When Andy Cohen asked Kenya about her interaction with Kim, she admitted, “First of all, I watched that back and I was mortified. I think it was a big mistake for me to pull her chair. It was uncalled for. It was absolutely unacceptable and I do apologize for that behavior. I was in the moment. I was just fed up with the B.S. It’s something that happened but I’m really actually very ashamed of that.”
After today I do not want to hear the words “beatless brunch” for a month. Or at least a week. Mmkay? Sheree Whitfield takes her turn touching on last week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta – and shares her own thoughts on the beatless brunch.
Sheree didn’t care that Kim Fields asked the ladies to come without their makeup on since she doesn’t wear much anyway – and it saved her some coins! Winning! “I don’t think Kim was being shady. I didn’t take issue with the brunch, because I normally do not wear makeup during my day-to-day activities. As a matter of fact, I’ve never really worn makeup prior to being on TV.”
When all-around Real Housewives of Atlanta’s peacekeeper Kim Fields threw her well-intentioned ‘beatless brunch,’ she certainly never would have guessed that her reality show castmates would make such a stink about the gathering. Well leave it to her beat-faced crew of hoity-toity divas to pretty much make a mockery of the newbie’s attempts at an au natural affair.
Our favorite reality TV stars cannot get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to social media to share even more of their lives with us. And we would not have it any other way. Here’s a roundup of some of our favorite snapshots and selfies from this week. Enjoy.
Above: Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster shared, “Just because some ppl are done with your journey, doesn’t mean your journey is done. #AnotherWastedSaturday #LifeFromTheSideLines #Spoonie #LymeDiseaseAwereness #DeterminedToFindACure #AffordableForAll PS: Bad Selfie Day”
Last night on Real Housewives Of Atlanta, several of the ladies, led by Phaedra Parks, traveled to Washington DC to celebrate the anniversary of the Million Man March, while other ladies remained in Atlanta receiving million dollar guests.
Ayden helps Phaedra pack for the trip, which will involve meeting with several congress members, including Florida representative Frederica Wilson, whose organization inspired Phaedra’s newfound passion, Saving Our Sons.
Andy asks Sheree if she felt threatened. “I did not feel threatened at all,” she insists. “I don’t think any of us really felt threatened. Actually, they [Glen and Kenya] were going back and forth in a playful banter, almost like flirty for a little while, so it was really weird.”
I’m going to admit something to y’all that I’ve kept a secret. After Porsha Williams’ altercation with Kenya Moore at the Real Housewives of Atlanta’s reunion a few seasons back, I’d soured on the Georgia peaches. I took a break, and I’m not going to lie, I didn’t miss them.
However, when I heard the news that Kim Fields was joining the cast AND Sheree Whitfield would be back, I had to check it out…you know, for work. Since the first episode of this season, I have been hooked yet again. I don’t even miss NeNe Leakes! The drama has been insane, and I am still trying to figure out which women are true friends and who is throwing enough shade to fund an umbrella factory.
