After the loss of her mother, and the usual stress of filming Real Housewives of New Jersey, I feel like Teresa Giudice could use some quality time with the family. And it looks like she and her adorable daughters are having a fun time on their Puerto Rico vacation. She also brought her father Giacinto Gorga along for the trip.
Teresa, Gia, Gabriella, Audriana – and the true star of RHONJ – Milania enjoyed lots of fun activities, including lounging on the beach, paddle boarding, jet skiing, and roasting s’mores. That definitely sounds more enjoyable than the drama-filled vacations with the actual cast members.
So naturally Kim did what all the reality stars and their sidekicks do: headed to social media. Kim let everyone know she spotted the copycat look immediately and she didn’t hold back her thoughts on the situation.
I always wonder what really happened when a Real Housewife says she is leaving a Real Housewives show “to pursue other opportunities” or some other vague statement about moving on. With some serious exceptions, I can’t imagine why anyone would quit a show with such a large platform, so I always find it tough to believe that any of these ladies leave of their own accord. Jacqueline Laurita came clean about why she will not be back on Real Housewives of New Jersey.
As a viewer, I am honestly not a fan of Jacqueline’s, but as a self-proclaimed reality TV expert, I feel like this show needs her around to provide opposition and controversy. Sure, I could do without the popcorn promotion and the plastic surgery testimonials, but without Jacqueline we are left watching a bunch of people who get along going on local trips and cooking Sunday dinners. Even the biggest Jacqueline haters have to admit that she does have a vital role on this show. Or at the very least she needs to be replaced with someone who has just as much (if not) more drama with the rest of the cast.
I thought Teresa Giudice put all her legal issues behind her, but that is not the case. A judge reinstated her lawsuit against her former bankruptcy attorney. Teresa believes that the lawyer’s inferior work is what landed her in prison for fraud.
I feel like if I were Teresa, I would just move forward and focus on my adorable kids, tone my body with yoga, and rack in the cash from Instagram posts. It’s also surprising that Teresa is pushing this since she refuses to acknowledge her time in jail “away” and this just bringing that all up again.
I have no idea how interesting these episodes will be since these four ladies all seem to get along well, but I guess we will find out soon enough. I just wish that Jacqueline Laurita or Danielle Staub were there to keep things interesting, but I don’t blame Melissa for wanting to celebrate her birthday in peace.
Kim DePaola has just found herself, or her car rather, in the center of drama far bigger than anything on Real Housewives Of New Jersey! Police are investigating her car after it was found tied to a bizarre execution style double murder! No, I am not kidding.
In this truly strange story, two badly burned bodies were discovered in an Audi registered to Kim and regularly driven by her sonChris Camiscioli. Upon further investigation police found that both victims had been shot in the head before the car with the bodies inside was torched using large quantities of gasoline. They are still trying to determine the identities of the deceased. One of whom is believed to be a friend of Chris’s who was borrowing his car after dropping Chris off at the airport last Wednesday.
Even though I was super excited to see what Teresa Giudice was going to be like post-prison when the last Real Housewives of New Jersey premiered, I was honestly pretty disappointed in the season overall. Pretty much nothing happened. Teresa became super zen and made up with Melissa Gorga and the only scandalous things that happened revolved around Jacqueline Laurita feuding with Teresa and/or Melissa. Now, I don’t know what to expect from the next season since it’s being reported that Jacqueline will not be a part of the cast!
I was usually a part of #TeamTeresa in her conflicts with Jacqueline, but now I feel like the next season is going to be boring without someone to fill that role as a villain. The original bad girl of RHONJDanielle Staub will be back, but she’s on good terms with Teresa nowadays. I am not excited for a whole season of self-promotion and conflict-free episodes.
It is with a heavy heart that I write that Teresa Giudice’s mother has passed away. Y’all know I love this job, as it’s fun to snark on the world of reality television stars, but, as with this post, we are often reminded that they aren’t just present for our entertainment and amusement. Regardless of their attitudes, their flaws, their ridiculous quirks, or their over-the-top personalities, reality stars are actually real people who experience highs, lows, loves, and losses just like the rest of us.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star encapsulates so much of what we love to hate, hate to watch, and are mesmerized by thanks to her opulent lifestyle, unabashed and unapologetic relationships with family and friends, countless legal woes, and prison terms. However, at her core, Teresa is just a woman who lost someone so incredibly near and dear to her, and I feel horribly that she has to go through it. Coming on the heels of so much other drama in her life, it must be shattering to her.
