There have been daily stories since Teresa Giudice entered prison last Monday to serve her fifteen month sentence. The media has been dissecting everything from what her beauty routine will be to what Joe is doing every waking moment while she’s gone. Daily Mail even has photographers basically stalking every single move of Joe and their four daughters. Outside their gate, at Gia’s cheer competition, everywhere.
Last weekend many were wondering why Teresa’s family didn’t head off to visit her at Danbury and the answer is very simple. Our source dishes on the reasons why. “Joe took Gia to her cheer competitions all weekend. Gia had competitions Saturday and Sunday. Teresa doesn’t want any disruption in their schedules to come visit her. She misses them terribly, but wants their life to be as normal as possible.”
Teresa Giudice is officially an inmate at Danbury Correctional Institute where she will remain until 2016. While her newest attorney (there’s been a string of ’em) James J. Leonard Jr. has speculated the Real Housewives Of New Jersey star will be out by Christmas of next year, the prison lists it just a leeeetle later than that!
Teresasurrendered to Danbury in the wee hours of the morning on January 5th to avoid the media circus (consisting of Bravo cameras following a sobbing Jacqueline Laurita and desperate Kathy Wakile) already forming outside of her house, and because she didn’t want to expose her daughters to any more negative publicity. Danbury has her prisoner Register Number as 65703-050.
Our source shared with us today that both Teresa and Joe are trying to be strong for their girls, but it’s definitely a struggle. Teresa will get to chat with her daughters today and see them already this weekend. Plus, the rumors of an early birthday party for Gia were true.
It looks like Teresa Giudice might not be spending the whole year of 2015 in federal prison. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star’s lawyer spoke out this morning about Teresa’s last hours as a free woman and when we can expect her back home with her family.
Teresa will have to serve at least 85% of her 15 months, so her attorney James J. Leonard Jr. shared this morning that she may be out by year’s end. “We project she will be home sometime before Christmas.”
Our inside sources (not the same one who confirmed that they’d heard the raid story was true..we’re no longer taking tips from that one) shared with us that most of the stories written about Teresa’s final days before heading off to serve her 15 month sentence were totally fabricated. “So much out there about Teresa’s last days. Radar never has the right info! I can tell you first hand what’s been going on.”
Melissa gave a shout out on Twitter to those who helped style her for the big night out, “Happy New year everyone I wish you so many blessings in 2015. Thank you @ginjerboutique for my feathers/bling NYE outfit @bottegasb for my long locks & @nikkiikasak for makeup #makeithappenin2015.”

The video produced by Haute Hostess features the Real Housewives Of New Jersey stars discussing their New Years plans and what they hope to accomplish in 2015. For Teresa… you might think that resolution includes surviving prison, or building a better life for herself while serving time, but nope – it’s to eat less carbs. Seriously. I dunno… T, beggars can’t be choosers, I’m pretty sure it’s gonna be vending machine food and whatever is in the commissary!
