Shahs of Sunset Season 3

Last night's episode of Shahs of Sunset was intense – but extremely producer driven. That was beyond transparent. Basically, Adam Neely found a skinnier, cuter, nicer gay Persian to hang out with, and Reza Farahan felt insecure and jealous. Think Mercedes "MJ" Javid meeting Lilly Ghalichi for the first time.

I believe Reza had issues with Sasha,  but I definitely do not believe this was their first ever encounter. I think Reza is a very mean-spirited and disrespectful person, and the producers used it to their advantage this week.

First up, Mike Shouhed visits a dermatology and hair restoration clinic to find out if his hair needs professional help, as his asshat of a friend Reza has suggested.  Then Mike bring Reza for moral support – Mike doesn't need hair help, he needs brain help.  Reza never stops making fun of Mike.  Mike puffs out his chest and says he's going to shave Reza's head and mustache ("that Burt Reynolds looking mother f–ker") while he's sleeping. Yeah, sure.

So, a doctor examines Mike's full head of thick black hair, then determines he's not balding.  What. A. Nail. Biter.  But the scene wasn't all for naught – we learn Mike suffers from ear dandruff. As well as poor taste in best friends.

Shahs Of Sunset - Season 3

What a difference a few months make on Shahs of Sunset. Last season, Lilly Ghalichi was Asa Soltan Rahmati and Reza Farahan‘s new favorite friend, but now her self-righteous co-stars say she needs to be “more real” and to “get off her high horse”.

Last week, Lilly confronted Asa, wanting to know why she didn’t speak up in her favor when Mercedes “MJ” Javid claimed nobody on Shahs of Sunset is her friend.  Asa took to her Bravo blog to share, “MJ actually said, ‘These people were my friends FIRST,’ which is the truth and doesn’t need defending.”

“Second Lilly and MJ were exchanging catty remarks, and I don’t see how this is anybody’s business but theirs,” added Asa. “How are you going to have a fight with someone and then blame the other people?  I really wish Lilly would get more real about things.” That’s rich coming from the Persian Pop Priestess (which means what exactly?) who manufacturers Diamond Water (which does what better than regular water exactly?).

Last night's Shahs of Sunset reminded me how incredibly thankful I am for my friends and genuine friendships based on trust, love, and generosity.

The relationships between Reza Farahan, Mercedes "MJ" Javid, Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi,  Asa Soltan Rahmati,  Mike Shouhed,  and Lilly Ghalichi leave a lot to be desired. To say the least. Yes, this is reality TV, but this particular group (minus Lilly) has prided themselves on being real friends long before they invited Bravo's cameras into their lives. You can call me crazy but I don't see much to be proud of on Shahs of Sunset these days.

To open the show, MJ boasts, "There's a reason why Reza and I are as tight as we are – we just fit. We belong together."  Blah. I still cannot believe MJ let Reza back into her life so easily.

STAR magazine's

Shahs of Sunset star Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi recently chatted with Brandi Glanville on her podcast show, Brandi Glanville Unfiltered, and the highlights included Brandi and GG talking about Mercedes "MJ" Javid and GG dishing a bit of blind gossip.

While talking about anger issues, Brandi said, "I do have one with your co-star MJ. She ran into a friend of mine and was incredibly mean to him. She didn't realize he actually worked for the show – that was putting on her show – but she was, he said, horrible, bossy, and dismissive."

GG responded, "I'm going to be completely honest, I love MJ to death and I would really be there to have her back for anything, but there are a lot of our cast members that have changed with this small bit of fame. We're only three seasons in, we're not any kind of Angelina Jolie, to have that attitude. The more famous you become, the more humble you should become because people look up to you. So, that's unfortunate to hear, but I can't make any justifications for her."

Be In The Know About Bullying

This week's Shahs of Sunset left a lot of fans disgusted by Mercedes "MJ" Javid's behavior toward Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi.  I've always liked both MJ and GG, but I, too, was turned off by MJ's actions and flippant attitude.

MJ took to her Bravo blog to explain why she told Sean about GG making out with another guy at Lilly Ghalichi's birthday party.  Believe it or not, MJ said she was originally sticking up for GG, which could not be more out of sync with her talking heads on the show.

"In the situation where Sean ogled other girls at the club, I felt insulted by his behavior," explained MJ. "I was equally as offended as if it were my man who was eye f—ing other girls, and I felt it to be hurtful and extremely disrespectful. Sean traveled a lot and GG was always questioning his loyalty to her. When I said what I said to him, in my mind at that moment, I was sticking up for her by taking a dig at him."

Shahs of Sunset is back with a vengeance – so much drama already!

This week picks up exactly were we left off.  Mercedes "MJ" Javid has just informed Lilly Ghalichi that she has no friends on Shahs of Sunset. Season two mean girls, Reza Farahan and Asa Soltan Rahmati, seem desperate to redeem themselves with viewers, and MJ is more than happy to let Lilly know she's overstayed her welcome.

Reza complains about how Lilly acts like she is above the rest of the group – yes, really – and he's proud of MJ for finding her voice.  Wait.  Let me get this straight.  A few months ago, MJ was a sloppy pill popping lying alcoholic, but now she's appropriately reacting to the hate that Lilly spews?  Got it.

Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi thinks Lilly's right, in this instance, but she chooses not to speak up. I have a feeling she comes to regret this.

So, I moustache you, are you ready for Shahs of Sunset? Reza Farahan is – but first he wants us to know where things stand between him and his co-stars.

Speaking to OK!, Reza admits he's not in a good place with Mike Shouhed. "Our business relationship really messed up our personal relationship," he shares. "It was a huge mistake to go into a real estate partnership with Mike. I wish I could take that back."

On the other hand, Reza says he and Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi are in a "calm and beautiful" place.  "As long as the anger and venom is not directed towards me, it's tolerable," Reza adds. "But it's very difficult when it's pointed in your direction."

So, Asa Soltan Rahmati and Reza Farahan weighed in on the RSVP drama on Shahs of Sunset, and I completely agree with one of them. The other one makes me want to bang my head against a brick wall.

I fear Lilly Ghalichi's party has set the tone for the entire season. Lilly and Mercedes "MJ" Javid do not like each other – never have, never will – and now their childish feud is going to drive a wedge between MJ and Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi.  I don't think MJ even considered going to Lilly's party until Reza stirred the pot. Suddenly Reza couldn't bear the thought of MJ feeling humiliated if/when she was turned away from the party for not RSVPing. Really? Either Reza asked the great and powerful Oz for a heart since we saw him last or he's feeling the heat and desperate to redeem himself.

Asa kept her opinion on the matter short and sweet. "I have to say I'm a bit over the whole RSVP thing," she blogged. "That horse is so dead."  YES!  Reza, on the other hand, took the scenic route to Asshatville.
