She may have gotten downgraded to a “friend” of the housewives of this season (maybe on the Real Housewives of New Jersey it’s being relegated to a “relative” of the housewives!), but Kathy Wakile is using her free time constructively. Kathy has finally penned her first cookbook regaling her love of dessert making. Her cannoli kits have even been featured on RHONJ.
Maybe it’s because she’s sweeter than her co-stars (bad pun!), but Kathy is excited to feature her in bite-sized bits of deliciousness in“Indulge: Delicious Little Desserts that Keep Life Real Sweet” (St. Martin’s Griffin, $26.99), and she’s not even trying to compete with another cast member/friend/relative who is also delving into the dessert realm after building her food empire. Table flipping anyone?
The second half of the new season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey is going to be an explosive one! Shocking, right? This afternoon Bravo released a mid-season trailer to get fans excited about the upcoming episodes and it doesn’t disappoint.
First, we have the return of Jacqueline Laurita. Jacqueline will be there for Teresa Giudice as she faces the outcome and repercussions of pleading guilty to fraud in Federal Court and also to share more about her family’s journey with autism and the struggles (and triumphs) that accompany it.
Teresa deals with the aftermath of pleading guilty and her potential sentencing and also contemplates sending the Giudice head of household, aka Milania, off to boarding school. She’s kidding. We think.
You know, for being such an important guy who has so many important jobs, Jim Marchese sure has a lot of free time to gossip about Real Housewives of New Jersey. Do not even get me started on his Twitter activity. Oy. Most recently, Jim chatted with AfterBuzz TV about all the drama, his friendship with Bobby Ciasulli, the casting process, and more. And he did not hold back!
When asked if Real Housewives of New Jersey was the first reality TV experience for him and his wife, Amber Marchese, Jim said, “My first. Amber actually appeared on Restaurant Stakeout. But this is my first exposure to the wonderful world of reality TV.”
“Amber was contacted in February,” continued Jim. “They didn’t really tell us the name of the show at the time or any of the details. We ended up coming on board March/April of 2013. It was exciting for her and a real nice opportunity for me. My role was going to be very limited – just around my wife, around my children, and to help my friend at the time Bobby.”
Teresa has pretty much moved in at the courthouse, which I suppose is better than a jail cell, because Teresa and Joe returned to court to finally discharge their Chapter 7 filing of which there were 45 claimants.
“The case is fully and properly accounted for as provided by law. The trustee hereby requests to be discharged from further duties as a trustee,” the trustee, John W. Sywilok stated in court documents.
Joe and Melissa Gorga are continuing to battle their tenant and prospective owner of their Montville mansion in eviction proceedings. It’s been back and forth for a couple months with the Gorgas vs. Kai Patterson. Kai was ordered to move out, but then had it reversed when a judge uncovered the Gorgas had never legally declared the property as a rental. Kai believe that is because they wanted to deceive people into believing they had sold their dilapidating mansion instead of renting it out.
The unresolved issues resulted in a trial, which is supposed to conclude tomorrow. Yesterday Joe testified in court in an attempt to evict Kai stating his tenant owes $192,557 in unpaid rent. Kai argued that he was withholding rent because of incomplete repairs (including massive plumbing problems) which Joe promised to make.
Trying to prove he was like all serious yo, Joe toted along not one, not two, but THREE attorneys in an attempt to remove Kai from the property so Melissa can move out of her “disgusting” rental and move back into the mansion she once couldn’t stand. How are they affording all these legal fees, I wonder? The garbage business?
A story exploded that the twins’ mother Santa once had an affair with Teresa Aprea‘s husband Rino (while their father was allegedly in prison, no less!). While the twins haven’t out and out denied the story, they are said to be furious at Bravo for bamboozling them and secretly conspiring with Victoria Gotti to air this super personal and private information – without even warning them that it was coming!
As a result Nicole Napolitano and Teressssssssssa were said to be so angry and embarrassed they quit RHONJ mid-season and refused to film additional scenes! Of course this rumor is brought to you by Jim Marchese and his super fascinating twitter feed!
When a twitter user asked Jim if Bravo producers used Victoria to reveal the rumor because they couldn’t get the information on their own, Jim agreed. Jim replied, “The twins quit because of this, so I guess Bravo is trying to soften the blow in case they want them back.”
First, Amber felt the need to respond to Nicole‘s previous blog. Nicole wrote: “It was hard for me to go back to that happy place this week due to the negativity in Amber’s blogs this season and both Amber and Jim’s comments on social media. There’s a difference between right and raunchy, and my children do not need to be subjected to their vile and inherently evil comments.”
“All of my blogs thus far have been a reflection of my feelings and of my perspective on the situation at the time it occurred,” shared Amber. “If I am angry, I will say. If I need to call bullsh– out when I see it, I will and will always call it how I see it. I am straight shooter and very honest. There is not a single manipulative or lying bone in my body, and I stand behind every action that I have done in my entire life, both the good or bad decisions that I have made.”
