TGIF, y’all! I needed to let you decompress from that mess we like to call the final reunion installment of Love & Hip Hop. Are you over the scriptedness? I’m not, but I’ll plow through for you, dear readers. You know the old saying–when a door shuts on fake storyline rachetness, another one opens…and Stevie J. is waiting on your welcome mat!
That’s right. Once we get through this weekend, we’ll be treated to the star of VH1’s ridiculous L&HH franchise. After her violent exit from the season of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, Joseline Hernandez is back, along with other favorites. It’s the greatest of life’s lessons. No matter how horrible the behavior, if one brings the drama (and the viewers), that cash cow will never be put out to pasture!
Our favorite reality TV stars cannot get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to social media to share even more of their lives with us. And we would not have it any other way. Here’s a roundup of some of our favorite snapshots and selfies from this week. Enjoy.
Mona Scott Young deserves the slowest of slow claps. She is always trying to outdo herself in crazy drama. Unfortunately, she didn’t realize that when she cast Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, she was going to create the perfect storm, one which even the franchise’s creator couldn’t live up to in the grand scheme of VH1.
But, gracious, she certainly keeps trying! In an effort to bring new life to the original Love & Hip Hop, Mona has brought in a few new cast members. None are so memorable as Baltimore native Chrissy Monroe. She dates music producer Chink Santana, she’s got long-standing beef with Erica Mena due to her past as an alleged madame career as a modeling mogul, and she’s got a suitcase full of wigs that leave Kim Zolciak envious. Well, maybe not, but the lady has some serious hair pieces!
I think we all can agree that no one is in Benzino’s corner like this gal. I’m his biggest fan. I’m a champion of those with no neck on which to balance their head. I believe that he’s a catch who needs to be appreciated for the complex man that he is. Don’t judge me.
The former Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star seems like a stand up character compared to his friends and co-stars, but No-Neck seems to be racking up the arrests lately. It doesn’t look good when the show’s voice of reason keeps finding himself in handcuffs. I’m not going to say Mona was hasty in firing him from the upcoming season, but I’m guessing she is kicking herself from missing the opportunity to get all of Zino’s legal woes on film for ratings.
Stevie J (aka Steven Jordan) returned to court yesterday hoping he could convince a judge that he’s not guilty of remiss child support payments! The Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star pled “Not Guilty” following an indictment for owing more than $1.1 million in unpaid support, and insists he does pay – but it’s being spent it faster than he makes it!
Stevie’s case is being tried in federal court, instead of state court as is the norm in family proceedings. “There is a history in this case of the failure of Family Court to address this successfully,” Assistant U.S. Attorney Andrew DeFilippis explained, calling the federal court a “last resort” due to the extreme dollar amount of what Stevie owes and the lack of suitable resolution in state court due to filing errors.
Above, Stevie outside court, he captioned the photo: “My day 1 support system! @stefateaser @thebaddestputa1 @mcl_pr #The DevilIsALiar #lhhatl #TheJordans”

Mona, Mona, Mona. Leave well enough alone! We’re already tired of Chrissy’s wigs and Peter Gunz’ love triangle on Love & Hip Hop, and people are anxiously awaiting the return of the franchise that doesn’t need any additional drama. Love & Hip Hop Atlanta is ratchet on an entirely different level, and regardless of the regurgitated story lines and failed child support payments, it was something the audience revered.
There’s just something about Stevie J’s rat face, Joseline Hernandez’ spandex concoctions, and Lil’ Scrappy’s subtitles that just can’t be duplicated…even though they weren’t the original franchise. Don’t mess with a good thing, Mona. Oh wait…too late.
Stevie J‘s life as a deadbeat dad has finally come to an end! The federal government is putting a stop to his remiss fathering ways after a grand jury indicted Stevie for owing more than $1 million dollars in unpaid child support and now he could be headed to prison.
The Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star has been trying to fight the charges, even attempting to take a plea deal where he goes to rehab in exchange for avoiding prison and getting a reduced payment. Stevie is currently in a 30-day rehab program because he failed a few court-ordered drug tests, I might add!
