In what looks to be nothing short of a freak show, The Hills stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag met up with ousted Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich this week in LA to take promo pictures for NBC’s new reality show – I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!
The attention whoring reality show couple have signed up to appear on the new reality show scheduled to air this summer. Ex-Governor Rod Blagojevich was also signed on for the show, but dropped out when a judge ruled earlier this week that he is not allowed to leave the country while still under investigation. He however for some reason still decided to fly out to LA to take promo pictures.
The show is set to premiere on NBC on June 1. It will involve dropping 10 celebrities into a Costa Rican jungle to face challenges and elimination.
The other “celebrities” signed on for the show include -
The two fame whores known as Heidi and Spencer are said to be planning a new wedding to air on The Hills this season. Which would make sense being that the last wedding they had in November was a complete fake, and a cheap publicity stunt.
“This will be the real wedding,” says a source close to the couple. “It’s being filmed as the season finale for The Hills.”
The controversial reality couple are said to have invited about 110 guests to the nuptials, but the list is expected to grow larger as the wedding date nears. A source says the couple plans to wed in a sunset ceremony and is looking at a rooftop location for a reception. Wishing these two would just go away already.
MTV has come out denying news that Lauren Conrad was filming some fake scenes for their hit show The Hills. Lauren announced her departure from the Hills earlier this year, and according to reports, she stopped filming for this season in March.
Well the problem with that is filming is still going on for the other cast members, and they need to get enough footage of Lauren to last through the entire season. So what do the producers do? Well according to NY Daily news, their solution included taping as much LC as they could before she left for good. Which included taping fake scenes for the show. “The producers would make Lauren react to a lot of potential scenarios, because they’re not yet sure how the finale will play out with the other characters,” says the source. “They would literally give her directions like, ‘Now react to Stephanie Pratt being pregnant!’ Lauren would just giggle and go for it. She also had to pretend to react to a fake story line about Audrina and Brody hooking up.”
The rumor of the Hills being fake has been rampant for the past few seasons. And it’s quite easy to believe considering some of the dialogue and well Spencer & Heidi. A rep for MTV denied the story saying, “We couldn’t cut a show with Lauren’s fake reactions.”
Heidi Montag has some choice words for her hills costar Lauren Conrad. In a new interview, the attention whore Hills star spoke out on Lauren leaving the show. “We don’t need her,” she tells MTV News. “We’ll miss her. I just don’t know if we need her.”
Heidi goes on to say she wasn’t surprised at the news of Lauren leaving. “She’s gotta leave the dramas to the pros! I love The Hills and I definitely don’t want to go anywhere anytime soon. That’s my home and I’m so grateful to be on it, so we’ll see.”
As the 5th and perhaps the last season of MTV The Hills is set to premier on April 6th, Lauren Conrad discusses leaving the show and what she thinks of Audrina Patridge‘s new reality show.
On leaving the show – “I actually thought last season was going to be my last, [But] the producers wanted to hopefully give the show some sort of closure and needed one more season. I didn’t have that much conflict in my life over the last few months.” She adds, “I think I only cry in one episode.”
On Audrina’s new show – “To be honest, I really haven’t heard that much about it. She has a pretty interesting life. She’s a really cool girl. She’s fun to watch.”
On the heels of the revelation that Lauren Conrad will be leaving The Hills after this 5th season, is news that Audrina is planning to do the same!
The 23 year old Hills star has teamed up with Mark Burnett (Survivor, The Apprentice) for a proposed new series will follow Patridge’s personal and professional life. The show will be shopped around to networks next week.
Though MTV refuses to confirm anything, it is becoming more and more obvious that this will be the Hill’s final season. The other rumor is that Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag will be getting their own newlywed type reality show on MTV (Yawns). Guess if Whitney Port can get her own reality show, so can Audrina.
