The tension between Ramona Singer and Bethenny Frankel has been lingering for most of this Real Housewives of New York season. It pretty much all stems from when Ramona asked Bethenny if her six-year-old daughter was aware of a topless scene she did in a movie. Ever since then, Bethenny has wanted nothing to do with her…. other than the events they’re contractually obligated to attend as cast members of the same reality show.
Bethenny has been doing her best to pretend that Ramona doesn’t exist and Ramona mistook the (initial) lack of arguing as an indication of peace. Of all people to teach Ramona to be self-aware, it was Sonja Morgan who pointed out that Bethenny was still very mad at Ramona and then the episode ended on a cliff hanger with Bethenny and Ramona screaming at each other. This means that the feud will continue for the entire season at least another episode.
I think I can speak for the better part of The Real Housewives of New York viewing audience when I kindly request that they make the Tom D’Agostino storyline just STOP already. (Please? We will do anything – we will watch Sonja Morgan go in for vaginal rejuvenation number two! We will welcome Jill Zarin back with open arms! We will watch that friggin election party again – okay, too far.) Because when it comes to this dusty old Tom story, I have to channel Ramona Singer here and ask, are you kidding me? Are you KIDDING me? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?!
Alas, I regret to inform you that despite our better wishes, the ladies decide it’s still a wise idea to confront Luann de Lesseps about her upcoming nuptials to dear, openly-cheating Tomfor the seven hundredth time. In this week’s installment of Are You Sure You Want To Be A Bride, Luann?Ramona leads the charge, with Bethenny Frankel throwing some tears and bizarre begging in for good measure. Then, Ramona and Bethenny go at it head to head in what may be the final round of their friendship. This all occurs after Ramona nearly literally turns herself into the cartoon character version of her former, batsh*t self. So, strap in!
Things got a little rockier between Sonja Morgan and Tinsley Mortimer last week on The Real Housewives of New York City. Tinsley explains her side of the drama over answering the door and abusing assistant privileges.
She starts off by sharing what a lovely job Dorinda Medley did when readying her home for the holidays. “After hearing so much about it from Sonja, being invited to the Berkshires was like finding Willy Wonka’s golden ticket…OR getting invited to the North Pole. I’m seriously convinced Dorinda’s day job is being Mrs. Claus, and Blue Stone Manner is actually Santa’s work shop. Her house is gorgeous, particularly with the abundance of beautiful Christmas decorations everywhere.”
Bethenny Frankel’s summer plans just got a little more interesting. As always, she’ll be spending time (in her bikini) in the Hamptons with her daughter, Brynn, and cruising around in her Skinnygirl mobile. But now Bethenny has upped the ante, revealing that she plans to do some serious dating this summer!
Luann de Lesseps is weighing in on last week’s episode of The Real Housewives of New York. The new Mrs. D’Agostino is convinced that her co-stars have nothing better to do than dish on her relationship with Tom. Lu is pretty sure that Dorinda Medley is a victim of the other women filling her head with lies. Bethenny Frankel also shares her own two cents, revealing that she’s pretty sure Dorinda’s Berkshire home induces the crazy in everyone!
Lustarts her blog, “What should have been a relaxing girls’ getaway to celebrate Dorinda’s birthday and the holidays somehow turned into relationship intervention. Don’t these women have anything else to talk about besides my upcoming nuptials? I am two weeks away from walking down the aisle, and the girls can’t seem to let go of their obsession with Tom.”
Eric and Bethenny maintained that they are “just friends,” which we all expected them to do, but Bethenny did admit to dating another famous New Yorker. Thankfully the man I’m alluding to isn’t Tom D’Agostino, but anything is possible at this point.
