Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston To Discuss Tripp’s Move to Arizona

As we reported yesterday, Bristol Palin, who isn’t at all famous for having a famous mom and being a teen mom, and would have definitely been asked to do Dancing With The Stars even if she didn’t have a famous mom, recently purchased a home in Arizona, making plans to move there with her son Tripp while also enrolling in Arizona State University.

A new report by TMZ today reveals Bristol will have one small hurdle to overcome in other to make the move with Tripp. “According to court officials in Alaska, in order for a parent with primary custody — like Bristol — to relocate a child, she would need either consent from the other parent or she could file a motion for approval from a judge,” TMZ reports.

It however seems Bristol’s ex Levi Johnston will not be putting up a fight over the move. Levi’s rep states, “Levi is not at all upset that Bristol is going to Arizona” … adding, “After the holidays, Levi and Bristol will get together and discuss plans for Tripp.”

Bristol has also accused Levi of being an absentee dad recently. Earlier this month, when it was reported that Levi was in a new relationship, Bristol had the following to say — “I have to be happy for Levi’s new relationship because it sounds like his new girlfriend is influencing him to want to actually spend time with Tripp. I sincerely appreciate her influence because [Levi] hasn’t asked to see Tripp in over five months, so I’m happy for this new development!” Ouch.

In other news, Popeater is also reporting today that Bristol might not be the only Palin moving out of Alaska. A source close to the Palin family tells the site that the entire Palin clan is planning to leave Alaska, with Sarah Palin also eying property in Arizona.

The above photo of Levi, Bristol and Tripp was taken during happier times this past July, when the two reunited and sold told their engagement story to UsWeekly. They ended up calling off their engagement again just weeks later.

Report: Sarah Palin Wants $1 Million Per Episode For Season 2 of TLC Show

A year and a half after quitting her job as the Governor of Alaska for reasons we’re still uncertain of (her rambling speech didn’t quite make it clear), Sarah Palin continues to ride high.

An ABC news report estimates Sarah has earned over $12 million dollar since quitting her gubernatorial position last year. $7 million of that amount came from her book deal with $2 million coming from TLC. Sarah reportedly received $250,000 per episode for each of the eight episodes of her TLC reality show – Sarah Palin’s Alaska. No wonder she agreed to go on the camping trip from hell with Kate Gosselin. Sarah also earns $100,000 per speaking engagement.

According to a new Popeater report, Sarah’s show was a major success for TLC and the network is now trying to sign her for a second season. Her show debuted to over 4.96 million viewers and the episode with Kate Gosselin brought in over 3 million viewers. Kate Plus 8 on the other hand is only bringing in 1.3 million viewers per episode this season.

“For sure the network is doing everything it possibly can to convince Sarah to do another season, but at the end of the day it looks like it will all come down to money,” a TLC insider tells Rob Shuter of Popeater.

“Sarah knows to strike when the iron is hot and started talking about season two right after the show debuted to huge numbers,” a friend of Sarah reveals. “She knows that celebrities get millions of dollar for each episode of their shows and thinks she’s worth it too. Jennifer Aniston took home millions from ‘Friends’ and in Sarah’s eyes, she’s no different.”

A TV expert adds that if Sarah plays her cards right, it would not be impossible for her to get $1 million an episode for a second season, though we at Reality Tea highly doubt that.

Kate Gosselin Complains On “Miserable” Camping Trip With Sarah Palin

On last night’s episode of Sarah Palin’s Alaska, TLC tried a cruel and unusual experiment by putting together arguably two of the most controversial women/public figures in recent times.

Kate Gosselin and her plus eight made a special appearance on Sarah Palin’s show this weekend, as she joined the Palin family for what was supposed to be a fun camping adventure.

Kate however made that impossible as she pretty much whined and complained from the minute she got there. In fact, Palin’s father put it best when he stated Kate “bitched from the moment she got off the plane.”

“Look there’s a bear on the floor, did anyone notice?” said Kate in a patronizing tone upon arriving at Sarah’s home and things only got worse from there. Below are just a few of Kate’s bitchy comments through out the show -

“I’m worried about my toes; they’re freezing.”

“I’ve been bitten [by bugs] about 200 times — it’s horrible.”

“I’m miserable, but somebody’s gotta be.”

“This is cruel and unusual punishment.”

And before the camping trip was officially over, the Kate Plus 8 mom decided she was over the entire thing. “This is ridiculous!” Kate shrieked. “I just don’t get it! There are no paper towels! I’m freezing to the bone, I have 19 layers on, my hands are frigid! … I held it together as long as I could, and I’m done now.”

Yikes. As for Sarah Palin’s response to Kate’s bad attitude, she tweeted the following – “Life=10% circumstances, 90% your reaction to circumstances. Sunday’s “Sarah Palin’s AK ‘Alaskan Hospitality’” episode illustrates that a bit.”

Bristol Palin: ‘My Mom Did Not Force Me to Go on DWTS,’ Makes Gay Joke

A week after Margaret Cho made some controversial comments about Bristol Palin’s appearance on Dancing With The Stars, the 20-year-old is now firing back at the comedian.

It all started when Margaret accused Bristol’s mom Sarah Palin of forcing her to do DWTS during a November 29 blog post. “Sarah supposedly blames Bristol harshly and openly (in the circles that I heard it from) for not winning the [2008] election, and so she told Bristol she ‘owed’ it to her to do ‘DWTS’ so that ‘America would fall in love with her again’ and make it possible for Sarah Palin to run in 2012 with America behind her all the way,” blogged Margaret.

Fast forward to Saturday, on which Bristol took to her facebook page to respond to Margaret’s comments. “I will give my friend credit for creativity, and extra points for getting so many ‘facts’ wrong in so few sentences,” blogged Bristol. “Let me be blunt: my mom did not “force” me to go on DWTS. She did not ask me either. The show approached me.”

Okay, seems like a harmless reply. However Bristol then went a step further stating that perhaps Margaret’s comments stem from her lack of understanding conservative politics.

“If you understood that commonsense conservative values supports the right of individuals like you, like all of us, to live our lives with less government interference and more independence, you would embrace us faster than KD Lang at an Indigo Girls concert,” wrote Bristol.

The last statement seemed to be in reference to Margaret Cho’s sexuality as she is openly gay. Some now feel Bristol’s comments might have been homophobic. A TMZ poll shows that 64% of those who voted feel the comments were indeed homophobic.

Dancing With The Stars Recap: Jennifer Grey Twice As Perfect!

It was seminfinals week on Dancing With The Stars and the remaining four stars brought their A game.

The stars had to perform two dances each last night, while also having to do a brief solo performance during their first dance number. The story of the night was the perfect score received by Jennifer Grey and partner Derek Hough, not once, but twice! Jennifer first received all 10s for her cha cha cha in addition to a standing ovation. And for the second dance of the night, she also received a perfect score of 30 for her waltz. “It was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen,” said judge Carrie Ann Inaba.

Coming in second and third place were Kyle Massey and Brandy in that order. Kyle continued to impress receiving two scores of 29 for both of his dances. A point behind Kyle was Brandy and partner Maksim. Brandy received a total score of 57 for both of her dances, earning a perfect score of 30 for her feisty Argentine tango.

In last place for the seventh week in a row was Bristol Palin though she did receive high scores for her dances. A total of 53 for the night. Many are wondering if Bristol will sneak into the finals next week as the general consensus seems to be she is still in the competition due to the votes she is receiving from fans of her mother Sarah Palin. Sarah is also now a reality star thanks to her new TLC show Sarah Palin’s Alaska, which reportedly scored very high ratings with over 5 million viewers tuning into the Sunday night premiere.

Michael Bolton Voted Off Dancing With The Stars, Maksim Defends Brandy!

Following his very low score of 12 on Monday night, Michael Bolton’s elimination on Dancing With The Stars came as no surprise to viewers.

Michael, 57, however seemed a bit stunned by his elimination. When asked if he was surprised, he told host Tom Bergeron, “Uh, yeah,” adding that he was “disappointed.” Michael however took things in stride stating that he met some “wonderful, warm, sincere … and gracious people.”

His partner Chelsie Hightower was however still a bit peeved at judge Bruno Tonioli’s brutal criticism on Monday night, when he referred to Michael’s jive as the worst in the show’s history. “It was very harsh,” she told UsWeekly Tuesday. “It was very, very harsh, and I don’t know where it came from. I really don’t. It was hard to hear.”

“He didn’t have anything constructive to say,” she added. “It’s just rude when someone works so hard, and they have never danced before, and then you give them that criticism.”

Meanwhile, despite being safe last night, singer Brandy had to deal with criticism from fans and viewers of the show regarding her attitude and treatment of partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Some fans felt she threw Maks under the bus on Monday night.

Maksim is however coming to Brandy’s defense in a new interview with E! Online. “I don’t know how to say it so that people understand it, so I’m just going to say it the way it is: Brandy’s probably going to be my best friend after the show is over and that’s a true fact. Brandy’s a sweetheart. She’s everything that a real person is. I’ve been hearing a lot of comments saying she’s a diva. She’s not a diva at all. While I’m flattered that people came to my protection, I really need to make sure people understand there’s nothing to protect because she didn’t try to hurt me….We are amazing friends. We are!” stated Maksim.

And finally, the show attempted to put an end to boogate last night when several media outlets speculated that Sarah Palin was booed by the audience. Footage was shown to try to shut down those rumors. I’m personally not sure where the Sarah Palin was booed rumors came from, as it never crossed my mind on Monday night. I simply assumed the audience was booing the 24 score the judges gave to Jennifer Grey, who gave a rather impressive performance.

DWTS’ Karina Smirnoff Talks The Situation & Former Fiance Maksim, Plus Preview Tonight’s Episode!

After taking off last season of Dancing With The Stars, professional dancer Karina Smirnoff is now opening up about her current dancing ‘Situation,’ her new boyfriend, and working with her former fiance.

In the interview with Access Hollywood, Karina discusses dancing with Jersey Shore’s The Situation. “He hasn’t hit on me! And I’m taking it as an insult,” Karina joked about the rumors the two would end up hooking up. “Like, what am I? A grenade?”

In Jersey Shore terms, a grenade is an unattractive female. “We’re like brother and sister,” Karina adds, however making it clear the two do have some chemistry. “We laugh, we definitely have some flirtatious kind of mystery.”

Another reason we shouldn’t expect a Karina/Situation hookup? Well, for one Karina has a boyfriend. Karina, who has been dating pro baseball player Brad Penny for months now, says Brad and The Situation have become buddies. “They love each other and they exchanged phone numbers,” she said.

Karina also opens up about having to work with her former fiance Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who is now partnered up with Brandy. Karina and Maksim broke off their engagement exactly a year ago.

“I was a little concerned about that coming into this season and that was one of the main reasons why I wanted last season off,” she told AH. “It’s cool… It’s my job; I love what I do; I love dancing; I love choreographing and I get paid for it so it’s pretty much you know perfect scenario, perfect situation. I wish him all the best.”

Moving on to tonight’s episode of DWTS. What can we expect? According to TMZ, Bristol Palin will be dancing the quickstep to “You Can’t Hurry Love,” Audrina Patridge will be dancing the quickstep as well to “Love Machine,” and The Situation will also be dancing the quickstep to “We No Speak Americano.”

Multiple outlets also reported last week that following the season premiere no show, Sarah Palin will be in attendance tonight.

DWTS Recap: Brandy & Jennifer Grey Sizzle While The Situation Bombs!

The 11th season of Dancing With The Stars premiered last night on ABC. While the general consensus amongst critics seems to be that this cast is not as good as last season’s, E! Online is reporting today that with over 21 million viewers tuning in last night, the ratings are up 3.5 million viewers from last fall’s premiere.

Last night brought us some great surprises, Kyle Massey anyone? While some other stars failed to sizzle on the dance floor. Three of the stars tied for last place with a score of 15. Those stars are The Situation, Margaret Cho, and David Hasselhoff. In the case of The Situation, he had a bit of an excuse as he only had 6 days to practice before the premiere, compared to the 3 weeks his competitors had.

The belles of the ball last night would have to be Brandy and Jennifer Grey. Brandy received praises from the judges for her graceful Viennese Waltz to go along with her score of 23. Jennifer Grey also danced the waltz following her emotional practice session with partner Derek Hough. Jennifer scored the highest point of the night, receiving a 24. Trying for second place alongside Brandy was Kyle Massey, who shocked the audience with his great Cha Cha Cha performance.

Despite the comparisons to Kate Gosselin, Bristol Palin gave a solid performance, receiving a score of 16. The most talked about event of the night however came in the form of an absence from the show. Despite numerous reports from multiple media outlets confirming that Sarah Palin would be at the show last night, the former Governor of Alaska ended up being a no show. According to the Today Show, Sarah had a last minute change of heart and decided she did not want to steal the spotlight away from daughter Bristol. Sarah will reportedly attend next week’s show.

Unlike last season, one of the dancing couples will be eliminated during the first week of competition. The results show airs tonight on ABC at 9/8c.
