The viewer numbers for Sunday – reality TV's busiest night – are in!

Good news: Keeping up with the Kardashians ruled the night. (Obviously, I mean good news for them, not us!)  2.83 million people (up from 2.6) tuned in to see the Kim and Kompany in Greece.  And Hollywood Exes finally saw an increase!  The show premiered to 1.7 million viewers, fell to 723,000 its third week, and came back with 957,000 this week

Decent news: Sister Wives attracted 1.97 million viewers. Sure, that's down from its premiere, but kudos for them for having any viewers at all. (ICK. I can't STAND that guy!)

Bad news: Real Housewives of New Jersey fans came in droves to see the Joes fight (2.7 and 2.83 million the past two weeks) but fell to 2.48 now that the drama is over. I'm curious to see if Joe and  Teresa Giudice's real time legal issues  affect RHONJ's ratings.  And only 798,000  regretful  viewers cared to watch Ashlee's meltdown on Princesses: Long Island.

They say a tough situation determines your friends from your enemies! I guess you could say Teresa Giudice has a real friend in Kim DePaola. Who woudda thunk it?!

In response to Teresa's recent indictment, Kim is defending her friend and fellow Real Housewives of New Jersey star. "Knowing Teresa as well as I know her, and I think I know her, I don't think she would ever willingly do any of this," Kim insists to Us Weekly.

Kim just doesn't think Teresa would knowingly take the risk! "She has four kids. I don't think she's capable of it. I think there's been a witch-hunt going on for a long time for her."

Rumor has it Teresa is setting up a defense that while she participated in what Joe Giudice was doing, she was pretty clueless about what she was signing, etc.

Teresa and Joe Giudice arrive at federal court

Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe Giudice were indicted on 39-counts of money fraud earlier this week. Yesterday the couple was released on $500,000 bond each and it was discovered that Joe isn't even a U.S. citizen and faces deportation if convicted. So yeah, good times!

In August the couple meets back in court where both plan to enter Not Guilty pleas, but it's apparently Teresa will try to get out of jail time while Juicy does the dirty work. Hey – they do have four kids AND a reality television career to nurture!

Speaking of reality TV, Teresa's attorney Henry Klingeman is targeting Real Housewives of New Jersey as the reason Teresa and Joe are in such trouble. Oh rlllly…

Teresa and Joe Giudice arrive at federal court

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice is going to have to get used to some of her haters and frienemies reveling in her new fraud indictment news.  First in line to throw salt on the fresh wounds? Former RHONJ shit-stirrer Kim Granatell – aka Kim G.

Kim went off on a Twitter rant this afternoon, seeming to enjoy every minute of Teresa's new scandal and offering her a glimpse of what life in prison might be like.

Kim started off with a few Tweets this morning, "God is good. Finally, justice shall prevail. Every dog has her day and today is her day. Woof woof!!!"

Teresa And Joe Giudice Court Appearance

Teresa Giudice is in big trouble! And not the kind of generic fodder for tabloids that usually erupts on reality TV shows.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star has just been federally indicted on 39-counts of financial fraud along with her husband Joe Giudice. Teresa and Joe both plan to plead Not Guilty and it's clear Teresa is going to try and dumb her way out of this because she has a lot to lose in going to prison. Hey, Martha Stewart's career survived, maybe Teresa's can as well?

Reality Tea's source tells us EXCLUSIVELY that while Teresa is putting on a tough exterior, reality is for real hitting home for the Giudices and things are a mess!

"Teresa and Joe are a nervous wreck," our source reveals. "Joe's parents went to court with him and Teresa today. Things are bad."

I'm convinced if their businesses bazillion ventures fail or they bid farewell to reality television (either by choice or incarceration), the women of Real Housewives of New Jersey could make fabulous livings as spin instructors.  They certainly must get a good work out changing their stories every five seconds.  All of the women are guilty of it, but Teresa Giudice and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga are shining professionals when it comes to spinning their version of events to make them the good guy.  Hey, at least it's entertaining!

After being accused of threatening Melissa in her blog last week, Teresa clarifies her words in yesterday's Bravo entry.  She promises that all of the family (well, maybe not ALL of them…she implies that one little lady is still up to her evil ways) is trying to make things better after that dramatic retreat.  Tre writes, "What did you think of the Miracle at St. George? I think I haven't cried that much in my whole life. I cried all over again watching it. All this nonsense about our family not getting along for 10 years just isn't true."

Teresa continues, "You can tell from how we were at the end of the episode — cooking and laughing and enjoying each other like close families do. I wish I could have had every one of you in the room with us to feel the love. You deserve it after watching our darkest moments! Thank you all so much for keeping the faith in my family!"  No problem, Billy Joel!  Happy to oblige.  Teresa is right on that front…we have seen a lot of darkness with the women of RHONJ, and I for one welcomed the reprieve!

Teresa and Joe Giudice arrive at federal court

The Teresa Giudice fraud case is just getting underway and we're all on the edge of seats waiting to see how this will play out.  Joe and Teresa are in court this morning and obviously ready to crack under the pressure of it all – if Joe's temper is any indication.

Until we hear more after their court hearing, we just wanted to share this piece of reading to hold you over.  Here is the full indictment – it lists everything they Giudices are being accused of.  It's pretty mind blowing and worth the 33 page read.

Teresa and Joe Giudice arrive at federal court

Teresa Giudice and Joe Giudice have just left court!

In the brief hearing, which lasted about an hour, the Real Housewives of New Jersey stars were each released on $500,000 unsecured bail bonds by a federal judge.

Per the terms: Teresa and Joe "must surrender their passports and they are not allowed to leave New York or New Jersey until their next hearing, which is scheduled for Aug. 14."

The hearing also revealed that Joe is not a legal U.S. Citizen despite being married to Teresa for 15 years. Joe was born in Italy and will have to submit to drug testing. Teresa will not.

A witness tells Us Weekly Teresa and Joe were "very solemn" during the hearing, but there were "no tears" and their demeanor was "very professional."
