Basketball Wives star and producer Shaunie O'Neal certainly surrounds herself with some classy people, I'd say. You know what they say though, birds of a feather and all that jazz!

The show has been plagued with lawsuits since its inception, but they usually involve peripheral players. Yet another legal entanglement surrounding the show has been settled as well, and it involves Shaunie's friend and "celebrity shoe consultant" Rashidah Ali. Rashidah was featured on a few early episodes of the series as a pal of Shaunie. Rashindah was sued for $10 million after allegedly cutting a man in the face with a box cutter. What is it with these women and their box cutters? Paging Kenya Bell…

PHOTOS: Shaunie O’Neal Talks Evelyn’s Wedding; Announces She’ll Be The Future Godmother Of Their Kids! Plus Tami On A Sitcom?

Vh1 is keeping Evelyn Lozada and Chad Ochocinco‘s wedding tightly under wraps in preparation for their spinoff, Ev & Ocho. Lucky for us Shaunie O’Neal attended the festivities in St. Maarten and while drunk at Essence Festival in New Orleans, she spilled some details on the nuptials!

“She’s a Johnson!” Shaunie gushed to Vh1, adding that everything about the day was perfect. As for the bride and groom they looked amazing according to Shaunie. Describing Chad’s outfit, Shaunie shares: “When he came down [the aisle], that boy was sharp! I’ve been talking about his outfit ever since I left. He look so good!”

Ocho sported a navy blue “rich looking suit” that was “tailored perfectly.” And his shoes even matched his outfit. Well, that’s success! “They went with that suit and that wedding,” a happy ~~drunk~~ Shaunie ~~slurred~~ announced.

Shaunie O’Neal Floored by Firing Rumors, Nia Crooks Blames Jennifer Williams for the Slap

Rumors have been swirling about the cast of next season’s Basketball Wives. Have Jenn Williams, Kesha Nichols, and Royce Reed been handed their walking papers? While Jenn and Kesha have remained mum on the gossip, both Royce and producer/Queen Bee Shaunie O’Neal have taken to twitter (where else?) to add their two cents. Deny, deny, deny! Shocking, I know.

After the news broke, Royce tweeted, “This is so entertaining!!! Gotta love TMZ!”

Shaunie chose to respond in a manner that didn’t really answer any definitive questions. It’s not surprising, knowing how well she’s mastered the ability to double talk. She responded to a follower’s question about the firings by saying, “Let’s just say… I will not entertain anything but the truth hence me not replying 2 this RUMOR of the day.” So…what you’re saying is?

BBW’s Royce Reed, Jennifer Williams, and Kesha Nichols Get Axed! Royce Splits From Dezmon Briscoe! Evelyn and Chad’s Wedding Invitation!

As if any of you were planning to watch the fifth season of Basketball Wives, I have some breaking news that may just send you over the edge completely. TMZ.com is reporting that three of the ladies (and yes, these may actually be considered ladies) are getting axed from the show. While nothing has been confirmed, VH1′s official statement is, “We don’t comment on casting until everything is final. Thanks for checking in.” However, when you hear who is getting the boot–and why–I doubt you’ll be surprised.

First to hit the road is Royce Reed. Why? I would say it’s obvious. First, a lot of the women, including Queen Bee Shaunie O’Neal herself, refuse to film with Royce. I am guessing that makes it more difficult to have a legitimate story line. She doesn’t go on the cast trips, isn’t invited to birthday dinners, and misses out on all the bottle throwing and brawls. Lucky. Second, due to a gag order that has been in place since 2009, she isn’t even allowed to say the name of the basketball player to whom she was never a wife. Sorry, Royce, but the writing seems to be on the wall for you.

BBW’s Tami Roman “Apologizes,” Deactivates Twitter and Evelyn Responds to Backlash; Plus Royce Confirms She’s Still With Dezmon!

It was the most disturbing and horrendous episode I’ve ever had to blog about, and I watch some seriously trashy television. Y’all know I have to be talking about the most recent Basketball Wives, right? Naturally viewers were outraged as they watched Tami Roman bully fellow cast mate Kesha Nichols in a drunken tirade while vacationing in Tahiti. While I was certain that an apology would ensue just for the sake of damage control, I wasn’t holding my breath that it would be sincere. Bingo!

On Tuesday, Tami took to twitter to apologize for her horrendous behavior to Kesha. However, presumably due to backlash, she has since deleted her twitter account. According to newsone.com, the first apology tweet stated, I’m not proud of my behavior, but I own up to it and face it. I do apologize 2my family, my friends, my kids & 2 my cast members—Tami Roman (@TamiRoman)” followed by “I just landed in NYC, but I did catch 2nites episode on the plane. As I said earlier, this was BAD, wrong & immature-I apologize…—Tami Roman (@TamiRoman).”

Basketball Wives Renewed For Season Five; Shaunie O’Neal Promises Less Fighting! Plus Tami Settles Lawsuit

The ladies of Basketball Wives have been working overtime to secure their infamy. And despite a lawsuit, celebrity complaints, sponsor boycott, fan uprising, a former castmember speaking out, and a very popular online petition – the show has been renewed for a fifth season! Shocked? Yeah, me too! No word on whether or not Jennifer Williams will be included in the cast!

All hope is not lost as the producers seem to be listening to fans and promising less chaos and violence in the upcoming season. Shaunie O’Neal faced criticism about the direction the show has been going in at this season’s reunion, which was taped this week. Shaunie swears she’s been campaigning for a less violent show all along and now the network is finally listening to her. ~~Yeah, Right!~~

More Information On The Basketball Wives Movie! Plus, Sponsors Boycott The Show!

The executive producer of Basketball Wives, Shaunie O’Neal is apparently not happy enough with her VH-1 empire and is going Hollywood. While I think this would be an excellent reason for America’s movie theaters to start serving alcohol like they do in Europe (who can watch this without a box of wine?), Shaunie thinks this will be an inspiring story and tells Vibe that it’s not just ladies fighting. She swears.

It’s fictional. Even though it has to do with basketball life, it’s not actually taking Basketball Wives from TV and making it a movie. And it’s not about women sitting around arguing or lunching all the time. It’s an actual story. It’s a love story. It’s an empowering story. It’s funny. It’s life. It’s similar—we’ve taken a girl who’s just going into the NBA life and experiencing things and showing the whole story. She learns from the organization. She learns from other wives. And by the end of the story, it’s empowering for women and men. It’s so nothing like the TV show at all. No comparison.
