The reality TV viewer numbers for Sunday and Monday are in – and it's good news all around. Nearly all the shows saw an increase in viewership this week.
On Sunday, the season finale of Hollywood Exes garnered 723,000 viewers, which was up from last week's 581,000. Season two started strong, premiering to 1.7 million, but quickly declined. The season average was 826,583 viewers.
Teresa hopped on her blog this week to talk family healing (I want to gouge my eyes out every time I see that phrase this season) and to call out co-stars Caroline Manzo and Kathy Wakile on things they said. She also dishes on her new dessert and coffee line and reiterates that things are great with her family right now.
First, Teresa professes her love for the least worst reunion of all time. And also declares crazy table flipper Teresa as a thing of the past. "Of all the Reunions I've ever been to, this one was the best. I know that's like saying something is the best worst, because the Reunions are never fun. They are brutal, long, and everyone ends up frazzled. But compared to other years, I guess what I'm most proud of is how I didn't let other people upset me. That old table-flipping Teresa is long gone. I've learned a lot by watching myself on television, and I hope I've changed for the better. We're all works in progress and we'll all keep growing."
If you never thought the day would come when Melissa Gorga dropped the victim act; well you're wrong!
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star took to twitter to admit that maybe, just maybe the nonsense with Teresa Giudice is so over. Oh yeah – and that possibly she also has something to do with the problems in their relationship. I kid you not – THIS REALLY HAPPENED!
Last week Johnny Karagiorgis was threatening to sue Bravo and other Real Housewives of New Jersey cast members related to a brawl that took place at the Moxie Salon/Posche 2 opening. Johnny believed producers and cast members conspired against him to lure into a confrontation and that the fight was pre-meditated for a storyline.
On October 2nd Johnny and his wife Penny Karagiorgis officially filed a lawsuit in Hackensack, N.J! Named as defendants are Joe Gorga, Jacqueline Laurita, Chris Laurita, Sirens Media LLC (the producers of RHONJ), NBC Universal (Bravo's parent company), Bravo Media, and Moxie Salon. Kim DePaola is not specifically named as a defendant despite everyone claiming she orchestrated at least part of the set-up!
Johnny believes the incident was arranged to increase ratings. Jacqueline, on the other hand, denies any such incidents occurred!
I just don't know what to think about Real Housewives of New Jersey. I always have such hope! Despite an entire season of therapy and what seemed like true reconciliation, the Giudice and the Gorga families are right back where they started.
At last night's reunion it was revealed that the families didn't see each other all summer. Reality Tea's source gives us an exclusive on what's happened since the reunion taped and where the families stand.
This weekend Teresa Giudice's daughter Gabriella celebrated her 9th birthday and while Melissa Gorga attended, Reality Tea's source reveals that Joe Gorga did not! "Of course, Teresa was upset. Melissa did attend, Gabriella is her godchild." Above is the entire family at the party, Poison isn't there!
All season long there has been a ton of speculation about how Johnny The Greek and Penny Karagiorgis not only appeared on the scene but seemed to have so. much. inside. information. about everyone! But most specifically, Melissa Gorga! All fingers pointed to Teresa Giudice, our intrepid Melissa-hatin' Housewife. But perhaps, just perhaps, there was a lurking saboteur that was actually the mad pot stirrer of the RHONJ universe: Kathy Wakile! Is she Wallpaper no more?
After last night's reunion during which Teresa was prepped for federal court testimony grilled again about where Penny came from, Teresa allegedly re-tweeted an article pointing out that it is actually KATHY who has "The Grk" connection. I never saw Teresa's tweet, so I'm going by the rumor-mill here. The connection? Kathy's daughter Victoria happens to be be BFF with Johnny's niece a girl named Marigo Mihalos.
Last night was the first part of the Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion. Right off the bat the vibe was immediately much different than last years – which was awesome. Teresa Giudice seemed relaxed-ish and confident. Jacqueline Laurita had great hair. And Caroline Manzo's head wasn't smoking. So yay for progress. Everyone was very orange though, but you know it could've been my TV.
Andy Cohen jumps right in. It's clear that some people really either took to heart the therapy and forgiveness, while others cannot and will not let go. Maybe some people really do value their friendships over a show, or maybe it's because they're leaving they want to go out on a good note – whatever.
Caroline has definitely decided that since she is officially done with this show, it's time to get. honest. And getting honest means calling Melissa Gorgaout! Caroline points out that Melissa and Teresa are eerily similar in many ways. While Teresa blinks profusely and thinks carefully about what the word "similar" means, Melissa gets combative and denies, denies, denies! "We're nothing alike. If we were alike, we'd be able to get along," she insists. Melissa insists that at their core she and Teresa are different people. Good thing she cleared that up cause on the surface they're both materialistic, self-absorbed, attention whores! And at their core, they're both rotten!
From the look of the previews, we'll be getting some rehashes of the cheating rumors, the Posche drama (what's allowed legally anyway!), refreshers on the therapy retreats, and even touching a bit on the Joe & Teresafraud charges.
We initially thought the reunion was going to be another three part extravaganza like last year, but it's actually only two this time around – with a twist. The reunion shows will run 90 minutes each instead of one hour.
