Almost a week after a classless youtube video of her 16-year-old daughter made it’s way online (the video has since been removed from Youtube), Countess LuAnn de Lesseps is finally breaking her silence and denouncing her daughter Victoria de Lesseps’ actions, which included rolling up a joint and using the N-word.
In a statement given to Popeater, the Real Housewives of New York City star calls her daughter’s actions “unacceptable” and promises to use this setback to teach her about the consequences of said actions.
“I am the parent of a teenager, and as any parent can attest, teenagers go through periods of doing things that are wrong and not appropriate and that are later regretted,” said LuAnn. “My daughter Victoria knows that the behavior she exhibited was unacceptable. I have chosen to deal with this as a private family matter and an opportunity to discuss consequences of our actions.”
If you recall, LuAnn’s costar Ramona Singer re-tweeted the video after a fan tweeted it to her. Ramona then took down the tweet almost immediately. And now, Ramona is once again apologizing for her actions in a brief interview with Popeater’s Rob Shuter calling the re-tweeting “accidental.”
“I’m not very tech savvy, and [I'm] heartbroken that I accidentally retweeted this. I called Luann and Victoria immediately to apologize and tell them to remove the video. Regardless of our catfights on the show, our children are off-limits,” stated Ramona.
Alex McCordand hubbySimon Van Kempen however seemed to have a different take on things as they feel LuAnn should be more forgiving towards Ramona based on her own past actions.
“None of us are perfect, and sometimes we all tweet or retweet a little too hastily,” Simon said. “But it would be a little duplicitous for LuAnn to complain too much about Ramona’s regretful retweet when both she and Jill Zarin had great fun lambasting our oldest son throughout the third season.”
Alex added, “In the four years we’ve been involved with ‘Real Housewives,’ neither Simon nor I have ever said anything negative about any other castmates’ children. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for many others on the show.”
And finally, while LuAnn wants to deal with this issue privately and understandably so, Rob does report that Bravo cameras were on hand a few days ago to film an event during which Ramona, Alex and others discussed the issue. Which raises an important question – Is it fair for LuAnn to not want this issue discussed on camera?
One side of the argument is that LuAnn signed up for the show and to put her life on television, good or bad. Plus the issue is already public knowledge and involves a costar. Another side of the argument is that though LuAnn signed up to do the show, her daughter did not and should not have her dirty laundry aired on TV. Which brings us to the question…

The photos, which were first leaked online 2 years ago, show the mother of two posing nude in various locations. What's a bit shocking about the pictures is that they were taken just 10 weeks after the birth of Alex’s second son Johan.
InTouch magazine did an article on the pictures two years ago during which Alex said she was not ashamed of the photos. “I’m very proud of them – they’re beautiful,” said Alex of the pics which were taken by professional photographer James Demaria.
“It was a celebration that a new mom can be in great shape,” continued Alex who said she had no regrets. “I’d happily show them to my mother or anyone else!”
What's odd is all of the photos showing actual nudity seem to have disappeared off the net. Hours spent in trying to find the gallery or any photos showing nudity only came up with deleted pages and errors. It's a safe guess Alex and hubby Simon van Kempen might have gotten their lawyers involved.
A number of photos from the shoot were however found, though Alex's bits and pieces are covered up with stars, smiley faces etc, you still get the idea of what the photos look like. Those are below and slightly NSFW.
In other NYC news, Bethenny Frankeltold PEOPLE magazine she would consider returning to the NYC Housewives for a 4th season if changes were made to the cast. “I don’t see myself going back to The Real Housewives the way that the cast is now,” said Bethenny, who also shared that she is very happy with the success of her new show and the direction her life is going in.
It's likely the cast change Bethenny is referring to would have to do with co-star Kelly Bensimon leaving the show. There seemed to be a mixed reaction to Bethenny's comment. While some fans are saying good for her, others feel Bethenny is turning up her nose at the show that made her a star.
TELL US – WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON ALEX'S NUDE PHOTOS AND BETHENNY'S COMMENT?
It is finally over. The final part of the Real Housewives of New York City reunion show aired last night, and we got some resolution to some of the biggest issues of the season.
We start off with a continuation of Kelly Bensimon’s delusions. After spewing out her bullying crap against the women, Kelly decides to do her best Jill impersonation when she decides to storm of the show, like a brat not getting her way. In all honesty, Kelly leaving the stage for those few minutes ended up being my favorite part of the show. At this point, like Ramona, I just couldn’t anymore. I mean this woman was just making up events that never happened. It was extremely frustrating as a viewer to see her take no responsibility for her actions and on top of that, just sit there and lie over and over and over again. This is why I could definitely understand why Ramona, Sonja, and Bethenny felt the need to interrupt her lies.
Bethenny sums it up best when she says, “She just makes up whatever she wants to say. She’s going to tell me she’s an African American Asian woman in a minute. And we’re like okay, no, you’re not.” Alex and Sonja echo what I’ve been saying all along, which is if there was any bullying going on during the trip, it was being done by Kelly, who continually attacked the women, interrupted their conversations, and even called them “demented” to their face because they chose to gossip about Jill.
In the midst of LuAnn snickering like a high school mean girl, we also hear once again that Kelly was sent home by the producers and did not leave the trip on her own accord, as she has claimed. Kelly returns, and I really find myself hoping she had stayed away longer. Kelly once again attacks Bethenny and claims Bethenny, who we all saw cooking numerous times during the trip, did not cook.
Sonja asks Kelly when she bullied her, during which Kelly shares that Sonja was actually a friend to her on the trip and was there for her. In addition to Sonja, I find myself asking when did Alex bully Kelly on this trip? What we saw was Kelly randomly unleash a verbal attack on Alex, telling her she looked like a vampire and was channeling the devil.
It seems when Kelly doesn’t like what the other women are saying ,she attacks them. Kelly accuses Sonja of drinking too much, thus not remembering the systematic bullying she was a part of. She then tells Ramona her blood type is Pinot Grigio. Kelly accuses the women of being hateful and jealous of her, and at this point, I’m all but tired of listening to this insane rambling. Fortunately, we get a commercial break.
Wanted to add the following quote made by a commenter yesterday. MamaSays had the following to say –
“Every time they show a clip of someone addressing how fragile or crazy Kelly is in her presence she is seen nodding or looking a little vulnerable. This tells me that she is accustomed to having people discuss her mental state in front of her and, to me at least. shows that this is something that has occurred at least a few times before.”
Amazing insight by this reader. How many times was Kelly called crazy to her face? How many times did she appear physcially upset or even deny being crazy? I agree that at age 42, there’s about a 100% chance Scary Island wasn’t the first time Kelly had an “episode.”
Next up is Jill, and the topic of Jill getting kicked off Scary Island is brought up. Jill is ready to once again go into victim mode. Sonja speaks out, and unlike Kelly, actually makes sense. Sonja doesn’t believe Jill was sincere in coming on the trip to make up with Bethenny. Why? Well for one, Bethenny only lived a block away from Jill back in NYC. You know, a trip that would only have required 10 minutes of her time, and not 9 hours.
Victim Jill continues, “And by the way Ramona, thanks for asking me or Bobby if we wanted a drink of water or bathroom cause after nine hours of traveling….” said Jill, who earlier claimed she flew via a private jet. Apparently, private jets don’t offer water or bathrooms, and neither do airports. The only victim in this situation is Bawbee, who allowed his wife to drag him into this mess.
Jill, who by this point has watched Kelly’s off the wall behavior in St. John, now informs us she can relate to Kelly because of the way she was also treated by the bullies. Jill’s odd defense for Kelly didn’t end at the reunion show, as weeks later, she did an interview during which she compared Kelly’s bullying plight to that of Phoebe Prince. In case you’re wondering, Phoebe is the teenage girl who took her life this year because she was being bullied her some of her high school peers. Yes, Jill went there. But back to the show, for some reason, Jill decides Alex is to blame for the public backlash against her, the BP oil spill, and of course being kicked off St. John by Ramona. I’m guessing Jill’s four media consultants advised her to attack Alex and defend the crazy woman at all costs.
Kelly accuses Alex of being an actress and faking her anxiety at seeing Jill in St. John, and at this point, I really just want this woman to zip it, so that I can hear the sane people arguing. Jill apologizes to Ramona and Ramona appears to accept, despite Jill’s blog on Monday accusing her co-stars of not forgiving her. Jill takes things up a notch when she breaks out the crocodile tears and decides to proclaim that being kicked of Scary Island was “the most painful thing I ever experienced in my life.” Really Jill? More painful than Bobby’s cancer? And if at this point, anyone is still buying this woman’s act, then well I don’t know what to tell ya…
It’s now LuAnn‘s turn in the hot seat and the first part that stands out is when Andy asks LuAnn if her former husband, Count Alex de Lesseps, does not like jews. This is basically Andy asking LuAnn if the Count is Anti Semitic. One would expect LuAnn’s answer to be a definite NO, but the way LuAnn answers this question is rather interesting. “Umm I would say that umm, it’s not that he disliked Jews, he just umm would be surprised umm if I was with somebody Jewish.” Those, my folks, were the exact words that came out of LuAnn’s mouth. The bizarro look on Andy Cohen’s face says it all, so I will move on.
It is the battle of the books amongst the cast of the Real Housewives of New York City, and so far Jill Zarin seems to be losing… badly. First came Amazon-gate two weeks ago when it was revealed Jill assumed a false name on amazon.com and proceeded to threaten someone who gave her book, Secrets of a Jewish Mother,a bad review, before then leaving herself a good review.
It doesn’t end there however, according to a new report by theDailyBeast, Jill asked one of their reporters to leave her a good review after hearing the reporter liked her book. According to the reporter, she declined Jill’s offer, but Jill had another idea. “Can you go under an assumed name?” Jill asked.
The reporter declined again but the relentless Jill would not drop it. “I don’t know, you could just say you loved the book,” Jill said, “Anonymous. Is that so bad?” The reporter declined for a third time during which Jill told her she could just have her boyfriend do it instead. Aah, that crafty Jill!
Unfortunately for Jill, the good reviews she has left for her book simply can’t compete with the pile of negative reviews the book continues to receive. A quick visit to amazon shows Jill’s book has an astonishing 115 negative reviews compared to Alex McCord and hubby Simon Van Kempen’sbook, which has only received 1 negative review to date. But this is where the new scandal comes in. See the one negative review for Silex’s book was made on April 29th, the same day the husband and wife duo appeared on Bravo’s ‘Watch What Happens’ and made fun of Jill for reviewing her own book.
A lot of people are now suspecting that the person who gave Alex and Simon their lone negative review was none other than Jill Zarin herself, or someone close to her. Why you might ask? Well, a quick look at the reviewer, J. Samples’, shows them leaving only a total of 4 reviews – a negative review for Silex’s book, a negative review for one of Bethenny Frankel’s books, and a positive review for Countess LuAnn’snew sucky song. When you read the negative reviews left by J. Samples, it becomes very obvious they did not read Alex & Simon’s or Bethenny’s books.
Now unlike the previous review scandal, there’s no proof that this J. Samples account belongs to Jill. For all we know it could be a crazed Jill fan. However based on Jill’s previous actions, it wouldn’t be a big surprise if she was the one behind this all.
UPDATE: It seems the negative comment for Silex’s book has been removed, either by Amazon or J. Samples. Either way, the negative comment is below -
“I had thought I had seen everything. But to see these two clowns write a book about parenting is hysterical! Their cast mate Bethanny Frankel once said of them and I quote “These two would climb through a vent to get into a good party!” Well, it seems that they followed Ms. Frankel through a vent and crawled their way into a publishing house! How else could this have gotten published? Let’s review. Their kids are animals, appear dumb and disoriented, lack manners and are unkempt. They have also been seen on their television show, tearing apart a party at a lovely eatery and climbing up and biting the Countess Luann’s leg! And I am suppose to listen to anything these “parents” have to say?? As for these parents, they are strange, sexual deviants, and are broke. They are self claimed to have met on CRAIGSLIST for a SEXUAL encounter! They reside in Crooklyn, New York, in a townhouse that could be used for an S&M movie. Gay husband included! Scary stuff. I honestly hated this book. Chapter 6 was worthless and the parts that say they are “lessons” are a joke. The writing is poor and the book itself is poorly edited. Very little worthwhile material. Don’t open the cover folks, Johan might pop out and bite you too!!!”

When asked if she wishes she had handled her fight with Bethenny Frankel differently, she answered, “”I think I was out of my mind … Bobby, empty nest thoughts, and private matters. I am embarrassed.”
Jill also held a release party for her new book Wednesday night and she revealed she invited all the NYC housewives in an attempt to try to get them on Team Jill, no just kidding! She didn’t say that ofcouse, our Jill would never do such a thing! She did however reveal that she invited Bethenny as well, who as expected did not show up. In attendance were Kelly, new housewife Jennifer Gilbert, and Luann as pictured above. Also in attendance was Ramona. Bethenny however did show up to Alex and Simon’s book signing last week for their new book, Little Kids, Bit City. Photos from that are below.
When asked if she would like to be friends with Bethenny again, “Of course I would,” answered Jill, also telling Hollywoodlife, “I’ve already said sorry many times” to Bethenny! Wonder if that sorry came before or after the recent backlash, especially taking into consideration the fact that she referred to Bethenny’s wedding as being “circus-like” just two weeks ago.
You be the judge of whether or not she is sincere. Moving right along to tonight’s new episode of the NYC Housewives. We finally get to meet one of the two new housewives tonight as Sonja Morgan makes her debut on the show. Sonja, 45, is a single mom of one, and the ex-wife ofJohn Adams Morgan, the great-grandson of financier JP Morgan. Sonja is said to be good friends with the Countess and Ramona.
Sonja is also described as being a fan of shopping, sex, & plastic surgery. Sonja doesn’t apologize for living life on her terms. Meanwhile, Ramona has a surprise for Mariowhen she prepares a romantic setting at home to propose that they renew their wedding vows. And, LuAnn meets up with Jill to divulge about a potential new suitor in her life.

There seems to be a trend with Bravo Housewives when they decide to write a book, they tend to reveal some rather TMI details about their lives. First Nene Leakes revealed she used to be a stripper in her book Never Make the Same Mistake Twice, and there’s no telling what New Jersey Housewives’ Danielle Staub will reveal in her upcoming book – The Naked Truth. It is now however Alex McCord’sturn.
The Real Housewives of New York City star has decided to share some rather interesting tidbits in her new parenting book, Little Kids Big City: Tales From a Real House in New York City, set to hit the stands tomorrow April 6th.
The NYDailyNews got their hands on an except from the book during which Alex shares some rather controversial details about her pregnancy. She has two sons with hubby Simon Van Kempen. “Throughout my pregnancy, I gave into every craving I felt,” admits Alex. “When I wanted to have a drink, I did.”
And it doesn’t end there. Alex also reveals she actually drank the night she went into labor with Francois. She sipped on champagne as Simon escorted her to the hospital.
Alex then shares that she and Simon spent most of their time with the boys, “We’re very lucky that we’re able to pay our nanny extra for two evenings a week to go out,” shares Alex.
A “source” however claims the husband and wife duo go out way more than two nights a week. “They definitely go out A LOT during the week,” says the source. “They’ll go to practically any event to be seen.”
The nuptials were filmed for Bethenny’s upcoming reality show – Bethenny’s Getting Married, and the Today Show reported yesterday that OK magazine has purchased the wedding images, so expect to see some exclusive images in this week’s issue.
The paparazzi was however present at the Four Seasons were the wedding took place, and were able to get photos of Bethenny and some of her guests before and after the event.
So is she or isn’t she? Just days after Kim Zolciak went on a radio show to proclaim she was back with her married “fiance,” Big Poppa aka Lee Najjar, UsWeekly printed an article claiming the Real Housewives of Atlanta star is a lesbian and will come out during the 3rd season of her show.
According to their source, “Tracy broke up with her longtime girlfriend to be with Kim. Since they’ve been together, Tracy lost a lot of weight and got really skinny for Kim. They seem to be beyond happy with each other.”
Their other source for the story? Well it was none other than Simon van Kempen(who is married to Alex McCord) of the Real Housewives of NYC. “The rumor is that Kim Zolciak will come out this season,” he told Us at the Season 3 screening party in NYC.
In Simon’s defense, he did use the word “rumor.” However, Kim didn’t take too well to this story or Simon giving his input. She took to her twitter page and posted the following just hours after UsWeekly ran the story, “WOW…who the hell is Simon van Kempen? Talking abt me in US weekly. Give me a break…Get ur facts straights, Never met that man in my life.”
But what Kim, 31, didn’t do is deny the story. In fact, she has yet to publicly deny dating DJ Tracy Young, or even deny being a lesbian. Another report from entertainment reporter, Marc Malkin of E! News, also claims Kim is indeed dating DJ Tracy. According to Marc, his sources also confirm to him that Kim has been dating Tracy for 3 months.
Some people who are not buying Kim’s new relationship are apparently some Bravo execs who feel Kim decided to “become gay” because having a juicy storyline could help her in negotiations. As we reported, Kim is still negotating with Bravo for more money to do the 3rd season.
