On the heels of her ‘Non mutha-f*ckin factor’ t-shirts, Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada is moving on to a new venture!

The VH1 reality star recently announced her plans to pen and release a series of books called “The Wives Association.” So will these books be tell-alls? That answer is a no and yes as Evelyn, 34, reveals it will be a series of novels which will fictionalized based on some of her own experiences of being involved with a professional athlete (she dated NBA player Antoine Walker for 10 years).

The novel’s main character will be Evelyn’s alter ego, Eve Inez-Landon. “I have a bunch of journals from when I was in my previous relationship and I would write down everything that was going on of how I felt, or what was going on in my life,” said Evelyn to EUR Web. “And then when I started moving out, I found these journals and I started reading them. And I’m like, ‘Oh my God, this is crazy – everything that I went through!’”

Evelyn adds that the stories will also include that of other athlete wives and girlfriends. “I have a lot of girlfriends that were married, and still married to a lot of these players. And the stories you hear – what goes on with the staff, and just living in that circle – I don’t think anybody can relate unless you live in it. So I figure why not come out and make a juicy book about it,” said Evelyn.

In other news, following the dramatic showdown on the last episode of Basketball Wives, Jennifer Williams is now talking about her relationship, or lack there of, with costar Royce Reed, mostly Royce’s decision to keep in touch with her ex Eric Williams on the twitter.

“I felt like she just stabbed me in the back,” said Jennifer to the HollywoodLife. “I was disappointed that she would even stoop that low. There are just certain codes that people need to respect and that’s one of them. It’s inappropriate.”

“I think it’s just girlfriends 101 — there are certain things you don’t do,” continued Jennifer. “I don’t think she would appreciate if I was doing that to one of her exes. I was just trying to get her to see the point.”

As for Evelyn’s violent reaction to Royce during the sitdown, Jennifer states Evelyn was just trying to defend her. “Sometimes talking to her [Royce] — it goes in one ear and out the other. She basically didn’t get it,” said Jennifer. “Evelyn was just defending me and it kind of took on a life of it’s own. So then they started arguing. And then Evelyn just picked up the drink and threw it at her. It got crazy.”

A new episode of the Basketball Wives airs tonight on VH1 at 8/7c!

TELL US – THOUGHTS ON EVELYN’S BOOK WRITING PLANS AND JENNIFER’S COMMENTS? IS ROYCE WRONG FOR KEEPING IN TOUCH WITH ERIC? WILL YOU READ EVELYN’S BOOKS?

On last night’s episode of Basketball Wives, the drama between Evelyn Lozada and Royce Reed explodes, Meeka interviews both sides to see which one she’d rather be on and tries to get into Shaunie‘s good graces, Evelyn starts the IVF process, and Suzie attempts to be the peacemaker!

The show starts out with Royce and Suzie playing tennis – Royce obviously forgetting that tennis doesn’t involve a pool or a beach shows up practically wearing a bikini. She and Suzie talk about all the drama with Meeka, Evelyn, and Jen; Suzie – trying not to be involved suggests they all have a sit down so Royce can play 20 Questions and ask everyone who said: what? when? where? why? about her.

Following last week’s dramatic premiere, the latest episode of Basketball Wives was more on the mellow end, or more accurately the calm before the storm. This week, we discover Suzie has no back bone, Meeka is might be two-faced, Tami is NOT a fan of the hand or Meeka, Jennifer wants to get her groove back, Evelyn’s solution to every problem is to get laid (preferably to a younger bloke), and also Shaunie has no storyline this season!

The episode begins with Jennifer and Tami catching up at Jen’s place, as Jennifer takes a break from being Evelyn’s shadow. Though I’m a tad surprised to see her breaking bread with Evelyn’s enemy. Tami brings up the t-shirt and lawsuit drama, while Jen tries to stay neutral on the issue.

Circle outcasts Royce and Suzie meet up to gossip grab a bite. The topic of convo is Jen’s ex Eric and Royce reveals she still keeps in touch with him via the twitter and it shouldn’t be a problem for Jen. The topic then turns to Evelyn and Royce wastes no time in trashing her. “I can change my hair. I can change my clothes. But she can’t change the fact that she’s a ho.” Ouch! When it comes to Jennifer, Royce and Suzie agree that she is “cool” when she’s not stuck up Evelyn’s butt. Err the jury is still out on that one.

The Basketball Wives officially return tonight with the premiere of their third season!

The new season began filming almost immediately following the season 2 reunion show so the drama is still very fresh with all the ladies. Tami Roman is still reeling from finding out Evelyn Lozada slept with her ex-husband, plus you know, that whole being called a “non muthaf*cking factor” thingy too.

A newly single Jennifer tries to find her way, a newly out of the circle Royce mends her friendships with Suzie and Tami, while Shaunie tries to stay out of the drama. New castmember Meeka Claxton also makes her debut tonight and wastes no time in getting right into the thick of things.

In an interview with NicoleBitchie, Shaunie O’Neal talks whether Gloria Govan is returning, slams Royce and takes a not so subtle dig at Meeka by pretty much saying she was desperate to get on the show. Excerpts are below -

Shaunie On Royce – “Royce is back. But truthfully I don’t really deal with her this season. After her behavior at the reunion show, I realized she wasn’t someone I wanted to give my time to… I think the rest of the girls and I have realized that Royce is the type of woman that constantly has to have some sort of drama going on, so we’ve come to expect it. She’s involved in some drama now, with Jen over the leaking of Royce’s pictures. So I try not to deal with her.”

Shaunie On Meeka’s Persistence In Joining The Show – “Meeka was very persistent. She reached out to us regularly, emailing her credentials, pictures, really letting us know why she belonged on the show.”[...]Well she’s already found some drama. I can’t give too much away but let’s just say, she had to learn the hard way.”

When asked whether Gloria will be returning this season, Shaunie replies, “Gloria is actually going to be apart of another show I’m doing.” As you all know, Gloria is currently a Lakers wife-in-waiting living in Los Angeles, which makes us wonder if a Basketball Wives Los Angeles spinoff is in the works.

The new season premieres tonight on VH1 at 8/7c. You can click here to watch the season 3 trailer!

TELL US – THOUGHTS ON SHAUNIE’S INTERVIEW, THE PREVIEW & TONIGHT’S NEW EPISODE?

They’re baaaack! Following their dramatic and highly rated second season, Basketball Wives returns to the VH1 network on May, 30 at 8/7c.

And judging from the newly released trailer posted below, the ladies pick right where they left off from the dramatic season 2 finale and reunion show. How dramatic? Let’s just say Evelyn and Royce get into a dramatic fist fight! There is also a new housewife in the mix this season as Meeka Claxton (pictured far right above) joins the cast. Meeka, co-owner of the Allure Realty Group, is married to former NBA player Speedy Claxton.

So what can we expect from Season 3? Well Shaunie O’Neal settles back into Miami determined to be drama free or leave the ladies alone while Evelyn Lozada makes the transition from a basketball wife to a football wife with fiancé Chad Ochocinco. The cameras will catch Jennier Williams finally leaving her husband and navigating a new lifestyle as a single lady.

With Royce Reed’s new larger than life attitude, viewers will see if there is enough room for involvement with Jen, Evelyn and Shaunie or if her attitude will take the spotlight. Left hurt and betrayed, Tami Roman works on rebuilding her trust for the ladies and moving on from the past.

TELL US – THOUGHTS ON THE TRAILER? ARE YOU EXCITED ABOUT THE NEW SEASON?

The VH1 network is planning to turn up the heat this summer with the announcement and premiere dates of some all-new series as well as returning favorites!

Basketball Wives – The biggest surprise of all is the very quick return of the Basketball Wives. While the second season only ended less than 2 months ago, season 3 will debut on May 30 at 9/8c. With the exception of Suzie Ketcham, who quit the show, all of the cast members including Royce Reed, Shaunie O’Neal, Evelyn Lozada, Tami Roman, and Jennier Williams will be returning. VH1 also announced that Meeka Claxton, wife of former NBA player Speedy Claxton, has joined the cast. According to reports Meeka and Tami have already gotten into a physical altercation during filming. A photo of Meeka is below!

Famous Food – The network confirmed what we reported weeks ago, which is that reality famewhores Danielle Staub, Heidi Montag, and Jake Pavelka will indeed star together on a new reality show. The concept of the reality show is that the famewhores are given an opportunity to create a flourishing and fully-operating restaurant. Over the course of eight weeks, the colorful crew of “celebrities” will roll up their sleeves and work together to launch their own restaurant, aptly named, “Famous Food.” Joining the above three famewhores will be DJ Paul and Juicy “J” (from rap group Three 6 Mafia), Ashley Dupre (famed ex-prostitute) and Vincent Pastore (“The Sopranos”). The show debuts Sunday, July 10 at 10/9c.

Tough Love – Also returning this summer is Tough Love: Miami. Steve Ward and his mother Joann Ward are back to help single women make a splash in the Miami dating pool. Steve will work with a group of eight single, attractive women, all composed of classic female archetypes including the “too much too soon” romantic, the “gold digger” and the late 30′s “work obsessed.” They will be living together in a house for 10 weeks and given a chance to learn Dating 101.”VH1 Tough Love: Miami” premieres Sunday, July 10 at 9/8c.

Celebrity Rehab – Season 5 of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew Pinsky and Michaele Salahi debuts Wednesday, June 29 at 10/9c. From heartbreak to hope, this season follows Dr. Drew and his patients on their difficult and deeply emotional journey to sobriety, as well as an often raw and unflinching look at the many faces of addiction. As we reported back during filming, Michaele got kicked off the show early on for not having an addiction. Joining Michaele this season are Michael Lohan, Bai Ling, Jeremy Jackson, and Dwight “Doc” Gooden.

Also returning, The T.O. Show season 3 will premiere Monday, August 22 at 10:30/9:30c and La La’s Full Court Life will debut the same night at 10/9c.

TELL US – WHICH VH1 SHOW ARE YOU MOST EXCITED ABOUT?

A week after the dramatic finale episode, which brought in very high ratings, the Basketball Wives reunion airs tonight on VH1.

Hosting the reunion this year will be former NBA star John Salley.  The ladies will all sit together to rehash the events that occurred this season, including the fight that broke out between Tami Roman and Evelyn Lozada last week, over Evelyn’s admission that she had slept with Tami’s ex-husband Kenny Anderson.

Since that episode aired, there have been rumors that Evelyn also slept with her BFF Jennifer Williams’s husband Eric Williams, but we can rest assure you that rumor is very false.

The reunion will be airing in two parts.  The first part airs tonight at 8/7c with part two airing tomorrow night, March 14 at 8/7c.  Gloria Govan will also be a part of the reunion show, appearing at some point.  A sneak peek is below.

In other news, it seems Royce Reed might be returning next season after all despite the recent comments made by Shaunie O’nealAccording to TMZ, Royce’s would be replacement Allison Mathis was axed by VH1 after her ex/baby daddy Chris Bosh put up a fight.

Apparently, Chris did not want Allison nor their daughter on the show, and VH1 simply decided Allison wasn’t worth the headache.  Sources say this move means Royce will likely be returning though producers are still hoping for a last-minute replacement.

TELL US – DO YOU WANT ROYCE TO RETURN? PLUS THOUGHTS ON THE PREVIEW & TONIGHT’S EPISODE?

It seems Royce Reed’s days on VH1′s Basketball Wives are numbered.

According to a TMZ report and a new interview by Shaunie O’Neal, Royce will likely be replaced on the third season. Though the second season is still airing on VH1, the network alongside Shaunie are already looking ahead.

Sources tell TMZ that Royce is on the chopping block because of her ongoing legal battle with her Orlando Magic baby daddy Dwight Howard. See, Dwight got a gag order on Royce back in 2009, thus prohibiting her from talking about Dwight or their son in the media or on the TV show. This is the reason Royce’s son has never appeared on the show.

And in a recent phone interview, Shaunie, who is also an executive producer on the show, echoes the same sentiment. “Royce is not guaranteed to come back for Season 3. We are really trying to come up with something else and she’s aware of it,” said Shaunie.

“Season 1 we establish [Royce] as Dwight Howard’s ex-girlfriend and mother of his son. Season 2, she’s now dating again, or dating other people that she seems to be pretty serious with,” Shaunie added. “And she can’t talk about her son, she can’t talk about Dwight, and it’s no connection any more, and the legal part of it has almost gotten more strict.”

So how does Royce feel about being on the chopping block? She tells TMZ she has other options, adding, “If they are indeed searching for a replacement for me it is what it is. It all seems petty and immature to me.”
