So here’s a run-down of the behind-the-scenes reveals:
1. The producers lie to everyone. Case in point: Alexis Bellino. Alexis insists she quit;Heather Dubrow and Tamra Judge insist she was fired. At the CUT Fitness party, the opening party for season 8, after Alexis flees following the onslaught from the ladies, she is overheard telling the producers, “This is why I didn’t want to come back!” The producers admitted they worked behind the scenes to convince Alexis to return – including that Vicki Gunvalson would befriend her, and by hiring Lydia McLaughlin.
Heather Dubrow, benevolent dictatress and ever-so-snarky voice of reason on Real Housewives Of Orange County, is known for her calm, collected, witticisms that shoot through the BS like Lysol through a Mexican bachelorette party. She’s also known for her fabulous wardrobe, but that’s a whole ‘nother topic!
In anticipation of season 11, where Heather will finally unveil all 14 of the bathrooms in her massive new mansion, we’re remembering some of our favorite moments of Heather’s hubris – like the time she threw a fit over transporting her cake for her Colette champagne launch, and later we discovered the cake was fake! It was actually made of Styrofoam and inedible (#DietsByBravo). Good times!

Are y’all ready to see some house porn? They may have missed their March move-in deadline, but Heather Dubrow and husband Terryon the home stretch of finishing their dream mansion. Like the Real Housewives of Orange County couple, the home is small and understated, with just enough space for their family of six. And a hundred other people…and a tree…in the basement. I’m not positive, but I think their master bedroom is bigger than my entire house.
As furniture slowly but surely makes it way into the giant abode, dubbed Dubrow Chateau, the Botched star reveals he hasn’t been to the site in weeks. Heather insists her husband stay out of the construction phase because she doesn’t want his “constructive” (haha!) criticism. Of course, we’re sure to be treated to progress updates when the RHOC season debuts on June 20th. In the meantime, you can check out a video tour from Heather. I’m not going to say the rooms are so enormous that her voice echos, but…the rooms are so big her voice echos.
Steve, a would-be politician is currently running for Anaheim City Council under the platform that his past law enforcement experience will protect the city’s future, but Steve’s own past as an alleged dirty cop may come back to haunt him!
This week’s episode of Heather Dubrow’s World included some scoop on the new season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, plus a little info on the upcoming Season 8: Uncensored special. Heather also gave a quick update on the investment-gone-scam lawsuits.
Heather says that the RHOC cast filmed a cool special for a behind the scenes look at season 8 (we’re on season 11 right now, just fyi). Season 8 was the year Lydia McLaughlin joined. “They sat us all down and did interviews with us.” She says that it was the season that Gretchen Rossiproposed to Slade Smiley. Heather says they got to talk about anything and everything and break down the fourth wall during this look back. “We talked about the producers, we talked about the other cast members, it is so cool. I’ve seen pieces of it. It’s funny, it’s sad – some of it, and it’s interesting.”
Tamra has been training for months by lifting weights, doing a ton of cardio at CUT Fitness, and eating super clean – then she grabbed her glamsquad and showed off her muscles in an itty-bitty sequined bikini. #AbsForJesus.
Below are photos from Tamra’s fitness competition and also the RHOC finale party.
