camille and Dimitri and she alleges that he "grabbed her by the hair, twisted it around his hand and repeatedly pulled her head into the bed and its headboard." Camille attests to losing some clumps of hair as a result of his actions.
Camille Grammer is having a rough time lately. Weeks after she announced she underwent a radical hysterectomy for endometrial cancer, Camille took to twitter to reveal she was a victim of domestic abuse.
"Info will come out today that is jaw dropping. And women can’t be silenced after being physically abused!"the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hillsstar wrote on her twitter on Monday.
Brandi has been over the moon recently with her latest relationship, one that she even shared a little bit about in her upcoming book Drinking and Dating: How Social Media Is Ruining Romance. Things in her love life took a disastrous turn this weekend and Brandi is single once again!
Brandi took to Twitter to share her heartache. "I'm BEYOND disgusted & disappointed in a man who claimed 2 love me right now." But on the bright side, she's gaining new material for her third book, she continued "Well at least I have a chapter in my next book!"
