RadarOnline is stating the counseling sessions, taped months before the tragic suicide, will air in the next few weeks. “Bravo has done major editing of the show, to be sensitive to the fact that Russell killed himself. However the decision was made to air the footage of the therapy sessions,” a Bravo insider reveals.
The insider goes on to add that Taylor is in full support of Bravo’s decision. “Viewers will see the two of them with their marriage counselor, Dr. Charles Sophy, as well as individual sessions with Taylor. Russell’s one-on-one sessions will not air. Taylor is completely supportive of the decision, and thinks it will help battered women to make the decision to leave an abusive relationship, just like she did,” the insider adds.

TELL US – THOUGHTS ON BRAVO AIRING THE COUNSELING SESSIONS AND THOUGHTS ON BRANDI’S APPEARANCE ON TONIGHT’S EPISODE?
It appeared no topics were off limits as Dr. Phil hit Taylor, 40, with the hard questions. Taylor was asked to explain her name change, her lavish spending despite financial turmoil, and whether or not she believes the housewives contributed to Russell Armstrong’sdeath. Below are the highlights -
Taylor On Name Change – Early on in the interview, Dr. Phil asked Taylor about her name changes, most notably changing her last name to ‘Ford’ before she married Russell. Reports had stated she would tell people she was related to the Ford auto family. Taylor however claimed she changed her name in honor of the fashion designer Tom Ford. “I’m a big fan of Tom Ford and he’s a designer. Tom Ford, Taylor Ford, it’s similar so I just decided to legally change it,” said Taylor.
From Oklahoma To Beverly Hills – Taylor was also asked how she went from a small town girl from Oklahoma to having her life in disarray in Beverly Hills. “I believe that the majority of it stems from a lack of self-esteem, having abandonment issues and clinging to a relationship because I never addressed my own self-esteem issues. And I was willing to put my own well being aside.” She added that her lack of self-esteem came from growing up in an abusive household without a father, adding that she had a lot of “shame.”
Taylor’s Reasons For Doing RHOBH - “I would say that my primary motivation for doing the show was because I was in a dangerous situation in my home life and I felt like there was protection offered to me by having cameras in my life because how’s anything going to happen if there’s a camera there to document everything.”
Why Did Russell Do The Show? - Dr. Phil wondered why Russell, whom Taylor says physically abused her regularly, would agree to do a reality show. Taylor stated Russell simply felt he was untouchable: “There was a part of him that thought that he was impenetrable and that the world would fall in love with him.” When asked if she would do the show all over again knowing what she knows now, Taylor responded: “I don’t think the end result of what happened in the Tornado would have been any different with or without the camera present.”
Did RHOBH Contribute To Russell’s Death? - Taylor made it clear that the reality show should not be blamed for Russell’s suicide stating: “If we peel back the onion a little bit. The fact is that all the things again that he was concerned about coming out were a reality. The bankruptcy, the police reports about physical abuse in the past, me having reconstructive surgery on my eye — all of that was factual. That was reality.”
She added,”The fact that there was a camera sitting over here doesn’t change the fact that he made choices that were unacceptable. To feel as though that you’re going to be scrutinized for harming other people — that’s to be expected. “
Taylor Blames Finances For Russell’s Death – Taylor reveals that after spending many sleepless nights thinking about what was the final straw, she believes it was the “financial avalanche” Russell was facing. “I discover every day the gravity of what that looked like,” she said. “The one thing he wanted in his life more than anything was to be financially successful… And when he felt that he was failing at that, I think he saw the financial avalanche that was ahead of him and he felt he would never be able to crawl out from under it.”
Taylor Explains Lavish Spending – Like many others, Dr. Phil also wondered why the couple continued to spend lavishly amid financial difficulty. Most notably the now infamous $60,000 birthday birthday Taylor threw for her 5-year-old daughter Kennedy in season 1. Taylor pretty much stated that she did not pay $60,000 as the party vendors gave her free items and services in exchange for the free publicity. “Because that’s the value doesn’t mean that I wrote that check,” she added. Taylor also revealed she never had access to any of the couple’s finances.
Taylor stated that she couldn’t have been a gold digger because when she married Russell, he had just filed bankruptcy. “When I married my husband, he was penniless,” she said. She also added that Russell was “very charismatic” though he didn’t come across that way on the show.
In other news, Camille Grammer continues to get sweet revenge on her ex-husband Kelsey Grammer! Camille, 43, was pictured last night in West Hollywood as she stepped out with her new younger hotter beau! According to reports, Camille has been dating 35-year-old bankruptcy attorney Dimitri George Charalambopoulos for a few months.
“They’ve been dating for three months and she’s very into him,” a friend of Camille’s tellsLife & Style. “They spend a lot of time at her house in Malibu, but he hasn’t moved in. She says the chemistry is incredible.” Photos of Camille’s boyfriend below!

Taylor Armstrongis revealing all in a sit-down interview with Entertainment Tonight.
Over a month after the tragic suicide of her estranged husband Russell Armstrong, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hillsstar sat down with ET’s Nancy O’Dell. Taylor opened up on her marriage to Russell, details the abuse she experienced as well as the way she broke the news of Russell’s passing to their daughter Kennedy.
First Taylor, 40, describes what she says was the first time Russell, 47, abused her: “The first time he ever really harmed me physically, I was pregnant with Kennedy and he grabbed me by the throat and held me up against a wall,” she says. The reason for that abuse? He did not like the way she made pizza for his sons. “He grabbed me by the neck and shoved me up against the wall and he said, ‘If you ever make my children a pizza without a vegetable again, I’ll kill you…I saw his ability to go from zero to 60 that quickly.”
Following that first incident, the abuse continued on in her 6-year marriage. “You live your life constantly on eggshells waiting for the other shoe to drop,” Taylor tells Nancy. “You don’t know if you’re going to talk to your girlfriend too long at dinner and that’s going to cause someone to fly into a rage.”
She also states Russell was usually careful in the way he abused her, trying not to leave visible marks.”He would grab me by one side of the hair on my head and bang the other side of my head against the car,” she discloses adding that these would leave knots in her scalp. She cries as she recounts, “He would say to me, ‘I’m afraid I’m going to kill you one day.'”
According to Taylor, Russell abused her about 20 times throughout their marriage, citing the last time (the same incident in which she took photos at the hospital) was one of the most brutal attacks. Taylor says Russell punched her in the eye after she came back home from filming her birthday party in Las Vegas. He had accused her of ignoring him and seeing another man. Taylor states she felt her “eyeball shift.”
After landing in the hospital, she states Russell told her to tell doctors 5-year-old Kennedy accidentally kicked her in the eye with her shoe. Taylor also adds that Russell was with her while she checked into the hospital and talked to doctors. She adds that the doctors were suspicious but never called the cops.
Following the final incident, Russell finally realized just how severe their problem was according to Taylor. “When I finally showed him the MRI he just put it down and started to cry. And I think it was him having to come to terms with the fact that this had gone on for too long, and that this time he really could’ve hurt me beyond what could’ve been repaired.”
Taylor goes on to reveal how she broke the horrible news of Russell’s death to Kennedy. “I just told her that daddy got sick and he died … ,” said Taylor adding she told the 5-year-old that “we could pick a star in the sky and it could be daddy, and that she could talk to him every night.”
As for why she’s going public with her story, Taylor reveals she’s doing it in hopes that she can help other women experiencing the same thing. When asked why she never called cops during the abuse, she states she never wanted Russell to go to jail. “I never wanted to call the police because I didn’t want him to go to jail. I loved him. And he would say ‘If you call the police, they’re going to send me to jail. And who’s going to take care of Kennedy? Who’s going to take care of you?'”
As for the criticism that Russell is no longer here to defend himself, Taylor responds: “I would say that they’re right Unfortunately. He is not here. And I’m mourning the loss of him if not more than anyone.” She adds, “But at the same time, I’ve put myself second in other to protect him and he doesn’t need my protection anymore. But there are a lot of women in this world that probably do. So I have to fight for the living now.”
And just this Wednesday, Russell’s lawyer Ronald Richards claimed Taylor’s abuse photos were phony and that the injuries were not inflicted by Russell. “If Mr. Armstrong was the cause of those injuries he would have been arrested and prosecuted,” Ronald told TMZ adding that the injuries may have been from plastic surgery and noting that Taylor had not filed a police report.
Those close to Taylor however insist the pictures are very real and that she has others that make R&B star Rihanna‘s battered face “look like child’s play.”
Taylor is set to appear on the Dr. Phil Show today to further discuss things and try to get help for coping with this tragedy. Part of the ET interview is below –
TELL US – THOUGHTS ON TAYLOR’S INTERVIEW AND THE COMMENTS MADE BY RUSSELL’S ATTORNEY? DO YOU BELIEVE SHE WAS ABUSED OR STILL HAVE YOUR DOUBTS?
On last night’s episode of the Taylor, Taylor, Taylor showReal Housewives of Beverly Hills, Taylor has a drunken meltdown rivaling that of the infamous KKB, leaving everyone running for the private jets to get them out of Crazy Creek, thus ruining another one of Camille’s notorious dinner parties! Adrienne and Paul had their first real seaming fight, and Kim was perhaps three or four sheets to the wind…
Things start off with a tipsy Taylor still crying in the hot tub with Kyle, clutching her wine and sobbing her crocodile tears while Kyle lapped them all up. Camille, who can’t be bothered with anyone else’s issues, goes to lie down. Can I have Camille’s life where hosting a dinner party consists of relaxing in my room while a full staff does all the work. As Kyle is managing Taylor’s emotional state, the smarter, less disillusioned housewives are taking a nap. Kim is in a peaceful slumber, when a (naked) wasted Taylor jumps on her in her underwear and wakes her up to cry some more about how their lives are a mess and filled with problems, unlike Adrienne’s life, which is perfect. Well, except for her hair situation.

“Most shows that were offered the picture did not want to pay anywhere close to that,” says a source. Sources go on to confirm what has been widely reported which is that Taylor is broke and desperate for money. “She’s broke,” added the source. Both Taylor’s reps and ET declined to comment on the story.
As for what we can expect from Taylor’s ET interview with Nancy O’Dell tomorrow, she will reportedly open up on how Russell abused her and what led to the particular incident from which the abuse photos came from.
The HollywoodLife reports that Taylor told ET Russell never hit her in front of their 5-year-old daughter Kennedy. Something Taylor reveals she is grateful for. ET also revealed that Russell tried to change his will six weeks before his death, but never finished. It’s likely that attempted change came about after Taylor filed for divorce.
Following the release of Taylor’s abuse photos, her RHOBH costars are also speaking out about it. “Shocking,” said Lisa Vanderpump to Access Hollywood. “It’s very hard to accept that, to look at that.” Kyle Richards adds, “Very difficult photos to look at.”
Lisa goes on to reveal that she was actually at Taylor’s home the night the alleged abuse took place. “I was with her that night that all this ensued and they looked to be in a good place,” Lisa recalled declining to answer if the couple had been drinking that night. “It was very confusing, their relationship and you see that on the show. … They were in a good place when I left them at 1:30 in the morning. They were in a good place, absolutely.”
When asked about Taylor’s decision to release and sell the photos, Kyle tried to remain diplomatic. “That’s something you’d have to ask Taylor, but I mean, she does have a child to support,” said Kyle.
“She has been left with this crumbling kind of deck of cards of a facade, that not only did she lose the father of her child, her support, her whole lifestyle and everything crumbled around her,” stated Lisa. “So, I think we have to be supportive in whatever choices she makes.”
There are reports that Russell hit Taylor that night after she told him her friends would be going to the cops if she did not divorce him. Following the abuse, Taylor reportedly decided to divorce Russell while in the hospital.
Meanwhile a new episode of the RHOBH airs tonight on Bravo at 9/8c. On the third episode this season, Adrienne experiences a full-court press when her family must make crucial decisions that could result in their NBA team moving to a rival city. Meanwhile, Kim’s offbeat behavior puts the focus on potential problems in her personal life. A preview clip is below –
TELL US – THOUGHTS ON TAYLOR SELLING THE ABUSE PHOTOS? AND THOUGHTS ON TONIGHT’S NEW EPISODE?
We all remember that very first episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, when Taylor Armstrong shocked the viewing public by describing her marriage as “80% business, 20% pleasure,” well apparently there is more truth to that statement than initially suspected.
In the continuing tragedy ofRussell Armstrong’s life and death, The Daily Beast conducted an in-depth investigation into Russell and Taylor’s financial dealings, interviewing legitimate sources who actually identified themselves by name. Sadly, in light of the investigation, it seems Taylor was a driving force behind many of Russell’s business ventures and was an active player in allegedly scamming investors.
The Armstrongs, who married in 2005, welcomed their daughter Kennedy into the world soon after. Taylor, who was on her fourth name change by the time she became Mrs. Armstrong, apparently used her “maiden name,” Ford, to imply she was a wealthy member of the Ford Motor Company family. Tom Crosswaite, a long-time business associate of Russell’s who invested heavily in two of his companies, on Taylor’s ever-shifting identity: “She’s from Oklahoma, for goodness sakes! And she’s changed her name from Shana Hughes to Shanna Taylor to Taylor Ford to Taylor Armstrong. She wants you to think she’s a dumb blonde but she’s not!”
Taylor, described as more than “arm candy” by sources, was part of a complicated scam to rope in potential investors using fraudulent information about her past; thus misrepresented her affiliations. Russell and Taylor whose history of grifting came out in the press during the first season of RHoBH soon became embroiled in lawsuits and accusations about their shady dealings and manipulative ways from former acquaintances and business partners, including a history of filing bankruptcy and misappropriating investor money.
Currently MyMedicalRecords.com (MMR) has filed suit and complaint against the Armstrongs in Superior Court of California alleging: “Russell engaged in “self-dealing” and, “in concert with Taylor,” the couple “secretly funnel[ed]” money to themselves to fund their “lavish lifestyle, redecorate their mansion…and become business colleagues of (actress) Eva Longoria, in an upscale restaurant.” (The couple openly bragged about owning 51% of Beso, the restaurant owned by Eva Longoria, but documents show Taylor invested $11,000 – or 2%.)
“Taylor’s most blatant tactic was to tell people that she was a member of the prestigious Ford family and by implication put a stamp of approval on her husband’s proposed investments.” Through this pseudo-affiliation with a prestigious family, she ” falsely claimed others in the family were major investors in Russell’s business dealings.”
Through her attorney, notorious celeb lawyer, Martin Singer (whose clients include Charlie Sheen); Taylor, denies that she ever portrayed herself as a member of “the Ford Motor Company family,” and Singer maintains that his client has always represented herself as coming “humble beginnings.”
A long-time friend of Russell’s, Dr John Franks, remembers Russell as “happy go lucky” before Taylor:
“After Taylor came into Russell’s life, however, with her expensive tastes and demands for costly jewels, clothes, and fancy vacations, Russell’s carefree days were behind him, and Franks says his friend submerged himself in more investment plays. Once The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills came into their lives later, Taylor required cosmetic enhancements, a stylist, a maid, a nanny, landscapers, and pool attendants—all designed to showcase her in the best possible light for the TV public.” Franks continues, asserting that Taylor required an “$11,000 a month nut for the house and staff.”
To help garner capital to support her expensive requirements, Dr. Franks reveals of Taylor: “She’d go around working the crowd, especially the guys, mentioning her Ford family connection. She would set up the presentations at the Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, rent the room, make sure there were hors d’oeuvres and drinks. And he would make the presentation”
According to Beverly Hills real-estate entrepreneur, Philip Elghanian, Russell and Taylor attempted to purchase a home from him through a lease to own type deal and the keys were turned over to them with the promise of payment. After months of waiting for a signed contract that was never returned he attempted to evict them and was immediately served with papers from the couple demanding he pay them $75,000 for renovations they made to the home, despite never being given permission to make said reservations.
Elghanian reports: “Taylor said, ‘My best friend is the decorator on this house. We’ve already paid him $50,000. We’ve already bought the wallpaper.’” According to Elghanian’s account, “My lawyer finally said to pay them because they’ll tie you up in court forever at a huge cost.”
The supposed decorator and best friend, John Wiltgen; well the Armstrongs defrauded him too – with Taylor at the helm! “They were telling people I was their designer but they never signed the contract I sent them. They picked out furniture and fabrics … but they never paid for any of it. They never paid me a dime [but] they did offer me some more MMR stock. And Taylor can’t say she didn’t know because she was standing right there smiling.” Oops, busted again, Tay-Tay.
Robert H. Lorsch, a wealthy LA businessman who invested in MMR, the most recent company Russell was attempting to start, recounts that Russell left the partnership “under a cloud of missing money.” An investigation into their shady dealings with the company attracted attention when another associate’s wife was confronted by Taylor in the ladies room at a restaurant, where Taylor “completely broke down … [She] told her how Russell was in a bankruptcy and she was unsure about how it would affect her friendships with people who had invested with them.” Lorsch hired a private investigator to track down this bankruptcy and discovered over $1M that never made it into the company’s accounts. Including $10,000 from a elderly widow Taylor had deposited into the account of a separate company headed by Russell, “which utilized Taylor’s services.”
After being confronted quietly by the board of directors at MMR, Russell AND Taylor signed a settlement agreement requiring them to list every investor they had gotten money from and relinquish all their shares of MMR stock. “It’s very rare to have the wife of an executive sign a settlement—but we had to,” recounts Lorsch. “Her fingerprints were everywhere.”
An additional internal audit conducted by MMR which led to the pending lawsuit against the Armstrongs, revealed that Taylor did a lot of spending while Russell was supposedly in bankruptcy. The audit uncovered that in April and June of 2007, Taylor wrote a $20,000 check to a charity and put another large sum in an offshore Cook Island account for the “Taylor Family Trust,” meanwhile MMR was missing millions in unaccounted for investor money.
The article goes onto speculate that the couple might have come through the bankruptcy “with flying colors,” and Taylor could benefit mightily from some of Russell’s undisclosed financial investments (although his attorney, Ron Richards has previously stated he was virtually penniless at the time of death), including an investment in a film company Russell bragged to associates about receiving $200M from! I wonder if that money is in the “Taylor Family Trust,” as well?

Thoughts on Taylor’s involvements swindling investors? Are you surprised? Do you believe the couple was hiding monetary assets?
Dina, who is currently the star of her own show on HGTV, creatively titled: Dina’s Party, explains that being a part of RHoNJ was no longer fun: “I woke up one morning and [thought] ‘what am I doing? I don’t like doing this. I don’t have to do this.”
She adds, “I wouldn’t put my daughter on anymore [during] season 2, my husband never wanted to be on. So you have that choice. I don’t blame Bravo. I don’t blame production ’cause at any time you, you do sign a contract, but you can play chess. Say, okay fine come on over and film me washing my dishes.”
There have already been rumors that her sister-in-law, Jacqueline Laurita wants out after drama with her daughter, Ashley Holmes has been a major story-line for more than one season. Jacqueline’s younger children are basically never featured and excepting the issues with Ashley, her involvement has been a little, ummm…bland, as of late.
And with Teresa Giudice’s family joining the show, airing even more of her dirty laundry, she may want to leave as well! Dina, who is rumored to have a “made for TV” friendship with her former co-star, recently attended Teresa’s daughter, Audriana’s second birthday party (Dina is her godmother), and both women maintain that they have a genuine friendship. I don’t see Caroline Manzo leaving, especially since it is rumored that Caroline and Dina are no longer on good terms!
Putting Bravo on blast over their decision to air The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills almost immediately after Russell Armstrong’s untimely death, Dina laments that Bravo should have “postponed a bit,” musing: “I thought they would wait a little bit longer but my god, what a situation.”
Dina reminds the viewers that being part of a reality show, well, on some level it’s actually real life. “People forget that it’s really our lives it’s not just a scripted show,” she describes. “So it’s a very hard thing for the audience to remember for that second. This really happened in someone’s life … ”

Do you think there is some truth to what Dina is saying? Who do you think wants to leave the show? Do you agree that Bravo aired RHoBH too soon?
It had been reported that Taylor, 40, was angling to give her first interview toBarbara Waltersbut RadarOnline is now reporting that interview didn’t pan out as Taylor reportedly had too many demands for the veteran journalist.
“Taylor had a list of demands that Walters just wasn’t willing to go along with. Taylor didn’t want to be grilled about her participation on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills possibly contributing to Russell’s suicide,” a source close to the situation reveals. “She didn’t want to be put on the hot seat regarding her spending habits. In the end, Entertainment Tonight was able to come to an agreement with Taylor that she was extremely comfortable with.”
Taylor’s interview with ET will air next Tuesday on September 20. According to ET, Taylor will open up to Nancy O’Dell about the bruises that she says were caused by her late husband. A source close to Taylor states that she underwent Lasik eye surgery on July 5. And just days later, the source claims she was hit by Russell so hard that her corneal flap was dislocated.
Taylor was not seen in public for the remainder of July as her injuries healed. Her first public appearance after that was on August 1, at a press tour promoting season two of the RHOBH.
ET is also reporting that when Russell, 47, showed up at the hospital, Taylor claimed she suffered the injuries when she was kicked in face by their 5-year-old daughter Kennedy. Therefore, the attending doctor did not report any abuse.
It’s more than likely Taylor was paid for the interview and/or the abuse photos. And speaking of those abuse photos, Russell’s sister Laurie Kelsoe is now speaking out about them and against Taylor.
“I think it’s bullsh*t,” Laurie tells the RumorFix about the photos which she admits she has yet to see. Laurie goes on to question Taylor’s intentions. “Why didn’t she file a police report?” Laurie asks. “I think she needs to let it rest — I mean the poor guy’s dead!”
