Despite all the drama – and some sketchy rumors that she was fired – Tamra promises to return next season! When asked on twitter if she was leaving after this season, Tamra responded “not a chance.” Adding, “I have been told im the highest rated on our show. Just keeping it real baby” Well, of course she is – real classy!
Luckily being part of the show taught Shannon a lot of lessons about herself. Like she doesn’t have to be manipulated by middle-aged mean grandmas girls like Tamra Barney and that she is a big enough person to actually accept an apology and be sincere, unlike Heather Dubrow. As Shannon reflects on the season and gives her two-cents on the ridiculous finale.
“When I first met Tamra, she continually complained about her relationship with Heather. I never suggested that Tamra stay away from Heather, that Heather was evil, or that Heather was a horrible person. I did say that I saw black in Heather’s eyes on the day that she kicked me out of her house,” Shannon begins.
Last night was the season finale of The Real Housewives Of Orange County and everyone was ready to move forward. I mean after verbally decimating each other again. Or if you ask Heather Dubrow “pugilistically” arguing! Yes, the highlight of the episode was when Mrs. Perfect Always Right used her vocab word incorrectly!
The ladies are back from Bali and one person truly embraced the spirit of reincarnation to shed all the dead weight (did the fish eat it?): Shannon Beador! She’s a whole new woman – she and David are even sleeping in the same bed. Despite her issues with Tamra and Heather, Shannon wants to move forward (catchphrase of the night) so she’s attending Vicki Gunvalson‘s party with positive energy and no hard feelings. If only… if only feelings were likewise.
Over at Tamra Barney‘s home for the grudge-holding, snarling biatches, she’s still spitting mad that she got called out. And ain’t nobody gonna escape her wrath! Tamra reveals that she took an earlier flight home to escape the girls and now she doesn’t want to go to Vicki’s party because Lizzie Rovsekis the devil in an ugly dress. In Tamra’s mind Lizzie is something from an R.L Stine’s Goosebumps novel (4th grade reading level!). She calls Heather, who is now totally team Tamra. Tamra has a million excuses for all the horrible things she has done and said – and how everyone else is worse; Tamra spins things more than my washing machine. But unlike my washer – the dirt isn’t coming out!
Her marriage exploded on camera, she was the subject of lies and backstabbing from supposed friend Tamra Barney, and Shannon brought out the worst in Heather Dubrow, who simply cannot accept an apology or be gracious. And it’s not over yet!
Tonight is the season finale and after an explosive confrontation with Tamra in Bali, the ladies return to Orange County, but the drama is anything but over. Shannon has no regrets, however, and shares that she returned from Bali a changed woman ready to conquer her marital issues! Does this mean a little less Dr. Moon time and a little more David is not in the guest room time? Let’s hope.
“I went to Bali… I had some realizations while I was there about wanting to be a more peaceful person so I came home and started to implement those things. So you really don’t get to see it – maybe a little bit in the last episode,” Shannon shares.
Oh it makes me sad – but it looks like another end to an infamous reality TV friendship! After a season full of Tamra Barney‘s crazy ish-stirring antics, even long-time bestie Vicki Gunvalson is tired of the nonsense.
Vicki was visibly shocked after her Real Housewives Of Orange County co-stars apprised her of Tamra’s backstabbing behavior while in Bali. Tamra faced a trial by fire in which she fled the scene, claiming she feared saying something she’d regret. While Vicki had nothing to say at the time, she has plenty to say about Tamra now – and she’s officially over the drama!
“Tamra saying that I wanted to her to ‘go down’ isn’t the truth,” Vicki says. “I cherish my girlfriends and their trust, and there is NO way I ever had any desire to see her ‘go down’ or be hurt this year.”
“I’m tired of her causing problems and never being called out on it because of people fearing her backlash,” Vicki admits. “Every season and every year, she has gone after someone. I don’t know if that’s for the show or if it’s really how she is.”
After a confrontation in Bali helmed by Lizzie Rovsek, Tamra has been left virtually friendless among her castmates. Tamra believes Lizzie orchestrated the entire showdown to remain relevant on the show and get some attention.
“For the life of me I have no idea why Lizzie has such a problem with me. I was always so nice to her. One thing that comes to mind is maybe she is used to being the center of attention? So, when things don’t go her way she tries to destroy me and even threatens to destroy her own marriage. She can not handle NOT being the princess of O.C., and she will fight for the RHOC crown. Good luck girl I am not giving that up without a fight,” Tamra says. Oh dear lord…
Princesses, crowns – ladies, aren’t we a little old for this? This isn’t Real Housewives of PreSchool. Oh wait…
