Sonja begins her blog expressing surprise at LuAnn’s feelings about their friendship this season: “I was shocked when Luann said our relationship has been deteriorating for two years. This comes as a big surprise to me, since everything was cool with her and I until I saw her at the reunion for Season 6.” Sonja coyly adds, “I know who put what in her head.”
Bethenny Frankel has come back home to Real Housewives Of New York, except she’s homeless. Are we even sure she lives in New York City at this point, or does she just live in the scaffolding of her own hubris? Delusionally elevating her to the heights of such paragons as Bill Gates and Oprah, whom Bethenny clarifies would not change their underwear in the back of a town car. Clearly, Bethenny doesn’t really know Oprah. Oprah so would! Martha Stewart on the other hand, she would never be so disorganized as to let the prickly fibers of a polyester seatbelt touch her vagi-steamed nether-regions.
It’s clear right from the start Bethenny has an agenda on RHONY: to hawk Bethenny products and be the living incarnate of her Skinnygirl brand, but also to regain fan support by selling her old standby woe-is-me victim yarn. This time about her divorce and the horrible being she reproduced with known as Jason Hoppy, whom if she saw on the street she would ignore as a stranger.
Last night was the Real Housewives of New York City premiere party to kick off the premiere of season 7. The ladies headed to Ramona Singer’s new restaurant, AOA Bar & Grill, to celebrate the new season. All of the cast members were in attendance, with the exception of Bethenny Frankel, who was in L.A. to do promotional work.
All seven ladies – Sonja Morgan, Ramona, Luann de Lesseps, Kristen Taekman, Dorinda Medley, Heather Thomson and Carole Radziwill – wore black and white dresses and posed together as they arrived. They all looked amazing! Sonja forgot a bra, just so you’re warned when you view the gallery below.
“I’m very excited about the upcoming season and personally, I was happy Bethenny was coming back,” declares LuAnn. “We’re friends, have history together – with both good and bad moments – and that adds some depth to the season. We reminisce a lot about the past, so true fans of the show will really enjoy that, I think.”
Kristen explains that for the most part everyone got along this season, but she certainly has some friction with Bethenny and hints we should “#staytuned LOL.” Kristen explains Bethenny brings “a whole new dynamic” which is an interesting contrast.
Speaking to E! News about season two, Jackie shared, “If you’ve seen season one my friend, I certainly have not changed anything. I always keep it real, I’m always very straightforward. I could probably swear a little less. It sounds much nicer in another language, like I usually swear in, but when you swear in English it sounds a bit more, uh, bloody awful.”
Real Housewives Of New York is back and boasting a brand-new, completely the same, Bethenny Frankel! The exciting and dynamic preview below demonstrates this season is far from boring, but instead features glamour, personal dramas, and is filled with friction, but not of the manufactured kind.
Joining the show will be new Housewife Dorinda Medley, a good friend of Ramona Singer(Dorinda is giving me a whiff of Kim D – with real money!). The very wealthy socialite deals with dating dramas, daughter dilemmas, and learning to play well with others.
Our favorite reality TV stars cannot get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to social media to share even more of their lives with us. And we would not have it any other way. Here’s a roundup of some of our favorite snapshots and selfies from this week. Enjoy.
Whew – so drama is steeping on Real Housewives Of New York – and by the sound of things, no one is getting along very well with Bethenny Frankel. In a new interview the cast is evasive, but seems to imply that Bethenny is not meshing well with the newer Housewives! With the 7th season premiering April 7th, the cast says the theme will be “true friendships,” while being very evasive about where Bethenny fits into that!
Andy Cohen described the season as “#RHOMG” tweeting:
Bethenny confirmed this season has been interesting and assures that she does not shy away from drama or confrontation – and she also leaked that RHONY will be hitting our TV screens soon!
